They're not telling anyone "how to think". They're telling transphobes and "trans sceptics" to fuck off. And who cares if they do it with a pinned post rather than a sidebar announcement? Some apps hide the sidebar in a menu.
Also when you say you opened a bunch of communities, do you mean you hosted them? Because those two women are literally running the server this instance is running on. Doesn't sound all that easy to me.
The real solution is to abolish copyright
Instructions unclear, am currently chilling in a hot tub with three big hairy men... when do the bears show up?
Anyone who supports the idea of communism isn't very intelligent to begin with.
Anyone who makes a wack generic statement like that can't be particularly "intelligent" either
...and it was all a dream.
Are we really dealing with "scarcity" at this point?
Supermarkets throw away literal millions of tonnes of food annually. "Reduce, reuse, recycle" has become a hollow mantra that cannot be truly adopted by the profit driven design philosophies of consumer products. Sustainability is being treated like some chic perk rather than a critical topic that must be taken seriously if we want any hope for our futures.
All these things are profoundly capitalist problems. Of course, it's not like marxist-leninist 'experiments' fared any better, devolving into their own variants of capitalism, but there are many other socialist ideologies to consider (such as anarchism...)
Of course capitalism operates in a lot of gray areas, it's how it seems freer than it actually is. "I need food" isn't always a problem, but it is one often enough to be systemically problematic. Abandoning one's hopes and dreams because one must be "realistic" is the norm.
Say what you want about marxist-leninists but they're not "very extreme right fascists". Do you have any evidence for your claim or are you just doing your part in decreasing political literacy?
No, you just made a likely bad faith argument he couldn't be bothered to engage with.
There has been a rise in far-right parties in many countries, many of which don't officially label themselves as fascist for plausible deniability, while spouting clearly fascist rhetoric. Their current scapegoats of choice include (but are not limited to) immigrants and lgbtq people.
But if you're not being disingenuous, what do you think fascism is?
Beautiful 👏
It's classic false equivalence from "freedom lovin" liberals, lol
Free speech for everyone! ^(as long as you keep quiet about anything that questions capitalism / the status quo)^
Yay reform! Aren't we just sooo progressive? Conservatives hate us so that means we're totally leftist!
What violence? Is open discussion of anti-capitalist ideas violent to you?
In practice, (representative) democracy is a sham, anyways
The actually imporant thing they undermine, as does capitalism, is autonomy.
Why do you think communism "lead" to authoritarianism? Do you think communism is inherently authoritarian? Is the distinction between Marxism-Leninism and Anarcho-Communism and other 'communisms' meaningless to you?
What do you think communism means?
If my rooster was a chicken it would lay eggs
And if we ever want to post videos, I imagine PeerTube links would be a good way to go?
Lol so spez found a (short term) way to get mods to not just work for free, but to pay him for the privilege of becoming his slaves! Truly genius.
Meaning a mandated backdoor making encryption not really encrypted? Following the Australian LibNat Coalition's footsteps I see.
I've been wondering if the API change was actually a move to prevent anyone but themselves from using Reddit's data to train AI.
They don't exist

Communism is by definition moneyless
But yes anarchy is less prescriptive
Personally though I'm sceptical that money can be without hierarchy, or that the distinction between necessities and luxuries is all that meaningful, since it's all very relative
Extremecapitalism stifles and suffocates innovation and preservation.
It's an inherent contradiction of capitalist competition. Somehow everyone is supposed to be competitive but noone is supposed to win for capitalism to "work". Otherwise it's considered a monopoly and "anti-competitive".
Ironically this requires collaboration.
Does anyone have an alternative source?Politico Europe is owned by Axel Springer SE, and Axel Springer was apparently like Germany's Murdoch.
Daily reminder that capitalism hurts all of us.
Capitalism isn't about free markets, it's about private property and profit extraction.
Peertube?
Seems like Heisenburg was a one trick pony. Jesse was the real visionary all along!
Yes and no. Cool project but I gotta be honest I'm not a big fan of Louis Rossman / FUTO's "open source but not free " stance.
Recognising mass-immigrantion as non-ideal can be valid if coming from a place of compassion. But with this perspective, mass-immigration is seen as a symptom of wider socioeconomic problems (or non-societal factors such as natural disasters), not as a problem in itself that needs to be "fixed" by sending immigrants "back home".
Furthermore, seeing immigration as a cause for socioeconomic problems only comes from a place of racism, ascribing negative expectations to people according to their country of origin / culture / ethnicity. It is clear that you stand with this camp from how you phrased what you think "the left" thinks:
"Immigration is good from any country in the world and if you have any reservations what so ever you're racist".
It implies that a person's country of origin plays a factor in whether or not they can be considered a "good" immigrant. That's racist.
The system is flawed and is working as intended.
Instead of anarchist cosplay, everyone should be learning about actual anarchist theory and praxis.
As far as I can tell, they physically present as masculine (albeit non-traditionally), perhaps with elements of femininity (I mean when it comes to specifics that kinda stuff is subjective), rather than butch/masculine femininity or smthn.
I just checked their reddit acc (u/anarcho-stripperism) and they still have their preferred pronouns as they/she/them, and seeing that they're anarchist, perhaps they are going for a more subversive breaking-the-gender-binary thing (which I think is cool!) rather than something specifically about gender identity.
*disorganisation :D

This is a very leftist online space. And proudly so. And it's not like there's a lack of disagreement among leftists. But any vagueries about having "controversial" opinions is gonna come across as fascist dogwhistling or at best liberal snobbery.
Unsurprisingly, it's likely that this "death threats" situation was made up by the ceo: https://www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/comments/16j21jg/the_truth_behind_the_unity_death_threats/
It's a reddit link, ik... here's a copy of the post:
