How the hell do republican women even exist not to mention all the republican women in government. Does none of these affect them or are they always pregnant?

Tongue popping at every few atrocities is nice and all but we're still waiting on proper sanctions. Grow a backbone, ask the college kids if you don't know how.

I never liked Biden since the Obama years and I now hate him quite a bit. Sadly voting for him at this point is simply necessary, because if I am not in a good enough state to survive then I cannot support the Palestinians nor Ukrainians.

MFW I'm so straight that the line went straight from my dick and around the world into my butt, and now I'm gay

And still is, it shouldn't be this way. Stop Killing Games really needs to take off.

I feel bad for The Onion, their job just keeps getting harder & harder. They should probably switch their business to fortune-telling.

The problem with this reasoning is that many of the popular communities are actually on lemmy.ml, and they’re not so easy to replace.

Very true, I saw a post about censorship posted on !mildlyinfuriating@lemmy.world that happened in !comics@lemmy.ml (instead of another instance with the same subject community) possibly because of this reason OP mentioned. This complaint post was also deleted from the community because it was violating the rules which I suppose it was since this was the reason:

The title of the post in the picture above was the reason given by the comics mod:

My unpopular opinion however is that simply de-federating won't help as it just promotes those instances into becoming louder echo chambers. I think the simpler solution would be to have a dedicated community for mod abuse (I'm aware of !modabuse@lemmy.world but .world blocked /c/piracy so...) , so users can be aware of said issues and create or migrate to different communities as we see fit. Besides, users can simply block entire instances for themselves. Please don't comment on the paradox of tolerance as I just mentioned blocking for oneself already.

P.S.

Devs please make it easier to browse the modlog, having to press the next button is bafflingly tedious. I had to resort to editing the url to browse faster, add a jump to by time/date or something.

“sex work” is an unskilled job.

I can't believe I'm having to suggest this to someone... please actually go visit a brothel. Vanilla sex between couples are usually more passion focused so they won't have to give much attention on any particular sex move.

Sex workers however have to use their finesse to satisfy you because there was never any attraction or intimacy between either of you thus no passion to excite either of you. Just ask them to take the lead and find out.

Reactionary:relating to, marked by, or favoring reaction especially : ultraconservative in politics

Your takes are reactionary in a sociopolitical lens. Words can have more than one meaning.

The amount of time and effort needed to go through an Arch installation and succeeding probably is more therapeutic than paying $100 for a session of therapy. It's enough to make them finally come out after all 🤷

They're distracted by the bush.

Agreed.

For people who wish to know which instances are federated/defederated with Threads check here https://fedipact.veganism.social/

Saying such things makes them call you anti-Semitic. Even though you are supporting Bernie, a jewish man who is also calling for an end to this slaughter.

Americans hate this one Swede trick.

I don't know if I should be happy or sad. On one hand officials actually taking a stand against injustice, and on the other the only people who actually gives a shit about the good and will of the people are leaving being fired.

Customers will notice the change on their next bill. Netflix has quietly put up its prices across each subscription tier in Australia.

Why is this even legal, oh who am I kidding lobbying most likely. They began notifying people on May 13. Thanks for the correction @blindsight@beehaw.org.

^This is for anyone who doesn't know, click on the web button in the "More" drop down list after making a search to get the old style search results instead of the new ones. People mentioned this in the thread earlier so I thought I'd make it clear.

Rules for thee but not for me

Oh for FCK's sake...

When most people have to worry about their rent & food everyday of their life while working for ludicrous amounts of time every week, having a family or relationships in general just look like more expenses for the individual. It's not an issue only men face either.

Someone check the Thoughts and prayers counter, it must be raking in lots of pro-lifer support by now.

At best it'll create another spin-off like the hundreds that already exist on the app/play stores.

We don't have to think hard as it actually is a bipartisan issue. Their lifestyles are now harder to track by us so it helps both party's and their sugar daddies/mommies.

Use sonar loud enough and it'll kill or at least damage pretty much every marine life it reaches, so humans win the battle. But lose the war because us winning just means mutually assured destruction.

They're also quite loud, and violent too.

As it happened with Khashoggi and the same with Daphne and the list will always keep going on & on while we imagine hearing the clink of more glasses after.

They're also federated with threads so I wouldn't be surprised at all. I'm a fool for sticking around in there as long as I have.

Same energy

I'm doing the same, I rarely ever have to use it unless compelled to by work or simply a lazy site with less compatibility for anything beyond google.

For anyone who wants to try here you go.

I'll huff the copium and assume it's good that we're not all just a hive mind.

Why the fuck would I mean explosives, did you think by kill I meant their heads would explode? Most marine life depend on sounds more than us as such have more sensitive hearing which get disrupted and damaged more easily because of it by the sounds we make, especially sonar.

Although all soulslikes are a bit difficult Grime would be my suggestion, a 2D platformer. It felt easy enough to me but I mainly enjoyed the aesthetics of it.

I didn't want to mention him as he wasn't a heroic whistle blower but a criminal with a testimonial, but yes I agree even he wasn't spared by his fellow posh.

I agree with your take on the corpo dystopia issue and would prefer other solutions instead of this but the sort of patients being served definitely need some significant support.

Mutahar made a video about this that gives us a rough outline of where we are at with this technology, and I agree with his opinion about using eye trackers instead of brain implants for the sort of feature they seem to provide.

I've got some bad news for you mate...

The reticulated python is the longest snake in the world, according to London's Natural History Museum. They are native to Southern Asia and can grow to be more than 20 feet long.

The longest reticulated python ever found in the wild was discovered in 1912, according to the museum, and was measured to be nearly 33 feet long – "more than half the length of a bowling lane and makes this snake longer than a giraffe is tall."

Zoo Atlanta, which houses reticulated pythons, says the snakes "have a reputation for being aggressive."

The snakes are occasionally kept as pets in the U.S.

Last year, a 14-foot-long reticulated python was found dead on side of the road on Long Island, prompting a search for its owner.

In 2022, a 16-foot albino reticulated python that slithered through a Texas neighborhood for months was finally rescued and returned to its owner.
