Reminds me of the days of StumbleUpon, good times on the internet back then
Better yet, use docker so the torrent client doesn't even know other network interfaces exist
Any invites? I have TorrentLeech but would like to add another
Boost for Lemmy
Anecdote time: I was just in Yorkshire (first time in England) heard about the idea of public footpaths so we found one, walked it and had a picnic. Loved every second, ended up going through a sheep field then a cow field. Can't wait to go back
Plex Amp is by far the best
Works great with PIA, highly recommend
I run Dietpi on 3 PIs, one is a remote backup that is wireguarded into my network and my server runs BorgBackup to it
Do what you can to make this the place you want to be.
Wireguard is super quick and easy to setup and use, I'd highly recommend to do that now. I don't understand the recent obsession with Tailscale apart from bypassing cgNAT
Immich without a doubt
Pretty much, strange in the self-hosted community to have stuff like that happen.
I think its a network thing, that one works fine for me but I have had intermittent problems with others
Alton Brown/Good Eats
Adam Ragusea
I don't necessarily use them for specific recipes but they are detailed and explain why they like doing things a certain way. I think that is the biggest thing when you are learning to cook and not just follow recipes.
I'd also put Ann Reardon/How to Cook That in a similar spot but more geared toward baking.
Off the shelf something like and EdgerouterX is great,
I love it, it's so nice for quickly jumping between apps
Yes 100% an option for both
Immich is so good. I love it
Hmm weird, I have 1500 some tracka without issue. Is yr metadata on an SSD? I'm not really sure how it sync the metadata but I figure having it on an HDD would cause issues
I run Openmediavault and I backup using BorgBackup. Super easy to setup, use, and modify
I'm with you there
You could consider running Crowdsec as well on yr firewall that way known bots will be blocked
Yup I sure do
No
Considering when I use the radio in the car I might get 2 songs before 5 minus of commercials, no thanks. Audiobooks, podcasts, and PlexAmp all the way
