And just think... in a mere 17 years we can revolt against the fediverse and move on to the next greatest thing to feel these feelings again!

It's a lie to just blanketly say "there is no longer any danger of accidentally leaving a gas range open with no flame." Yes flame failure detectors exist, but (in the US anyway) there is no regulation requiring them, and is usually reserved for the higher end models of modern stoves. The vast majority of existing stoves have nothing more than a simple valve and nothing stopping it from being left open and unlit.

From propaneHQ.com. "It is important to note, however, that if you smell propane at any time in your house, you should take it seriously and take appropriate safety measures.". Dude you should not just be getting used to the smell of propane. Ferrelgas, Amerigas, & Foster Fuels all say if you can smell it, it is either empty or leaking, but it needs to be shut off either way.

I gave AntennaPod a try and was blown away at the granular control you are allowed over everything. Its a fantastic app that set a new standard for what I look for in an other apps now.

Oddly enough, the first link worked for me using Connect for Lemmy, but the bot link tries to take me to a user account for accidentalrenaissance instead of a community.

Oh man, your comment made me remember my first game that was just like tank wars. I always called it banana wars because you were 2 apes that threw bananas at each other.

Just found it.... "QBasic - gorrilas" https://www.retrogames.cz/play_654-DOS.php. So many memories playing this against my dad, punching a hole straight through some buildings at high velocity because he could never figure out how to do adjust his angle and velocity to account for the shifting wind speeds.

They really need to allow us to vote both up and down simultaneously for this reason.

Colt makes AR15s. They held the original patent until it expired in the '70s, and then everyone else started making it too.
