Seems like wasted effort & resources....

The people on the apps should be able to manage their own activity.

As long as the greater society continues to conflate sex(ual)/genitalia[male, female, intersex/hermaphrodite] with gender(man, woman, trans man, trans woman, non-binary, etcetera) nothing will reach a mutal level of comprehension.

The plethora of false positives makes this technology flawed - the number of females who will be flagged as trans 😅..... the plethora of trans woman who will not get flagged....😅....

These apps are not created to make meaningful connections. It's to increase their profits and engagement. Apps have been around how long now, and we see a DECLINE in the quality of relationships not their improvement..

RCS is crap, inconsistent, unreliable, lacking, buggy. It doesn't even handle Dual SIM .....

Android needed a native "iMessage" style solution at least 10 years ago.

I can buy a $99 flip phone, basic phone, up to a $1,500 premium device, SMS/MMS will function the same across all 3 devices. RCS however will not. So how is this the answer to advanced messaging on Android? It isn't.....

If Google bought BBM & made it their own when it was still relevant in the consumer space, made it native on all Android 10 devices & later with SMS/MMS fall back, this would be something! Damn I miss BlackBerry....

RCS is not seamless, not native, and it simply is not it. It's the 1 thing I hate about Android, as creative and customizable as the software is, we need more.....I hate what Apple represents in the consumer space and how people often think who use an iPhone which makes me never want one.....

The moment Google saw the exclusivity Apple was doing, Android should have followed suite.

Terrible. The next evolution to SMS MMS shouldn't be proprietary and fragmented.Google Messages is meh and is the only RCS Unless you have a carrier device and use Samsung Messages which is soon going away. Apple and iMessage being Apple only ruined universal messaging and all users on Apple or Android should have not let this happen.

I'll be happy to see Reddit go down ! There moderation policy. Overly sensitive practices, inconsistent behavior, and cowardly moderators ruined the platform....... don't breathe too loud, you'll get banned...smh

I just want more people to LEAVE Reddit. To hell with corporate agendas, cowardly moderators, and incompetent admin. The internet needs an open source platform like Reddit where you can voice your opinion, no matter how flawed it may be, without concern you'll be "banned"...

Second, end users need to display more maturity and stop being so sensitive.....a BLOCK resolves 99.99% of ANY. "Moderator" involvement. "****" words is about all they need to "censor" and even that's questionable. Mods should just focus on actual bots and sub organization not so much the content police, most stuff can be self regulated.....

Lemmy, albeit I don't think the name is good for brand recognition, the functionality is ok, similar, just needs the audience. Even YouTube and Facebook....."community guidelines " ....I "offended" the AI,.... this is dire times and sadly most are not even aware. Without US these platforms don't exist. Facebook wouldn't be Facebook if it weren't for the USERS so why are you micromanaging them..... T-Mobile is trying to retrofit this bs, gaslighting people, well trying to based purely on greed. This " pay your last months bill " is something new.

It was both implied and understood when I selected that plan that the price would not change as long as we kept the plan. There was no promise or guarantee. This was an agreement.

Because my rate would not change this directly influenced how I did business with T-Mobile AND their competitors by deciding to upgrade, accept a promotion, decline a competitors offer, remain a customer, remain on my plan versus newer ones, etcetera.

Are people being wilfully obtuse or just dense. If the Price Lock / UN- Contract always had a 60 day "promise" this would have been brought up years ago. In fact, it states (ed) the opposite and the rates should not be changing. The way T-Mobile is handling this is disgusting. I could respect them more had they said " we are breaking the terms we proctored to you and will pay all penalities and fines associated both civil and arbitration, we also recognize how this violates consumer trust, we are officially the company we keep " - The Re-Carrier

I hate when I have good information to share and can't so I'm working on finding better places where I can speak freely without some "moderator" getting involved......so far this platform has been nice. I'm surprised I havent read from the comments how funny it is: Of course I know it wasn't a true restriction, after all its a man made program; however, isn't it convenient for years T-Mobile told customers those plans had restrictions, line caps that could not be changed, saying they couldn't make changes to the plan and you would have to switch plans to add more lines.....

Yet, they are able to raise price as it fits them... Comical and pathetic.

I can say the continued LGBTQIALMNOPQRSTUV divisive behaviors aren't doing anyone any favors. As long as its a separation, things will never evolve. Because they are treating certain sexual orientations as "special" when the root of that is a lack of. If being LGBTQIALMNOP wasn't seen as "other" and just as regular as "straight" we wouldn't have these silly debates and ignorant mindsets.

People have the right to live and exists, without needing an explanation for why they deserve to do so. This planet is so wicked and demonic. Hating someone because their sexual orientation, skin complexion, gender differs from your wheelhouse is insanity. Low intelligence.

I haven't been alive long, yet long enough, I can't think of 1 major issue that negatively impacted my life based on who was or wasn't president. Fucked up, is fucked up, no matter whose in that chair. NONE of the past president's have demonstrated anything on a higher level. They play to your emotions and it's hilarious to sit back and watch people justifying bs....for generations they piss on your leg and tell you it's raining... but I'm the conspiracy theorist for grabbing an umbrella... got it.

Also, if I'm anywhere,south north, ignorance is ignorance hate is hate. I don't think it's restricted to the south. I'm not trans but if the south was presenting serious issues, I'd be standing my ground, or relocating. Bullies stop being bullies when you fight back!

I don't miss Reddit....

I just wish my topics and engagement were relocated to a neutral place where you can have an opinion and not be banned by some coward with an empty title....I want Reddit to crash like MySpace.... over moderation is off-putting on any platform...... really aggravating.
