Yea that's I've seen a few with the classic low quality of cctv and it's gnarly. Saw someone get splated under the rear of a forklift. She was being counter weight cause they were lifting too heavy of a load and the other person that was also a counter weight got off causing the forklift to start slanting, she tried holding on, got lifted and then fell and slid under the forklift as it came back down after dropping the load. The only thing stopping me is stupid vanguard for league. I'm close to just getting a clean league only mini pc and having my main one be Linux. I'll have to check out bazzite. I play the usual minecraft, terraria, ff14, indie games mostly so hopefully they run fine. I don't think I've played a AAA game in like 7 years.

It all depends on context but I use these replies to let them know I hear them without picking a side if that makes sense. It's best to act like you aren't sure or don't know when they ask about stuff.

They asked me if I was gonna watch and I just said I don't know maybe, I was gonna leave it at that but they kept trying to sports team for Trump and pushing me to answer what I thought about them sitting so close. I took that chance to say I don't really talk about politics at work, all the while typing away and working. That seemed to work and they took the hint and stopped.

I did the same, I'm polite, helpful and pleasant to be around. I also keep everyone at arms length and am very careful with how I phrase stuff, people in the office love me and understand I won't be sharing personal stuff and I'm not interested in their personal stuff. If they wanna talk weather, TV shows or games I'm fine with that.

Might be a bit dramatic. All sectors of industry are using more and more tech, we have more people in the workforce now that are tech literate than we did decades ago.

These are random numbers to explain my point. Look at it this way, in the 90s maybe 20 percent of people knew how to use computers but 12 percent of those were truly tech savvy and knew the ins and out of using a pc.

Now a days 90 percent of people know how to use a pc (regardless of the form it presents itself, be it pc, phone, tablet, etc) but only like 30 percent of them might be truly tech savvy.

It's still a step up from back then, and because of the nature of tech in industry there's always gonna be plenty of people who know how to use pcs well and if there aren't then that's just more money for us who do know.

Dude same here. I usually say stuff along the lines of 'yea it took me forever the first time to figure it out' or 'it's a common issue that a lot of people have, I'll get it sorted in a sec for you no problem'. Make it seem like they're not stupid, regardless of the truth and then fix it, keeps em happy and more willing to cooperate with you as well.

I found out my ex of 12 years was cheating in a similar matter. For some reason she liked taking screenshot of conversations, I had set up Amazon pictures auto backup on her phone at her request cause she was afraid of losing 16 years of pictures. One day I was looking through the backups cause my phone was also set up and I was looking for an old picture I no longer had on my phone. I ended up finding plenty of screenshot of her texts with an old school boyfriend she had been cheating on me with for almost 2 years. Nothing physical as far as I could tell but I can't say for certain it didn't happen, emotional cheating is just as bad for me anyways.
I also saw that some screenshot were from Instagram and I knew her tablet was logged in so I checked and it was all there. Worst part was, that she would often be texting him when we were together doing things and basically telling him she wish she was there. Worst 3 months of my life while I got my ducks in a row so I could leave without issue.

I found out she met him at least twice on her yearly trips back to her home country.

I knew a couple who were married and together for 20 years and didn't live together. My manager as well, she's married and they don't technically live together but he stays at her house 4 days a week. I also knew a couple who were just friends with benefits and lived together and coparented their 2 kids, they had separate rooms.

Just find the type of relationship that works for you.

Edit: some extra context for anyone interested. The first couple were young professionals and they enjoyed their privacy and alone time. For my manager it was her second marriage and they were both in their 50th, they both had their lives and this way was just easier for them, iirc they've been together for like 7ish years. As for the last couple my ex used to watch them on tiktok, seemed like it worked out for them, they were a Mexican couple.

Yea that's cause originally it was just meant to be gamer friends voice chatting and text chatting with each other. They build all the other features on top of what they had originally so it's terrible as a reddit/social media alternative.

I also wonder what they consider an active user. Would logging in through Facebook to play a mobile game count? What about just logging in through Facebook on any site to get an account on that site? I know I probably check my Facebook once every 3 months to check up on fam but other than that I don't use it.
