You really gotta count how many cheap boat Ukrainians lost trying to sink 60 ships. Ofc they (suicide boats) are much, much, much cheaper and cause no crew casualties being remotely controlled. So it is super cost effective, And most importantly safe, but if you count pure numbers i am sure Ukrainian losses of those boats are massively higher.

But the fact that russians can still use their missles ships to launch missiles is a big issue. Even if there are fewer of those ships, its not 0 :(... Yet

Imagine abrams have different behaviours and buttons to press to what these chaps are used to. Different weight class, handling, aiming, reloading, maintenance. You don't need tank v tank combat experience to educate people who don't necessarily speak English fluently which button does what, where it is and when/how to use tank gadgets so it goes into muscle memory because i donno about you, but if someone starts shooting me out of a tank i am very likely to piss myself. Its better they learn muscle memory of where what is in those tanks to be effective and hopefully soon we can see these chaps rolling into Crimea.

If they were failing so badly, Ukraine would have regained its territory including Crimea by now. While we all want Ukraine to succeed and win, you have to be realistic, how ever badly the orcs are doing, they are still in Ukraine and are very slowly pushing westwards on some fronts.

Lets be realistic and keep giving Ukraine the ammunition, arms and tools they need to push the orcs out instead of just calling them stupid and incompetent. That doesn't help Ukraine to win.

If you don't want to be called there to always it support it, go for off the shelf solution. Both qnap and Synology offer the same. When i looked half a year ago, i saw Synology as being more expensive at the time so went with ts464 qnap.

Qnap do provide a roadmap of support for older devices. So you have an idea how long they will remain supported for.

I'd advise against it if purely for ease of life in your new home country. Some, like UK require you to still have dealings with your previous country.

For example if i want to change my surname to my wifes name, home office demanded that i change the surname in my original passport first. They even say that if you need to physically go to your country of origin to do so, you have to unless they will kill you (for example persecution of LGBT). But i donno what kind of proof they would need to support this claim.

I have a strong suspicion that "burned my passport as a statement" would not qualify, even if it means supporting a terrorist state with cash (because consular services are paid by cash in 3rd world countries.)

Not convinced that its as simple as that, there was an article about a Ukrainian general or some high level commander who mentioned that they need at least 100 aircraft to get air superiority. I image in reality they need alot more as there likely to be losses (orcs are likely keeping some long range missiles in reserve to whack at Ukrainian airfields after f16s arrive), but also they need correct ammunition.. loads of ammunition.

We should have gone into ammunition production overdrive as soon as it became clear that there was an attack plan brewing instead of waiting until the attack actually happens.
