that pump and dump scheme just needs to wrap up and fail. they failed their user base and then wondered why people left in droves. The poster boys for PFOF. needs to be banned everywhere.

Less hate, more love.

if you are comfortable running python scripts: https://github.com/andreblue/doc-breaker I also have many many more word lists. I'd be happy to give it a shot if the contents are not too sensitive.

can't read it the without the ad blocker disabled. another site on the blocked forever list.

positive outcome, it was misleading at best and causing people to be given poor grades or employment issues at worst. I'm sure others here tried to use it, I found it couldn't detect raw chatgpt 3.5 copy and pasted. it was worse when I asked it to use British English etc.

if we (re)build it. they will come. these new iterations should be community driven and without a board or CEO to discuss the idea with.

I wish more of the apps let you enter a custom server URL which would encourage this aspect of the fediverse. I currently use connect for lemmy, its great but only has 3 static server options.

correct, am Australian. The mushrooms are called death cap here which are poisonous. they were used in a mea and it's suspected to be a deliberate poisoning. nothing recreational or accidental here, just the same usual shit that can kill you in Australia :)

cupcake? biscuit? the joining day. it's ok to celebrate happy similarities. May the rest of your day be filled with joy.

probably going to be different across servers (haven't confirmed) but many are using pictrs as part of Lemmy for image management. you can configure the details on how and at what quality they are stored. git is here: https://git.asonix.dog/asonix/pict-rs

it's already there. 'remove ads' button. steep given you can get Microsoft Office for that price if you look hard enough but I will probably get it.

have you updated deluge to the latest? many trackers block older versions so you have to keep it current.

cheers, set this up and it's solid.

2.1.1 is the latest. I think that should be your next step. not sure how you installed it, but the process should be quick be it in windows. Docker or Linux.

if terf isn't a slur, Normie isn't either. people seem to get irrationally upset about the word normal. normal is a well defined word, the same way cis is but it seems one group is fine with one whilst the other isn't.

instead of focusing on labels and how much they upset you (I don't mean who I am replying to), focus on understanding and respecting people's differences, regardless of terminology.

people should just block Federation from "Lemmy.management" to start with. one less activitypub abuser.

a cut of every single transactional fee on the platform and in some cases a cut of the transaction. that's all before being able to media mogul the narrative.

this is the correct answer, someone listed it as a feature request or bug on GitHub https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3448 but I'm not sure what the long term answer is.

I do agree though that is lends itself to encouraging people to larger instances which isn't really the spirit of Lemmy.

agreed, this is great. Updates keep flowing. A visual separator between posts in amoled mode would be nice but its excellent. Devs should start charging for these already. At least in the settings you can 'buymeacoffee' for connect.
