What the fuck, why did we give in?

The problem is not state socialism, it's the authoritarian side of it. Tankies promote authoritarian views similar to fascists but with a different economics view (not even that different some times), hence they prefer the dictatorships like USSR (in these days even Putin, which is idiotic), North Korea, China; over what they perceive as imperialist, the USA (I agree on calling it imperialistic and disliking it, but not on considering it worse than dictatorships).

I'm a communist which likes state socialism, but what is and was present in those dictatorship (ignoring the authoritarian side which I despise) is state capitalism.

I'm Italian, there is no Bologna sausage in Italy. The American stuff is a bad mock up of mortadella, which is a Bolognese kind of sausage, hence the name Bologna.

At the end you can only place grey scale pixels, and after that only white pixels

Yeah there are schematics from framework, I don't think they are full though. But last thing I heard was from a while ago, so they may be more complete nowadays.

Here is an old video of Rossman talking about it https://youtu.be/8cJj8PUY0DU

no vulcanoes aren't a location with thinner crust, but a place where a bubble of magma is stuck in the crust, because of a hotspot or because of subduction or other reasons. When the pressure is too high, or there are forces that push the magma upwards, it "leaks" some magma, some times violently, some times no, like in Hawaii. An inactive volcano probably has a bubble without enough pressure to release it, and that has no upward forces nor a way of building more pressure.

Fairphone with CalyxOS is what I'm going with

you didn't downvote yourself though

Framework has the 16 coming out this year, with gpu

You can also use normal android on it, it does come with stock option too

Hoping there will be a way to integrate it with kbin soon!

it didn't work, but after a bit it started working again, pretty wild

Mhm, but it doesn't sound great. If you forget it's on, you put it in a backpack to then get it out at around 300 degrees. Sounds like a very bad idea.

Yes I do, 1070, I've posted more details of my system in an answer and in the main thread. But I use the proprietary drivers not nouveau

Not really, communism is about owning the produce of your work, that can be achieved in different ways, one for example (the main one) is by democratising the work place, which at the moment is run in a feudal and authoritarian manner. Where you work and your employer owns what you do, similar to how the feudal system would function.

In this case communism would be more democratic than our current system.

I haven't actually done it yet, it's the plan for my next phone.

I should have written "I'm going to go with"

as I said, you can buy a Fairphone that isn't degoogled, the degoogled version is an option is not mandatory. If you have those requirments but still want to use a Fairphone, you can buy one that fullfills them.

should I just add the class parameter in these files where it is usually supposed to be, and the files even on updates will not be changed and this will work?

no I have an MSI, but I hope in some ways this script helps people that might know more about it.

It seems too long to copy paste here

It was but it got reenabled, I disabled it again but it still doesn't work damn. I'll post the Intel I gathered on the Linux mint forum (I did in the past but now I have more information)

me too, but it still didn't work. :/

It wasn't as widespread as initially feared

Oh I didn't know, but I would think that you could regoogle it

I'm not managing to get it to work on the submenu entry, only on the efi one. Don't know why

Additionally I've not recieved any notifications from the answers to this thread, is it normal?

Protonmail + Duckduckgo's email service, which links to a preexistent email (proton in my case) and allows you to clear trackers from emails and to use randomly generated email adresses.

Edit: only now realized that you asked for client, welp, I use proton's client, but I've been considering using thunderbird lately

Hopefully United Staters get the FP4 and we get the FP5

how do I check the name? because iwlwifi doesn't work

daje, grazie! (thanks!)

thanks

there were 2 scripts that semeed related to that: 10_linux_proxy and 35_linux_proxy.
There is a folder called proxified scripts, and inside it there are two files: linux and os-prober

Here is the text in the linux file: https://textdoc.co/V3atnuEvcG4QlPUp

I'm not sure what to do with it

it's not working, also I don't know why when I went in that line I have a \ now, that wasn't there before apparently, before $menuentry:

echo "submenu '$(gettext_printf "Advanced options for %s" "${OS}" | grub_quote)' \$menuentry_id_option 'gnulinux-advanced-$boot_device_id' {"

(I've tried adding it also in front of ${CLASS}, leaving it only were it is, and removing it from both)

What generates is this, so I think it's from the linux proxy 35:

### BEGIN /etc/grub.d/35_linux_proxy ###
submenu "Advanced Options"{
menuentry "Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-91-generic" --class ubuntu --class gnu-linux --class gnu --class os $menuentry_id_option 'gnulinux-5.15.0-91-generic-advanced-9e121508-86c8-407a-803d-9521d13f0be9' {
		recordfail
	savedefault
		load_video
		gfxmode $linux_gfx_mode
		insmod gzio
		if [ x$grub_platform = xxen ]; then insmod xzio; insmod lzopio; fi
		insmod part_gpt
		insmod ext2
		search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root 9e121508-86c8-407a-803d-9521d13f0be9
		echo	'Loading Linux 5.15.0-91-generic ...'
		linux	/boot/vmlinuz-5.15.0-91-generic root=UUID=9e121508-86c8-407a-803d-9521d13f0be9 ro
		echo	'Loading initial ramdisk ...'
		initrd	/boot/initrd.img-5.15.0-91-generic
}

...more entries here

The linux proxy file has this inside it:

#!/bin/sh
#THIS IS A GRUB PROXY SCRIPT
'/etc/grub.d/proxifiedScripts/linux' | /etc/grub.d/bin/grubcfg_proxy "+'SUBMENU' as 'Advanced Options'{+'Advanced options for Ubuntu'/*, +'Advanced options for Ubuntu'/'Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-75-generic'~28ff24c064536ab0cd3a1bad9f456e69~, +'Advanced options for Ubuntu'/'Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-75-generic (recovery mode)'~712228d18fab4e59226cce8b4f0d3d91~, +'Advanced options for Ubuntu'/'Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-73-generic'~f31b2a265d0dfef1fd439595ac77a493~, +'Advanced options for Ubuntu'/'Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-73-generic (recovery mode)'~303762cfd1fb902e0cab98046932d096~, +'Advanced options for Ubuntu'/'Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-72-generic'~b5308959171659a00cb9ad96851ff6a6~, +'Advanced options for Ubuntu'/'Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-72-generic (recovery mode)'~30bf9c9d00d0afd9a6bbd4056b36d94e~, +'Advanced options for Ubuntu'/'Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-56-generic'~a76a35ca20f2ed58db39dc7b60a1f7a6~, +'Advanced options for Ubuntu'/'Ubuntu, with Linux 5.15.0-56-generic (recovery mode)'~7e2e93487d695fdce68a6355544c0cee~}

I've thinkered with this problem in the past, so I believe I did try restarting the network service, but I'm not sure I did

it's a laptop :(

I too have the Intel card because the killer one had shitty software, how do I shut down fastboot fully???

yeah it showed on lspci but not on rfkill. It reset by itself at a certain point, dunno how or why.
