Same here. My family and girlfriend always ask how I know so much stuff. I just tell them I read a lot. Which is true, little do they know I just read a lot of reddit and the sources people post. I also left when Boost went dark. Bittersweet.

Besides a bunch of gaming and weeb ones I usually browsed trending and would gravitate toward the classics. Ask reddit, wtf, piracy, personal finance, lifeprotips, malefashionadvise, cool guides, the various explain like I'm 5 type subs, out of the loop. Etc. The trick is in the comments. Even in gaming subs people would have conversations and go on tangents in the comments with interesting facts or statements. I always make an effort to take a step forward whenever I read something I feel is interesting. For example, if someone mentions the Reynolds pamphlets in their comment about Alexander Hamilton. I'll go ahead and Google what they are and give it a read. There's always something you could learn even if it's tangentially related. Even if it's just the sentence structure or formating of a long comment, the way the camera or sound is done in a movie or show, someone's mannerisms as they're talking to you. It's about wanting that knowledge.

I'm not a particularly smart person but my family and friends think I am just because I know a bit of everything. Im just a naturally curious person that likes to learn.

That's what they do with a lot more paintings that you would think. Not because they don't want the plebs to look at them but because being exposed to the environment would cause irreparable damage to it. So they have experts make recreations and display those.

Job hunting is the worst. I have to answer every single call for a while knowing full well it's probably a telemarketer but not having any other choice.

You're right and it's that sort of stuff that people like you and me will deal with and figure out and move on but unfortunately it's not the case with regular people. That's why I never recommend that sorry if stuff to 'normies' ie. My mom. Instead I set them up with the lesser of evils that will give them convenience and make them more likely to trust me in the future. That way, if I ever REALLY need them to move on from something they will be more likely to just listen to me and not fight me about it. I just got a couple of friends to switch over to Firefox even though they were chrome fans, all because I have years of goodwill. Ported their bookmarks and got them ublock and they barely even notice a difference.

That's what happened to me with my previous job. Family and friends kept telling me that I look good and thinner but the scale was more or less the same. I do feel better and went down a size so it's a win for me overall.

Morning radio show I used to listen to talked all the time about the crap they bought off Instagram and tiktok ads. Like, ALL THE TIME. My ex and her family also bought a fair bit off of those sort of ads. Some type of people are just susceptible to it and others aren't.

I cna vouch for fmovies and there's also goku dot SX. Firefox plus adblock is the way to go. A lot of these sites also give you imdb ratings and a bunch of other things that regular streaming sites don't.

That's my reasoning behind trusting banks with my money. If shit goes down to the point I can't get my money out of a bank then it won't have much value for long anyways and I have bigger issues.

Sounds like their tricks work.

DUDE MY GIRLFRIEND FUCKING DID THAT AND I JUST LOOKED AT HER AND ASKED HER IF SHE THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA. In hindsight no, thankfully she's gonna be moving soonish. This was from before we were together, otherwise I would have warned her not to do that. It was the same discord she got a cyberstalker from, thankfully the stalker wasn't a friend of the owner because otherwise he totally could have gotten her address and irl info.

The only way I can see what he mean making sense is that he's talking about the people making more than low 6 figures. I can totally see someone making 300k a year not leaving because of money but because they wanna do something new.

Still are. You can buy them at your local super market.

I've seen that video 3 times and I might again this weekend. It's a great video. I've seen it the first time I found it, with my best friend and then my girlfriend.

Agreed, smaller solares powering smaller things is the way to go. Like carpark shade to power the lights nearby

Oh buddy. Are you familiar with temu? Like alibaba or wish or Amazon. Well they have a fish feeding game that incentivises you to log in every day and do stuff like share and buy etc to potentially get a discount etc. It's insane. A MARKETPLACE APP WITH A GAME TO GET PEOPLE MORE HOOKED.

Might be the same reason why Mexicans vote for Republicans as well. As a Mexican I've observed that there's plenty of racism and misogyny still going about, especially among the religious and ignorant crowd.

Just out of curiosity, does siri not have a setting where you can have it get used to your voice? I remember cortana had a whole set up process that had you say a bunch of things. I don't enunciate well but it was able to always pick up my regular voice for stuff.

Yep, I remember seeing my ex brother in law seem upset for half a second at his baby gender reveil party when they popped a balloon and it was pink. The wife noticed and quickly unscrolled her blue parchment saying it was a lie and it was actually a boy. He wasn't a bad dude but there was definitely machismo there.

Sorta what they sound like. They're privately owned and hosted by third party people. You have to download their own launcher to play but most are pretty much free.

Check out ascension. It's wow but classless, you have a couple servers, one where you choose from 3 random abilities when you level up and another where you get more leeway in the abilities you chose. It's a really interesting way to play wow.

You're not kidding. I stumbled upon one on roku and they were the lamest let's players. Totally aiming for that 10 year old audience with the way they talked and how child friendly it was. Mind you, I'm not going at them for being child friendly, I'm going at them for not knowing basic mechanics that anyone whose played 5 minutes figures out.

I tried helping my ex brother in law over the phone and he couldn't grasp the concept of right clicking. I told him to just hold on and I would help him when I was back in town.

I know he knows how to right click but when given the instruction to right click on something he somehow forgets what a right click is.

I've tried a couple apps and it looks like they're trying to at the very least not have uncensored porn on your all feed. So that's a step up.

It also good on sale for cheap relativity often. My bud picked it up for 5 bucks a couple weeks ago.

I wonder if the increase of quality is due to more evs and vehicles being less environmentally friendly. With better efficiency and filters and regulations that help with that.

Got any recommendations? I've been with them for 3 phones starting on 2 and I'm thinking on replacing my 6. I was already looking at other companies but not sure who would be good.

My unpopular opinion is that the pros aren't actually that good if they have to gut a game to play it. I wanna see the do all the crazy shit they do but with items on and on annoying stages like the moving Pokémon one. Either get good or fuck off. I can't think of another game where they do this stuff to this extent.
