Oh the huge manatee!

It's Afrikaans, not Dutch. It's close though. We can understand written Afrikaans.

/u/spez is violently taking notes.

Also the civilized world.

I guess you're too straight edge for that.

It may be my imagination but I think the quality of Reddit posts has severely gone down. There's also noticeably more nazi propaganda.

Please drink a verification can.

It was only possible to watch GoT in the Netherlands when you were with one specific provider. That's what caused piracy.

Applies to everything except wages.

Phony Stark

Looks stressful.

Only thing that is annoying about pop music, radio stations here play the same 10 songs several times per day. Every day.

A goa'uld?

Don't have too much faith in the EU. Corporations are still heavily influencing politics. They will probably come with half assed laws that have loopholes or workarounds.

Hah, no. I barely look at someones username. Instead I focus on the comment itself.

I can't stand iOS or any of Apples' faux premium nonsense. Everything is clunky and unintuitive to me and I just want something that works without having to jump through hoops all the time. Android isn't perfect but it's a lot more functional

Come back and return the toilet to the state you found it in.

Just say that baklava was invented by their neighbours.

She is a billionaire, isn't that enough villainy?

Asking me to say that I screwed up an analysis so that the company wouldn't have to log an Out Of Specification result. It was Patheon Softgels, a company that made softgel capsules with painkillers, fish oil etc.

Medicine meant for people and they treated quality as a joke.

I really should have reported them but I was too young and naive about that. I regret not having done that, however the company was well on its way to collapse thankfully..

Fortunately the company collapsed and was eventually bought over by some other big pharma company. I've heard it's been heavily reformed.

All these forced cloud applications annoy the living shit out of me as well.

Wanna play some sarcastaball?

No it's because wealth is unfairly divided. Workers should benefit from productivity increases.

Also, the example in the original comment describes a dystopian death machine. A torture factory for cows to facilitate overproduction. We don't need to eat that much meat nor consume that much milk. This is why the entire planet is going to shit...

Indeed, there's more than 0.

At work it's because things are intentionally made difficult and arduous. Anything from SAP or HCL is stupidly convoluted so that they can extort their customers with expensive consultants combined with the sunk cost fallacy.

Also for users, every 3 months they will change the UI for no reason

The one thing AI would be good for... Humans shouldn't have to see that shit.

AH! FRESH MEAT!

Those instances are just satire right?

.....right?

I once saw the northern lights from the airplane window. We flew from Amsterdam to Seoul and back then the route went over Russia. We went far enough north that a faint green glow was visible in the distance.

I guess MacOS costs money too since you have to buy Apple hardware to use it. It's an indirect price.

You can't get fooled again?

They don't tbh. I think many jobs there are redundant but people play an elaborate game to pretend it isn't.

I'm on a German instance so I guess that's part of it.

I believe you have my stapler.

Watch Lord of the Rings on a phone mounted on the steering wheel. I called the police immediately.

Thanks you beat me to it.

Yeah it's something like how abrupt the change of prospect is from an extended war to peace.

No such thing as a good billionaire. The only variance is how good they are at maintaining their public image.

Until its your problem, lol.

What's wrong with that? I'd put a rickroll in there without regrets.

Ah shit, here we go again.
