The higher the R value the more succulent the taste

But have you beaten any of them

Did this guy just like... have critical company data not backed up, only on his laptop?

I love your line of thinking. Lawns don't feed the ecosystem, flowers do! But here in the US dandelions and clover are not a critical part of their diet. Native plants are the critical part of their diet - e.g. Native maple trees that bloom first!

Dandelions are native to Europe

Clover is native to Eurasia

They are far from the worst weeds, i wouldn't go eradicating them like you should invasive plants (I leave both in my lawn anyways). But if we are looking to support our bees and ecosystem, then we should be re wilding our yard and growing native plants

In New England there's a lot of neat spring ephemerals too (select from additional attributes)

Of the 3 reboots, all are honestly great. 2 and 3 are particularly good

Give Andor a shot. For some reason it took four decades for someone to create that a show deep diving into rebels doing murky rebel shit and the empire being a bureaucrat fascist regime.

Soma is so fucking bleak and I love it

This, like other movies, I think comes down to novelty. Some of the shit done in that movie was truly incredible... At the time. Some bits are still really interesting.

The jogging scene, for example, was done at a time when CG wasn't really an option. So then you ask the question... How did they do some of these shots? How is this guy seemingly running in a zero g circle but it's actually a real camera?

Cinematic transitions are another. The bone spinning into the space station was really cool. It's a shot that has permeated like every form of media. Now it kinda looks cheap and jarring.

HAL as an AI, an evil robot, was an extremely interesting. Now it's something that has been done so, so many times since.

As a sci Fi I still like it, the slow pace isn't something that bothers me. I enjoy movies that are capable of taking their time. So many movies move at breakneck speeds. The plot is really cool to me as well.

Otherwise, yes, it's not surprising that a modern audience finds this incredibly boring for all the points above.

There was planetary annihilation

Everything I researched was entirely focused on gas stoves being unhealthy, which seems to be the major issue.

Propane doesn't seem to show up in a general search on this topic, and the carbon monoxide levels from mine didnt seem to go up while in use. So I believe it's not as bad or even has the same problems.

That being said.. I think we can also generalize that burning solid fuel in the open inside your house is probably a bad idea.

I also hate open flame stoves for cooking they suck and I'll fight you on that. I'm extremely interested in getting this propane stove replaced with induction.

They fly now??

Finally

All hail the king of the Internet, Big Money

Eh I just hired someone to do mine. Got me off oil. The rebates offered helped

Iirc the only main downside to all these apps is that you get a single answer, when it's usually more complex than that.

Seek/iNaturalist are great. I prefer the report style of iNaturalist and how it gives me a list of options, which I can use to try and narrow it down.

E.g. if I take a pic of a flower that looks like a dandelion, it could be a common dandelion, or hawkweed, or burnweed.. and of those there are a dozen sub species. Knowing which one is native is really important.

Tldr yes

Where's the modded one? It's like drugs, give me modded Minecraft, my body demands it

Thunderdome is fun. But ranking it above fury road is a choice

Bless the op and his duneposting, bless the coming and going of them. May their memes cleanse this comment section.

I think ff7 also was "the" final fantasy game people played and think back to.

But ff6 has a dope soundtrack. Like when you lift off in the falcon for the first time.

Video icon has giant red text saying "NOBODY SURVIVES". Open with Tom Scott standing at a gate to the Chernobyl exclusion zone

"Today I'm here to talk to you about something dark, something that has produced so much pain, something that decays life itself. Me standing in Chernobyl actually has nothing to do with it, because pulls up a laptop showing a game I'm referring to League of Legends"

Holy shit he's the voice for clay face???

The movement mechanics in dread are definitely the absolute best we've gotten out of a Metroid game. I love my super Metroid and all, but let's not pretend it's controls feel... Dated

Aren't those ghost cities now mostly filled with people?

It is classic Nintendo, to have some annoying awkward system for a thing that has been already done well for years.

I recall being baffled by the Wii friend code system when Xbox live was so clearly better in every way

ITS HIM! GET HIM!!!!

Well kudos to you, I certainly have never finished any of these damn games without cheats, so freakin difficult

Excluding Dexter Jexter of course

I wonder how much you could save with a heat pump water heater

Welcome!

What if you let it mellow instead? Wouldn't be so wasteful then huh? What now sink pisser??

Palatine's here, now stop asking questions and put popcorn in your mouth!

Rip rif

Thank fuck for polar being in the clear since I subsist almost entirely on polar seltzer

Yeah can't stop the weeds. Nature is gonna grow and you can't stop it. Better to plant native plants and let them bunch up, less to maintain once established

Just boot up a modpack, that will max out all resources for a solid 10 minutes during launcher startup

Plus it had a sick title track

Zabinka.

Even Skyfall??
