Thanks for saying that. People like you are a blessing in the skies.

"Donald Trump is a poor man’s idea of a rich man, a weak man’s idea of a strong man, and a dumb man’s idea of a smart man.”

Want the list of the 167 banned ones. Those are obviously the ones that won't cave to the pressure.

Mississippi, generally speaking. Also high on the list, for me, is Bama, Louisiana, SC, Arkansas, West Virginia, Oklahoma, and Idaho. They all have redeeming communities and places, but in general, I don't want to live in any of those states. Before anyone asks, I've been to all of them.

Assuming Prig is actually dead, and maybe more importantly, the guy actually in charge of Wagner is dead, these guys will probably just go home and integrate with the Russian military.

Someone is going to be in deep crap for posting this. Really surprised to see any aftermath pics.

Putting on spotify and getting a Playlist so I don't mess with my phone when I start driving. Possibly GPSing.

Meh, I was upset with the rise of the extreme right, but it seems like the US is passing the test. People are being tried for their crimes, election tampering, etc. Just because you build something doesn't mean people won't try to tear it down. It's certainly not perfect, but it's also not a finished product.

Yeah, in my hospital pre-op, we physically hand a marker to the patient and tell them to mark where the surgery will be.

Me, too. Still trying to figure out lemmy.

"but there’s a growing sense that it’s too late, and it’s time to do a deal,” the former senior administration official said.

It's too late because you didn't send what they said they needed to win, you ape. Unreal.

Sorry, what was that last part? You trailed off.

TIME reviewed the job contracts, which it said required a one-year commitment, but came with an enlistment fee and a payout for the families of recruits if they are killed in action.

Uh... This seems pretty straightforward, to me.

He gets posted by pro Russian war supporters, a lot, who act like he represents what America really wants. That should tell you enough about the guy.

I thought that, too, but it turns out they have nothing to worry about. I think putting smartphones in everyone's face bought them a hundred years.

I like to think that people are downvoting for using "noone". I feel like I'm stroking out when I read that.

Alternatively, it could be that Russia is refusing trades. Everyone knows that Russia can "out - meat" Ukraine, and they've just installed a system in which (civilian) prisoners in Russia will be voluntold to serve. We all know that Wagner was doing something similar, but now the MoD will be doing it, en masse.

Isn't the whole problem that, since nobody openly talks about providers, nobody knows who the originals are? Of course, everyone can claim to be the guy at the top, but who knows?

Gosling, too. Jim Carrey repped us really well, more than most of them, though Mike Meyers is up there, also.

How he got to the egg before the rest of them?

They do. This is either total BS, or a back channel deal with the US in exchange for something.

The weird thing about the war, at least in my little American bubble is that despite the "overwhelming feeling the west has to capitulate eastern Ukraine" or any of it is... Most people I talk to barely know there's a war going on over there. They certainly don't understand why. The war fatigue everyone keeps claiming does not apply. I'm starting to believe it's manufactured. Certainly, the politicians are fighting, because the Reps don't want the Dems to look like they defeated Russia. That would put them right back in office. Maybe things are different in Europe, but if I stay off the internet, there are no signs of what the media keeps talking about. Occasionally, I see a Ukrainian flag in a window, but I'd wager half the people who see that flag have no idea what country it is.

I work in Radiology, and have to do Barium enemas, frequently. As much as we love the humor, we strive to keep it medical, with patients. We all know it sucks, can feel embarrassing, etc, but we're just trying to get the job done with the best pictures. Your physical body is kind of secondary to what our goal is.

I'll continue to recommend an app called Improve the News. It'll let you filter things, but more importantly, shows you the source of articles, and explains different angles at the end of articles. Really well done.

Ah, yes. When the Arabs tried to dislodge the Israelis on Tom's birthday.

Just getting into his collection. What a gem.

Do what they tell you, to recover. The surgeon looks bad if you get a bad outcome, so they've truly got your best interest at heart. Don't cut corners!

I work in X-ray. Get a foreign object like once every two weeks. Good times.

I mean... It's not that crazy. There's a whole political party in the US that spouts pro Russia stuff on social media all day, and they don't even require payment.

Yeah, I really don't understand why people always repeat the line that "Jews and Muslims have been fighting forever". This conflict is a direct result of outside interference, and it seems difficult to understand why things were set up the way they were. I need to do much more reading, because from what I understand, there doesn't seem to be a plausible explanation, other than the powers that be wanted endless conflict. Generations later, you can't ask Israelis to give up everything they've known, but the Palestinians were made to do the same thing, already. It makes sense for Israel to do most of what it does, now, in defense of itself, but it doesn't make sense that we're here, in the first place. Meanwhile, the Palestinians are screwed over and over. There doesn't seem to be a way out of this that doesn't involve one group wiping the other group out. Nobody is going to come along and say "screw ethnic and religious histories, let's just be human and share the land".

Liftoff is dead, I believe.

Lol. Nah, man, it's all laughs. Plenty of native speakers do it, too. I'm on a one-man crusade. It's just "no one", for the record.

Tuna. I'm in the midwest. I've lived on the west coast. I just assumed "tuna fish" was an east coast thing.

Late 30s. Hell yes I drink the milk. That's the whole reason I ate the cereal.

That fifth one has more damage than I was expecting

You don't wear your compass? How do you know where to go?

Street view

So more Russians moving abroad and then subsequently claiming they're being persecuted while marching in pro Putin protests against the west. I know this isn't all of them, but it's an alarming number. I don't understand this line of thinking, at all.
