It's almost like there is an AstroTurfed campaign to get people to lose confidence in electric vehicles by talking about batteries, even though most first generation Prius batteries are doing just fine.

Sir, this is apple.

Gotta buy their apple 5 point screwdriver

Open back

Remove adhesive & battery

Dismount motherboard and keyboard

Find out it's soldered ram

Kill self

Police officer: yes.

Fireman: no.

Electric heat is not always 99.9% efficient, resistive heating is.

Heat pumps are more than 100% efficient(compared to resistive heating)

It's not bs, because we are moving heat, not creating it. You thinking it is bullshit will not change the laws of thermodynamics. Try to think about it this way.

"Cold" is a made up human concept, it really is a lack of heat energy. The coldest is 0K, but even a Midwest winter is waaaaaay above that. Heat pumps (and all refrigerant-based systems) work by changing the phase of the refrigerant from liquid to gas to cool, or by compressing a gas to a liquid. This phase change takes energy from the surrounding air (think about computer duster, the can gets cold) and then pipes it inside, where it can be compressed to release the heat it just picked up from outside. In the summer you flip the reverse switch to cool your house.

Here is an explanation from someone much more eloquent than myself:https://youtu.be/7J52mDjZzto?si=sYlNlpvGnJs16lwk

Shitty econboxes don't exist anymore

You can make a fireable shotgun out of like 15$ of pipe fittings

Why are you arguing on behalf of a company? Why use the word unlimited if it is not unlimited?

No, they decided both were bad. It wasn't until 1935 that male nips were legal to open-carry

I absolutely think biden's too old, but in this specific clip it kind of seems like he is making fun of Trump's "I am the least racist person ever" response.

I bought a 2002 Honda insight. One of the first hybrids, except the electric motor went out, so it's all gas now. Still got slapped with an extra $150 so called "hybrid tax" so the state can subsidize a lower usage of gas that they would have received tax on. Literally incentivizes gasoline vehicles. What the fuck?

Well considering the last slave (coerced labor) was freed in the 1940s, it's still extremely recent. These are people's grandparents and great-grandparents. The velocity of money is very real.

Nope, still a privacy nightmare

You can get more torque on a torx than an Allen. They're basically the same shape, but torx has longer contacts on the star points where the hex corners would be.

You are cringe lmfao

Don't have kids then. Much more free time.

I don't understand

  1. Making the deliberate choice of having kids
  2. Complaining about missing out on other things because of said kids

You aren't crazy, but barring any defects or damage this shouldn't be happening

Why would you need to regulate the usage of an unlimited service? Aren't you paying for the luxury of not having to regulate yourself to a fixed limit?

Look at a close up of moss. It looks like a forest.

Further,

Look at cells, just groups of proteins. Look at organs, just groups of cells. Look at organisms. Just groups of organs. Look at societies, just groups of organisms. Each step is constituted of building blocks of another. The universe is a self organizing system of complexity. I've bored my friends with this theory under the influence of THC but I finally feel vindicated.

How so?

I have 32tb, bit overkill 8 tb HDD ~$180 X4= $720

Netflix (no ads) 22.99 22.99/720=31.3

As long as you use it for 3 or so years, it pays for itself. The only difference is you have both the hardware and the movies forever.

I work in IT at a fitness center and we have TVs in front of the treadmills. They are not enterprise TVs, just standard Samsung TVs. Above the treadmills, we have a conference room. After setting up a conference room with wireless screen sharing, I found that all of the TV's below show up when trying to cast. Obviously I tried to disable them, but there is no way to do so outside of physically ripping out the antenna. I called support and everything. Why the fuck was that decision made

Samsung Dex could literally replace your work machine then if that's all you use

What's that?

How do you steal something that is infinitely reproducible?

If you have an apple and I steal it, you cannot eat the apple.

If you have a movie, I can copy it and you can still watch it.

Say for instance, there was a magic apple machine that copied apples infinitely with zero loss. If not intentionally destroyed, access to this machine would be restricted by the first party with enough capital to acquire and protect it. Using the machine to copy apples would also be considered stealing.

No? There are still plenty of vehicles without automatic lights. I own 4 cars and none of them have auto lights.

None of this is profitable if you can meet demand power at will either.

It's just a scarcity game that those in power use to keep things ticking along.

What is infrastructure to most, is a tuned revenue machine to a very few.

The purpose of a system can be determined by its output, and it's working quite well in that aspect.

Leading thory right now is that they transported themselves to another plane of oblivion using tonal manipulation.

Midwest. I hear people say reck-ig-nize here.

Gen1 Honda insight here to corroborate. Trucks seem to intentionally pull in front of me, even when driving reasonably above the limit, just to prove a point. It's dumb.

Zero Roe, but that was more to do with the supreme Court lol

CPU aside, it's best to wait for thunderbolt 5 to mature. Might finally be able to go to using one device for travel and an eGPU for gaming.

Spax torx?

But then you have to deal with driving a ford.

Unless the dude is saying only film should be admissible, which doesn't sound all that bad.

I drive a Honda insight which is a 3 cylinder 1L. Most car guys do not care about something so small but I think it's very interesting that it was designed for such a specific purpose, and works quite well

I didn't know it was done. I can't wait for the sequel

Yoo 2002 insight here

I was taxed an extra $150 to register a 2002 Honda Insight last year. It was for a "Hybrid Tax" because hybrid owners buy less gas and therefore are paying less tax on gasoline. Like, that's the whole point of driving a small car!
