What's going to be infuriating is when the killing starts, so many people will act like this was unavoidable.

Remember being gaslit in 2016?

Ehh he won't be here to see most of it. Why does he care.

That makes sense. Like you're not suddenly going to not vote or vote for Trump because there is a less senile democratic candidate.

This is just Doom posting. The opinion was terrible and a major threat to democracy, but Robert specifically calls out a candidate running for presidency as an example of a "private act."

Biden has a 37% approval rating, and the most common reason for voting for him is "he's not trump".

I honestly hadn't considered this point.

These two comments sum up the dilemma

Per logic. Per fedsoc, yes, those were official acts. Baby Donnie's first shit was an official act.

Making policy and political discussion a faux pas was a brilliant way to destroy democracy.

How can an illegall act be an official act? Isn't this basically saying that if the president does it, it's not illegal? They're speaking out of both sides of their mouths.

No. You can say oh fuck now.

You can't just vote for an alternate candidate. That's a non-viable strategy. In a fptp system (and one that requires owner money) ,you are reliant on party leadership to put forth worthwhile candidates. Democrats should have started grooming the heir apparent on Jan 21, 2020.

The legal profession is self-regulated.

Oh, I completely agree. This is way too complicated to fit into simple comment chains. There will be books upon books about this (assuming we're still allowed to write books in the future).

Did somebody say trust busting?

Thank you for this post. I was just scrolling by and wouldn't have understood those comments unless I saw your post.

Man, if only we knew he was old a shit 4 years ago so we could start planning for this then. Oh well, I guess hindsight is 2020.

Laughs in electoral college

Watt are you even talking about?

So do I.

I'm honestly concerned about this. No need for most people if you can just build your own labor.

Who wants to make a trauma triage for tots nonprofit with me? We can gather former military medics to volunteer their time to teach kindergartners how to triage traumatic injuries and gunshot wounds. This could save lives people!

Just imagine, little Timmy could bleed out if we don't teach little Sophia how to properly apply a tourniquet!

Writing is not similar to walking. It's more like cursive. Perhaps writing every word will seem old fashioned someday?

While it does sound cool to say my car has 490 NSU, I think horsepower is still cooler. Horses are cool.

Writing allows you to devote more of your mental faculties to other things. Couldn't the same be true of AI-assisted writing?

Just because an idea is new/old doesn't mean it's good/bad

This is the point I'm trying to make (but apparently not very well)!

They is not a monolith.

Funny enough, this used to be an argument made against relying on writing.

Trump is the Dems fault... So much for the party of personal responsibility.
