Is it that you can keep using the free trial forever? /s

Seems like a lot of these handhelds are rushed and lacking R&D. Makes the steam deck seem like an even better option

Seems light

Isn't the whole point of assembly that there is no compiler?

It's because they don't want the car battery running flat during installation. Kind of like how your phone requires a minimum battery charge to update

I've always been a power user but never minded Windows until W11. Luckily WSL was a great gateway drug for me and I ended up switching to Linux full-time after living inside WSL for a few weeks.

That's really impressive

MazdaSpeed 6. AWD 6-speed manual almost no one's heard about. Looks unsuspecting to the average Joe.

I don't mind the idea of seeing the same user around. Feels more community centered

Anything you interact with on a daily basis. Keyboard, mouse, desk, monitor... If you're going to be spending a couple hours a day at it why not treat yourself?

Neat but I don't think LLMs are the way to go for these sort of things

I'm interested. As long as it has an unlockable bootloader and I can install my own OS

Nice! How many miles?

Seems targeted. Scary

Math is mathing

I suppose that's one thing my 2008 shitbox has going for it... Seems like every product is moving towards the advertising mindset

Use the dash to dock extension

Surprised to see this, especially given current emissions and fuel economy standards. Nothing can beat the sound of a meaty v8

Having used AA/ACP I can't see how any consumer would want to go away from using it. More car as a service behavior

Truly a timeless game

Honestly looks pretty sharp

Username checks out

I was in a similar position earlier this year. Problem was most non smart TVs were business grade and very expensive. Ended up with a Samsung Smart TV but didn't hook it up to the Internet. Fits my needs and remote is only ever used for changing HDMI devices. It boots up in about 10 seconds.

Seems on brand of them

Think the smallest modern car we got was the Toyota Yaris which was a rebranded Mazda2. And that got axed due to low sales. Consumers need more of an incentive to downsize

A surprisingly low bar

This makes me so happy! I've been maining boost for almost six years now and was so bummed when the dev announced he wasn't going to be working on a Lemmy app. Looks like he changed his mind!

Ok. Not like they haven't done the same lol

Do you access your server in different places? Curious what the benefit is in remoting into your daily computer. Wouldn't there be input lag? Can you watch videos through it?

Nice! My '08 Mazda6 has 166k, I'm hoping to break the 200k barrier myself

The black spots are from the OLED panel being cracked. This is a lot better than earlier OLEDs that would completely die if cracked

Pixel 6 pro did the same thing, flickered below the line. Slowly got worse until nothing displayed below the line. You need a new OLED

I don't think pihole works against YouTube ads unfortunately

That's awesome

Linux Mint with gnome desktop

Ubuntu Server for my self-hosted cloud service

I think the VM support is better on Windows 11. I tested gaming on both 10 and 11 on my Linux install and 11 performed better. Otherwise, agreed 11 is a downgrade

I'm actually running Windows 11 on QEMU and passing my GPU through to it. Runs VR games perfectly

Reminds me a bit of the FJ cruiser

What DE are you using? Gnome and cinnamon have extensions for it

Huh, that's neat. Alleviates the need for MUX switch it seems.
