A fire extinguisher can be found for less than 100 USD and is a must-have. A smoke detector is also a bare minimum in my opinion.

My first thought when I saw that was "I'm home, I've found my place". Man I just love lemmy and its community

Long live Lemmy!

Probably "sluta vara en så lagom rolig person". It isn't directly an insult. However, it's not something you would love to hear. It translates to "stop being a person who has the just right amount of fun".

Another thing my friends say when they are med is: "Din jävla ångvält!" which translates to "You fucking steamroller!".
It just sounds much better in Swedish.

No, it is actually GNU/Linux+Steam 😒🤓

(Please don't take this comment seriously, it's a joke)

Petal Maps/Google Maps And Waze navigation.

Petal is my favourite, it has some features that google and Waze don't have, like free drive mode. The open-source map alternatives unfortunately dosn't even come close. And being able to have the navigation app on half the screen and Spotify/Jellyfin on the bottom half is just golden.

I know that the CCP owns Petal, and I'm not proud of using it, but the experience is great. Google is also ass when it comes to privacy, but being able to quickly check the reviews of nearby restaurants/parks is amazing.

Waze isn't great either, but checking if there are any traffic jams before jumping in the car is also cool. (I know that both Google and Petal have this feature but Waze is just superior).

Additionally, I haven't found a Bluetooth tracking alternative to Tile.

Skellefteå is the Alabama for Sweden, and most of Noway and Denmark too. However, for the whole Nordics, we have Iceland. The whole country of Iceland.

What do you think of Marcus?

I've been to some places where smoke detectors aren't required by law (or places where it is required by law but there isn't anyone to enforce it). It's weird AF.

I apologize if I was unclear in the first message

As a Swede, I usually get well above 3 Mbit/s on 3G, and I have a 100/100 Mbit/s fiber that I often use to its full potential, and that's with a VPN on. I really thought Germany had better infrastructure.

Quick question, what do you think of Gayazov Brothers?

I originally joined lemmy via lemmy.fmhy.ml, 'cause you know, my "Linux ISO's" needs to get well distributed.

However, they got in trouble and I like Lemmy, so I started looking for other instances. Eventually, I found monero.town and since I already use monero.social as my matrix home, I signed up for it.

Never encountered any problems with it. The devs also seem pretty cool.

I'm here!

However, I can't seem to create communities that are missing from lemmy. Maybe an instance problem?

Feint, Matt Large, and especially Gregory David are awesome.

Additionally, Bernth is really cool if you like guitar.

Fellow Swede here; may I please ask what mobile operator you use? I pay around $25 for 16 gigabytes from Vimla

But isn't Texas 'Merican?

The EU is quite awesome, eh? They are so nice! (/s)
