waaah waaah men don't all fit perfectly into the caricature i have in my head of what men were like "back in the day" waaaaaaah

Nobody, because I'm afraid to upset/burden anyone by making my problems theirs. It's caused issues in the past for me so I think my best bet will be finding a therapist lmfao

If you check the modlog, your post was removed for breaking rule 7 which is "No memes allowed as posts".

I wear a mask to work if I'm sick but can't call in. People give me odd looks but honestly I kinda enjoy not having to wear as much make up because of the mask lol

RIP dumping claymores everywhere... it was fun while it lasted but it definitely couldn't stay :(

Damn developers making the game more fair and fun for everyone!

Maybe give Infinity for Lemmy a shot! I don't have a tablet to test on at the moment but I recall Infinity for Reddit (which this is a fork of) supporting tablets.

https://codeberg.org/Bazsalanszky/Infinity-For-Lemmy/releases

Some minor bugs but development is moving quickly. Bazsalanszky is doing an incredible job and I'd personally consider the app to be in a usable state for the average Lemmy user already :)

That was incredible. Such a terrifying concept.

It's in the sidebar of the lemmy.world front page. Links below!

Love Vimusic! For people that don't like the interface, there's also Innertune which works very similarly to Vimusic. Haven't needed Spotify since 😁

Silence from the small group that hates spez would be filled by the majority that don't care.

I don't use Reddit anymore now that I'm happily on Lemmy, but I would be open to contributing to the vandalism of /r/place since it would make my displeasure visible to the news sites reporting on the event.

People boycotting Reddit completely are a tiny minority compared to the total active userbase of Reddit, so stressing about engagement with the publicly editable canvas is probably a bit excessive, especially since it offers the opportunity to get the word out further

I'm unsure if this still works, but I've heard good things about it: https://bogachenko.github.io/fuckfuckadblock/

cheese :)

This channel is insane. Absolutely incredible work every time

Hell yeah, I haven't played WoW in ages and reckon a private server would be a good way to get back into it. Subscribed!

I'm sold! I need more ducks in my life

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything that breaks down by age sadly. I really hope someone has the stats cause it would be fascinating to see.

I've never heard of the Reddit version so this is new to me. Love the idea + subbed!

none!

...cause aussie.zone blocks NSFW completely hehe

Apologies if this doesn't fit here, I'm just obsessed with it at the moment and have no one else (except bf) to talk about it with lol

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet so... Golden Light!

A creepy, funny, challenging, confusing, silly mess if a roguelite. Art looks almost PS1-esque. It's gorgeous in an ugly way!

I do if I need to type something really really quickly, but I still type normally if I'm trying to carefully format something with proper grammar and all that (like a Lemmy reply, for example!)

Kept scrolling till I found this comment.

I absolutely loved Destiny 2 but good god is it terrible in a lot of ways. Couldn't keep up with the time investment required and the game really likes using FOMO to keep players hooked.

It's less of a game and more of a second job. At least, that's how it started feeling towards the end for me.

I read it this way even after reading your comment, assuming they'd edited their post...

Orna RPG! It's a GPS game like Pokemon Go with a classic RPG style, no pay to win options, a great community, and Devs who listen to feedback with regular updates.

Genuinely the best GPS game I've played by a long shot.

my people

hello fellow patient gamer 🫡

The only thing I could find was a statista link that claims to show US gamer's proclivities toward preordering in 2016 based on a survey of 1560 people (https://www.statista.com/statistics/662626/game-pre-order-frequency-us-gamers/)

Everything other result seemed to be random news articles about topics tangentially related to preordering video games.

+1 for Golden Light. Game has an unsettling yet very funny vibe.

Oh for sure! I absolutely adore smaller bugs!

An example in Remnant 2 I can think of off the top of my head is that when you go to revive a teammate, both yourself and the teammate say "Thank you" which has led to some hilarious moments. I also enjoy trying to think up reasons why the bugs might happen (reviving a player puts the downed player into a "reviving" state, maybe it accidentally puts BOTH players into the "reviving" state?).

My main issues with it are the performance issues. Even extremely beefy computers seem to require DLSS enabled in performance mode. I like my bugs to be at a smooth framerate, damn it! 😆

hahaha thankfully not american. It's a self-imposed "can't".

get worried I'll come across as if I'm taking the piss if I take leave on a Monday/Friday or too often
