Regressive states should be boycotted too but fortunately the right to marriage has not been eroded in any state yet, although they are trying.

There's a huge number of people out there who are fed up with both parties and see those parties as equally (or near enough) bad. He's appealing to those who dislike Trump and Biden. Don't underestimate his ability to play spoiler to one of them.

No one deserves to be raped and murdered in prison. The justice system is far from perfect but we don't sentence people to be raped and then murdered. We do rarely sentence people to death, but not by vigilante shanking or beating.

I'm sure it is traumatic but that denial doesn't relieve him of legal responsibility. Negligence that leads to death is often prosecuted criminally.

I don't have numbers but I think reddit is much bigger than digg ever was. I agree though that Lemmy/Kbin servers need their own identity beyond just grumbling about reddit. That's why I don't upvote this kind of post. It's better to just move on and create new communities here.

Excuse my ignorance, but how do you define a difference between "man" and "masculinity"? Is it just how you see yourself? Like you might present as fem but think of yourself as a man, or present as masc but think of yourself as a woman?
