So Dell wants to do a layoff of sales staff, and is going to lose their best performers first.
More importantly, Anderson has eight vehicles. GEICO is only choosing to terminate the insurance coverage from Cybertruck and is actively pursuing renewal of his vehicle coverage for the rest. This leaves no doubt that GEICO’s issue is directly related to the Tesla Cybertruck and not to Anderson or other factors.
Why would someone own 8 vehicles?
Robert added, “It makes no sense, as there are other, riskier cars out there. Let me know if you recommend any insurer for the truck. I have eight cars with an amazing record. I will be canceling my entire Geico policy!! Bye-bye!”
I can't think of a vehicle that is more likely to be a risk to others than the Cybertruck. I'm sure insurance adjusters see how people use Tesla FSD in spite of its shortcomings. The truck is heavy as hell and breaks in all sorts of ways others vehicles don't.
It's just a way to do layoffs while trying to fight off the unemployment claims.

Considering they think putting rocks on top of your playing equipment changes the sound, their work has negative value.
I believe it's to protect the prongs from getting damaged during shipping - and if the container gets rained on or something, it could provide some protection from that
“Edan went to bully the Palestinian students in the tents at UCLA and played the song that they played to the Nukhba terrorists in prison!” his mother proudly wrote on Facebook in a since-deleted post, accompanied by a screenshot of news footage from a local station. In the post, she identified her son by circling his figure in the screenshot of the news feed, CNN reported.
On was identified by CNN last week as one of the attackers. He is not a student but a local high school senior, his mother told CNN, though she later denied he was at the protest at all.
Thanks for exhibit A, mom.
If you believe this, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you
That's why they attacked the USS Liberty when they started the six days war
Garmin chargers are hot garbage, even the official ones. It's always recommended to buy at least 2 at a time, since they break so quickly.
The puck style charges seem to be a little bit better, but I've had ones that only worked 1 time.
How do you count in base36 on your hands? I seem to only have 10 (decimal notation) fingers
Sure, everyone that has a job that can be done from home should be permitted to do it from home if they want to.
What the best performers rhetoric is about is that these companies are harming their long term prospects by doing things like this, since the personnel that make the most money for the company are generally the ones that can easily leave for another company that will not treat them like a child that needs to be directly monitored.
It's not harmful, but it really depends on what roles you're trying to land.
I usually recommend going for A+ then Network+, then Linux+ for new technicians at data centers.
If you're worried about interviewing, I can say from the other side of the table that actual projects and working through issues shows experience more clearly than simply studying for and passing a cert. Even something simple like setting your desktop/server to be the DHCP server (instead of the router being the DHCP server)
Armed minorities are harder to oppress
I don't use VRR, but I meet the rest of your criteria
Electron apps were the biggest pain pont - I would be typing in discord and there was noticeable lag and letters would disappear until I have several characters beyond them. I worked around this by using discord on their website in a browser tab.
Not sure which update resolved this, but it's now working as I expect it to, so I think if you choose to use a Nvidia GPU, you should have an okay time. I would just say to consider a beefier AMD GPU as well, since they tend to have much better driver support in Linux
It demonstrates a lower level of gun safety around minors. It's awful if they can gain unsupervised possession of the weapon, it's even worse if they can get the ammo too. The fact it's a stolen gun is just the cherry on top here.
Because it is a bot that
One could just block it if they wished, but many users feel that their only way to give real feedback is by downvoting it. The Lemmy World admins have clearly shown they will not remove it no matter how the userbase feels.
If it simply gave the admins/mods feedback about sites, there wouldn't be very much pushback. But since it's in every story, giving an opinion of the news organization, it is attempting to influence the conversation.
I installed from one flash drive with the image (on ventoy) to another flash drive that was plugged in to be the boot drive. On a cheap USB2 drive, it's unusably slow - so make sure you use the fastest drive you can
So it will be removed after the election, right?
Heavier (6,898 pounds compared to 5,540 for the F-150), lithium fire risk, inattentive drivers using the FSD
This is all on top of how dangerous American trucks have become to others
It might be useful if they had bothered to link to the report they're referencing, or maybe even tell us who made the report.
Please take your medicine & stop flying the drones https://www.sacbee.com/news/local/article230454999.html
Agreed - they want your money here, not your liberty.
Yes. A CPU has both physical cores and logical threads. These are both considered logical CPUs.
For example, if you ran cat /proc/cpuinfo on Linux you would see something like this (First processor is processor 0)
processor : 23
model name : AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor
So your 4 core CPU likely has hyperthreading and would meet the requirements for Microsoft recall
I think the title is from the perspective of the (adult) dog. "I made this, I trust you to handle my young, but please be careful"
The biggest issue is breaking the habit - when people are building new habits, some portion are going to make healthier decisions (Though you're right, some will continue doing the next lowest effort option)
I understand this, but I didn't know how one would count up to 36 the first time around. PhlubbaDubba is using joints in their fingers to get additional objects to increment on. If we only used our fingers, we could only get to 10
Every time someone claps to their own words, their intent is to antagonize instead of communicate a point
His credit card was a fraud, his last festival was a fraud, he has been convicted of fraud.
You would have to be a world class dumbass to fall for this
I am stupid. How dangerous would one of these be to me if I picked it up by the ends (Or whatever to make it discharge into my body)?
You're not taxed on the full appreciation of your home at income tax rates. If the government did, the tax on the appreciation would price people out of their homes.
Ah. I failed to consider you live outside of the United States of America. I'm sorry that low income earners are burdened by this kind of tax policy.
So only corporations and billionaires can afford to own a home?
It's the vim part I haven't heard
