I have this concept for a VR team battle game where you have to learn to actually cast spells through complex real time action. Like a mix of moving your hands in patterns and adding elements via hot bar in sequence and saying words via headphone. 1 on 1 or team vs team strategy game where complexity makes stronger team spells and counters. You could have casters who specialize in defense, offense, healers, traps and counters and how you build your team makes for strengths and weaknesses.

In the Pacific Northwest I’ve had visitors get really excited to see slugs.

Gods are literally just a psychological comfort blanket to explain the unexplainable. Most religious people don’t put that much thought into what they believe, challenging concepts are just tucked nicely away in the “Gods will” box and they move on. I think everyone copes with those brain shattering concepts in their own creative way or risk getting buried alive in anxiety.

Fedor Emelianenko always looked frumpy compared to everyone he fought. That was the last thing most people thought before they woke up from hard reboot anyway.

It’s the social mindset shift that’s important. Start doing things to change, no matter how small, and everything builds from there. Just do something.

Every damn time I type “for”, it auto corrects to “fir”. I’m about to blow a gasket.

Quokkas win as far as cutest and chillest animals to bless this planet. Quokkas should be everyone’s spirit animal.

Dave the diver. This is such a fun game, it’s hard to explain. Simple concept dive for fish and run a sushi joint. Somehow it’s managed to become all games in one and every angle of play is well thought out. The diving part is part shooter/adventure/exploration/rpg. The Sushi joint aspect is collector/rts/management simulator. The animations are top notch as well. I can’t recommend it enough.

Turd Ferguson is forever etched in my brain.

First game I ever played was on those 8” floppies. It was a turtle game where you would type in DOS commands and make it move. I can’t remember the command prompts but it was fun enter like forward 1000 and it would blast across the screen.

Drakan: Ancient Gates was my inspiration. Their magic casting blew my mind back in the day and I never understood why no one else has utilized that system. I will have to check out Arx Fatalis.

Doom Scroll - Immoral Compass

Mr Gnome - The day you flew away

Jonathan Wilson - Eat the worm

Viagra Boys - Cave world

Wet leg - Wet leg

Chet Faker - Hotel surrender

Igorrr - spirituality and distortion

Amigo the Devil- yours until the war is over

Out of orbit - OOO

I could go on.

I wonder if someone could outperform a Stenographer with a chorded?

Drakan series needs reboot. I played Drakan; Ancient gates. That game was so much fun. The seamless transition from fighting on a dragon to fighting on your feet. The next level spell casting where you had to trace out the symbol to cast. The lore felt really deep like there was a lot of secrets they never fleshed out and ever since I’ve had an itch that never got scratched.

That’s it! Ha ha wow haven’t seen that since elementary school.

Tarsem Singhs “The Fall”

It is still to this day the most powerful piece of art I’ve seen. I wish I could recreate that experience. I still remember thinking, at about a quarter of the movie through, that this was the best movie I’ve ever seen, and it got better and better. The theater was packed, everyone there was completely drawn into the movie and you could feel the room sharing emotions, it was powerful enough, here almost 20 years later, I can still feel that connection.

Kinshi is such a deep game. I get how it’s hard to get into but damn once it clicks it’s crazy how far down the rabbit hole that game goes.

I was at around 55 hrs during endgame, which was finishing the main story line after doing most of the side quests. I think I had 1 main base with 10 - 20 buildings and equipment. I was playing on a series S. I am boggled you didn’t have many crashes, I’ve seen hundreds of reports of similar issues when I was trying to figure out what was going on.

Doesn’t matter. It’s got influences of all sorts of good things. Psychedelic rock, prog, punk, metal, stoner. Reminds of QOTSA experimental flow and layering but more punk and metal influence than desert blues. It’s got 90’s punk style vocals and punk influenced drums. It slaps!

+1 for huckleberries. Especially plucked off the bush in the middle of a PNW alpine hike.

Endgame was brutal. It was a 50/50 chance if you paused to save while moving it would crash.

Not sure if this is what you were looking for, but this song is a masterpiece of horror manifest through audio. In fact the whole album is a piece of art, troubling and dark but so well crafted.

I don’t work in the industry and I could be way off here. But aren’t some of the developers hired on as a type of contract worker to finish a big game and well aware that if the next project isn’t lined up perfectly, it’s impossible to house that many employees. That’s how our construction industry is. Companies have to hire on and then trim the fat as needed.

I think there is a big piece missing if we want to make lasting change. Protests should be the first part and we have missed many opportunities by skipping the second part. Challenging the legality of the issues in court. The MLK jr. movements were so powerful because they changed the laws. In many cases they “got arrested” on purpose and then challenged the legality of the issues in court with some amazing well armed lawyering. The protests, though important, should only be to stir up public opinion and momentum, followed by a timely well thought out and public challenge to the laws we wish to change. That’s where to orgs should be focusing their energy to capitalize on these fleeting moments.

I will sling some BS for the sport of it. All things in existence are subject and coexist in the same spectrum of frequencies. Our soul is the center band (radio station of sorts) of our collective aura which each individual feels as I. Imagine the Sun as the Major harmonic frequency, Jupiter as the next biggest harmonic stabilizer, earth, the moon, our region, our city, etc. etc. Our minds are a powerful radiator of frequency, the more minds tuned in to the same overtones of society, the more we influence each other and drown out the outlier spikes and chaotic frequency disruptions. When awake, we are more subject to external stimuli, or project our own emotional frequency (like stress) which can lead us to losing the synchronicity. When asleep or trained to enter the proper mental state, we can fall deeply into the rhythm of our subconscious and loose ourselves to the collective and free ourselves of our Makyo (the earthly distractions keeping us from fully submersing our conscious into the noosphere.

I second the dust. Dust can collect on the sensor and trigger the alarm. You can try vacuuming or using a compressed air cleaner, or just replace.

This is one of the more thorough and thoughtful psytrance guides I’ve seen. I’m actually impressed.

Although not very impactful yet, it think aerographene has the potential to be massive.

Can you help me find my puppy, I think it went into this cheap hotel room?

Best case scenario for me would be Biden should run, win, then immediately step down due to health concerns. Won’t happen of course.

Kimono Drag Queens are such a good band. Criminally underrated rated.

The jerk chicken from 3 dives in Negril, Jamaica. It might be influenced by set and setting with a gorgeous sunset and being extra hungry after getting all extra loose at Rick’s cafe but it’s one of the most memorable meals I’ve ever had. That or the earl gray brined double pork chop at Perry’s in Puyallup, Wa. Or my own recipe for “bacon beer cheese soup poured over ripped up Dill rye toast.” Or ….. I better stop here
