I play vanilla java MC 1.20.1 on Steam Deck, no big problems with controller support (at least with prism launcher) Just the default keybinds are a bit shit, and there is no prev/next-item-key so you have to awkwardly scroll trough with the touchpads which is a bit meh during combat.
But I guess with a bit practice it's totally playable (I recommend peaceful to get used to the settings, tho)
If your addicted to this shit and you can take a lethal dose and just wake up a few days later, i guess your tolerance would grow high significantly fast, and with that the costs.

In my case:
feddit.de didn't update and as soon as I switched to another account I couldn't login again
So I created one on shitjustworks. (which ended up with the same problem, but I wouldn't want to have a third sfw-account so I just waited until it resolved)
And I wouldn't be surprised if there was another old account of mine on feddit.de from a time where lemmy was just this weird thing some people in r/berlin linked to
I recently ate a burger king vegetarian (or vegan, I don't remember) burger and it was surprisingly good. I eat meat almost every day, so I can compare: it was quite a bit better than I expected from a fast food place.
At this point I don't even see the point in going back to eating meat all the time. Replacements have come such a long way.

I wanted to add: As a meat-eater I was really surprised how good it tastes. And surprisingly it satisfies my hunger way better than expected.
I can also say: The veggie-nuggets from the golden arches are good as well
