Damn straight queer.

I'm just your run-of-the-mill white cismale dude, but I know several trans people in real life including an old friend of mine and a 7-year-old kid across the street from me. Everyone deserves respect and dignity of life.

Half those people are news media

According to Russia, anyone critical or in opposition to Russia is a Nazi.

I hope I followed the rules correctly, this is the first serious attempt to post a news article while following the sub guidelines.

Also, as someone who is married to a school librarian, this is incredibly fucked.

Sounds like the workers all want to end up with highly valued stocks when it goes IPO. Which is, and I'm just guessing here, the only reason anyone is doing AI right now.

Your friend is da real mvp

Reminds me of early days of Linux.

You should ditch windows and switch to Linux! It has everything!

What I can I do on it?

You can compile your own kernel!

....

This is the same guy who had the Nazi campaign video posted on his campaign website? Just checking

But they actually are... Down in Miami, wealthy people are fleeing the beachfront property and buying up housing where all the poor people live, which also happens to be further from the beach. There have been a number of documentaries and news segments on this trend which you can easily find on YouTube.

I'm pretty sure that these idiots who wrote this will only be happy once everyone in this country is miserable and dead. They hate everything about this country.

TL;DR: X’s rate increases are costing the service about ¥6 million per month. As that is very expensive, they would rather spend their money developing their own platform and using a free social media platform to disseminate information.

”…move our operations onto different platforms will eventually only result in the same outcome as this time and therefore will not be considered.”

The military isn't just allowed to buy up land willy nilly without oversight and direction from civilian officials. Do you remember when Clinton closed hundreds and thousands of military sites back in the '90s?

So they don't really get to decide on basic expansions solely within the military. And generally speaking, the military doesn't spend unnecessary money to expand military bases and provide a buffer zone around land that isn't used for bombing ranges and whatnot. Travis appears to be just a typical Air Force air base with a couple of runways.

However, these articles point toward other very shady acts going on including the proposed 400 ft tall observation Tower to oversee the airbase. Why would a farming operation or a land investor want an observation tower to overlook an Air Force Base?

This is exactly what he envisionied "X.com" to be back in like 1999... jesus christ, doods having a midlife crisis.

Par for the course for the Trump administration.

Paul Manafort was known by his daughters to force his wife to have sex with Russian Mafia and be gangbanged by other people.

"Brown, a former NYPD captain, noted police are obligated to take a report no matter where the crime occurred and that forcing crime victims to return to where they were attacked is traumatizing. The NYPD said Adams told the 911 dispatcher she would go to the scene, suggesting she voluntarily offered to do so."

"Regardless, when Adams went back to the grocery and called for police from there, it took officers four hours to show up, she said. The officers, she said, appeared to know the attacker, referring to him as “Mr. Fourth of July.”'

My grandfather got really into video archiving and from the early 80s through 2005 amassed about 14,000 video tapes, mostly of various aviation TV shows. He spent his entire life as an engineer for Lockheed. His entire 2-story condo in San Diego was a massive VHS library with shelving extending 8 ft high.

Anyways, my father and aunt threw it all in a dumpster because they didn't know what to do with it. All they kept were his ashes.... Which almost 20 years later are still sitting on a bookshelf somewhere

I remember reading The Foundtainhead and, when I finished I realized what a lousy, shitty philosopher Ayn Rand was.

And that all my architect friends had terrible egos.

They all want to become millionaires. Think IPO.

You're right; 2/3 of worldwide energy is actually waste heat.

image

https://www.businessinsider.com/most-energy-still-comes-from-oil-2015-10

Here's the chart from 2007: Waste heat / losses are in the top right, although it doesn't show the transport sector losses which are higher than for coal generation.

image

What this means is that when we fully electrify all sectors, by using renewable energy such as wind and solar, our total energy generation capacity will only need to be about 1/3 to 1/4 of what we currently produce today to fulfill our current energy needs. That's huge.

Wow. This is worse than George Bush Jr!

When I was first teaching my son the alphabet, we got to “W” and, before I could say it, he called it “two vees!” It was so cute.

It's not, and TOS are not legally binding either

Reddit used to have a whole separate called /r/HermanCainawards that posted COVID Darwin award winners.

It was brutal but honestly the recipients all earned it.

They're still really sad when Obama took all their guns back in 2012. That's why Republicans are so insecure, because they don't have any guns! The government took them all. I think they sent them to Mexico, or something.

Right??

The supreme Court was quoting 12th century English common law in support for the abolition of roe versus Wade, if that tells you anything.

Also they want to "increase the supply of toddlers infants" for the domestic US adoption industry, which was also in Alitos opinion.

And, you know what they say about opinions...

Well Mr Aldean did choose a stunningly iconic shooting location for the video. As the Washington Post reported:

Aldean’s performance backdrop is the Maury County Courthouse, which at times appears to be on fire as images of burning American flags are projected onto it. It’s the same building where a mob hanged 18-year-old Henry Choate from the balcony in 1927. The teen had been accused of attacking a White girl who never identified him as her assailant, and whose mother begged the mob to let him stand trial.

Columbia is also the site of an infamous 1946 race riot that nearly resulted in the lynching of future Supreme Court justice Thurgood Marshall.

The footage he used in the video seems to equate civil rights protesting as violent crime and rioting, in in the judicial use of footage from these types of events that are juxtaposed to each other in his music video.

The video itself is a little silly in that small towns are not responsible for civil rights movements as they are inherently a very conservative environment, that does not foster independent thought. Surprise surprise. However, the video has a very pro conservative tone that implies that protesting will be met by violence.

I couldn't get myself to watch it, so it actually went well for Harris?

Wait, you think that a New York real estate developer who made his money in the 1980s and '90s isn't part of the mob?

Boy do I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you...

Oh God yes, and it is reflected in my own family members who are all in their 70s. They strongly believe that a 70 or 80 year old is in "the prime of their life" and that "I have never been of sharper mind and more capable than at the age of 74."

Just totally delusional. "Me" generation indeed.

That didn't take long...

None of my genx friends would agree with you. They are all professional wage slaves and still can't get a promotion because their 75 year old bosses refuse to retire.

From Switzerland: "Depending on the type of weapon, you will require a sales contract, a weapon acquisition permit or an exemption permit."

Semi-automatic weapons require a permit, and fully automatic weapons and firearms with large capacity magazines are banned and only allowed under special, petition able circumstamces.

--

For military service issued weapons: The Swiss don't allow their citizens access to ammunition (they used to issue a single magazine IIRC), all weapons are only distributed based on compulsory military service, and are to remain locked away except for when transported to the firing range for your annual qualification or practice.

Also, I do t think they allow swiss to keep their rifles anymore; I believe they are currently stored in the armory.

It's because people like this around themselves with a cadre of yes men. Apparently Elon is known to have a large group of Tesla and SpaceX groupies essentially. To use them to replace key positions at X.

The thing is, Argentina has never had the Falkland Islands. The British discovered them first.
