Lol

Literally the only time I use reddit now that my 3rd party app got fucked by spez is when I Google a problem and reddit pops up as the answer.

Will I ever go to reddit and search for my issue? Hell no because their search function is absolutely useless.

What is more infuriating is the dog's leash doesn't look like it even has enough length for the dog to lie down.

My top company that I will never give another dollar to is Adobe, as they forced me into a 1 year "contract" with a $200 cancellation fee after forgetting to cancel their one month discounted trial in time.

Other companies for myself include Dell, HP, and Canadian Tire.

Why is it that people who commit fraud for less than $10,000 get jail for decades but commit fraud for millions and you only lose your ability to do business in a single state for 3 years?

As an outsider looking in I'm not so confident

Even removing a ceiling and windshield, $42,000 seems stupidly excessive.

I think the thing isn't just providing access to the content, but using algorithms to promote how likely it is for deranged people to view more and more content that fuel their motives for hateful acts instead of trying to reduce how often that content is seen, all because they make more money if they watch more content, wether it is harmful or not.

I don't understand how cars would work on their own with no input from a driver small-scale

I understand being able to type in "Drive to Walmart" and it can back out of your driveway and go to Walmart, but then what? It goes into the parking lot? It finds the first available space? What if you just wanted to go there to pick something up curbside? How can you tell it to go to a specific stall? What if you're disabled and need to go to the handicap space? How can it tell if your authorized to use that space?

There's so many little nuances that I don't understand not being able to have a steering wheel to take control of and manually do things at some point.

I'm a biologist, but have always been fairly techy in my own time outside of my work. Definitely not much of a tech person though, I can't code or anything like that. Can troubleshoot most of my own technical issues though and built a PC.

Point of school is learning, yes. And fashion and looking good is also a part of learning, and expressing yourself, and attracting like minded individuals to build friendships, etc.

Boys should be taught to control themselves if someone nearby is "distracting", hey another thing they can learn at school. Teach kids how to be adults, not just algebra.

Men's pants can be a lot more loose around the waist and we typically have no butt to hold things up.

They feel like they get shorted because many of those users don't contribute to ad revenue from 3rd party apps but instead of improving their app to lure users in they instead tell those users to fuck off.

A user is a user, even if they don't contribute directly to ad revenue they contribute content to make the site more alluring for those who will contribute to ad revenue. As well they help spread the word about reddit to those who don't use it regularly yet by sharing that content outside of reddit.

They were pretty short sighted by doing what they did.

Never tried JIS though, Robertson is where it's at.

And after birth control women are going to be fined for having their periods, because each period is supposed to be a god blessed baby for Christ's sake. THINK OF THE CHILDREN YOU HEATHENS!

Ya to me this sounds more like people complaining they aren't making as much money as they want to?

Why are overdraft fees even allowed?

If the account doesn't have the funds, don't allow the withdrawal.

If someone needs to borrow money, they will use a credit card.

Why is it that people are forced to work without pay when it's Congress that's not able to do it's job?

Let them all stay home and absolute chaos erupt. Maybe then Congress will be able to come to some sort of compromise if they actually had consequences to face.

This is why 90-year olds shouldn't be allowed to run for political office. You know they can die at any moment and it's not going to be a convenient time.

"your choices matter"

Love the concept, but most of the time, they do not matter.

Bibi is now Hitler Lite in my opinion. The number of deaths aren't quite there or the level of cruelty, but the intent and mindset is exactly the same and he could easily get to that cruelty and deathcount if not stopped.

I mean, it makes sense to me. Whether you are trans or not, I feel like people voting for you should be aware if you have changed your name so they can do some googling and make sure you didn't get into any controversy or shenanigans before you changed your name.

Sure they are specifically using this law to target this person because they disagree with their way of life, but it's an old law and was passed for reasons before trans issues were even prevalent so the law itself isn't transphobic.

Again the excuse of 'no politics'

YOU CAN'T AVOID POLITICS

Accepting contracts from Israel is just as political as denying contracts from Israel. You just stated your political stance by accepting. Why do people think it's a free copout?

"alleged ... crimes"

.... Court decided he was guilty. There is no alleged about it lol

I haven't heard a single thing about her since she became VP. Has the news just been avoiding her? Has she done anything in the past three years?

I don't exactly avoid the news, but I know more about some congresspeople / governors / senators than I do about the sitting VP.

The economy is booming because of all the money corporations are charging you for your food and rent.

I wish dating apps were more tailored towards longer term connections. It's hard to meet people, but I don't want to go on tinder to meet people either.

Stop playing as soon as it happens. Wait 10-15 mins before going again.

I'm hoping they ask questions that they know the kids will perjure themselves lying about and that they have proof that they know what the truth is.

Happens all the time dude. What makes you so special?

Most people would take that as a given. He was just pointing out the effect on his own personal life.

It would be pretty annoying if everyone shared their own effect but had to precede it with a standard "I know it's more awful for those with lives lost, but this affects me because..."

Imagine if you bought Ford and could only fill it up at Ford endorsed gas stations.

Straight up fees like that should not be legal, if they even are in that location.

They should instead just add 18% to every menu item since it applies to everything anyways.

As it is right now advertising their cannoli for $11.00 is a straight up lie since it's really $12.98. They simply don't because they want to hide the actual cost and make their menu appear to be cheaper so you cant walk out until after you've ordered and eaten.

Also if got a bill with an 18% service charge I would definitely not tip, since tips are supposed to adjust for the low wages anyways.

If firearms manufacturers are to be held liable, what would be the reasoning to also not hold vehicle manufacturers liable in the use of their product in criminal acts?

Vehicles are probably used in just as many crimes as guns are, I imagine, with vehicular manslaughter, running vehicles through protests and crowds, etc.

I can't see a logical reason to target one specific product over others when there are legitimate uses for them (i.e. hunting).

Car dealers don't want to sell EVs, it's a lot more work for them

They can sell an ICE vehicle within an hour of a customer showing up on the lot.

EVs can take multiple days and sit downs to try and sell because people have questions since it's new and they want to understand the details before purchasing.

That means less commission, so salesmen try to avoid selling people EVs over ICE vehicles.

I guarantee you Trump would pay way more than $300m if it meant dodging 10 years in prison.

Just because he has money (debatable) shouldn't mean he should get a pass where other people wouldn't.

Honestly I don't think one can be against abortion and for IVF without doing a whole bunch of mental gymnastics.

How can you ban "aborting" embryos that are in the womb but support IVF which results in way more "aborted" embryos.

It's either be against both or support both.
