The sad thing is that I DO want to work. I WANT to go study and become a biologist and hopefully teach it someday. But, because of this fucked up system, have to do what can afford to pay rent instead of what I have been dreaming of since I was a kid.

Cities: We expect them to get help! Just not from us. We can't lower property values like that.

It's because for the longest time, eggs were the cheapest and fastest way to get protein into your body. Especially compared to the cost of meat. But now, because of inflation, everyone is trying to be more frugal which just jacks the price of those goods and makes us all suffer more.

I grew up there. Honestly, you're not wrong. Napoleon Dynamite is honestly only a mild exaggeration.

Well there's you're problem! You're disabled, so therefore unprofitable. It's criminal that you have the ability to live while someone who could make profit for our corporate overlords might not. Shame on you for being a leech on society! (In case it wasn't obvious, /S)

Ok... Those don't look half bad tho. Anyone out there got a good flan recipe?

It's more like... Having an extra layer or two stashed at convenient locations like a chipmunk.

Isn't that called a slum lord?

Wait, that's just slavery with extra steps!

We already have a word for that: Y'all!

I think the fear is that the higher courts also don't want death threats, so everyone and their mother is gonna keep trying to pass this around. Which is what Trump wants to happen until he can try to get re-elected in 2024 and then pardon himself.

Bruh, I'm 21 and that's my situation... God damnit

This makes me sad tbh. I'm 21, and get flashbacks of my dad yelling at me, especially when someone yells at me irl. I was scared that I'd spend my life trying to get rid of them... now I wonder if that's even possible

Ye, Israel do be taking the Nestle stance.

Look, I'm still used to having to explain shit Barney style for reddit. I forgot that smart people don't understand high-level idiocy.

The thing is that most voters would be in favor of such a thing. Which is why those policies rarely find their way to polls. We don't live in a direct democracy. We live in an oligarchy.

Edit: Talking about the US here.

Unfortunately, both my parents are like that too. I went no contact for that reason, actually.

What about wild blueberries tho
