Buy a second monitor with the same space

Amazing to see, as I look further into these platforms such as Lemmy and Mastodon I love them more and more as they seem to be so much more freeing than current mainstream platforms on the market.

Thank you, I will check this out. Yeah I didn't know if it would work fully like Spotify or some other way as currently, the Fediverse doesn't have a fully paid way yet.

You mean like !peertube@lemmy.ml ?

of the community? or the instance? as I'm not sure how to find one on the instance

Engaging isn't that bad, I guess it depends on what people are posting as well as what sort of comes from it.

Oh I didn't release there was that much difference between Kbin and Lemmy, I knew they were similar but I didn't release they sort of work together a bit more.

I like the UI of Threads sure but never been a huge user of Twitter or Reddit. haven't really been a user of Social Media but I do find Lemmy a lot more freeing in the chatting sort of way.

Maybe if the remaining users that are still on twitter need to jump ship just to really set in stone the amount of user drop off they might have. That or upload tones of photos and videos to try and overload there servers.

I've just created my kbin account now, I'll give it a good go, been enjoying Lemmy the most as of the moment but if I can find a platform that works even better for me then that would be great.

Send him a text "Where you at?"

Seems like they done a good job to me

No I haven't thank you, I was more asking about like getting other peoples posts across to Lemmy not just my own but that is amazing that you can do that, at least till Reddit decides to crack down even further

As you mentioned due to the API changes everything is dying in reddit. Also why use Reddit at this point, use something like Lemmy / Kbin, sure communities are still small but the more people that use it the better it will grow.

Ok thank you

Sort of yeah, just if there's still engagement in comments, how much comments to posts would make sense to be a 'successful' account in most peoples eyes or at least trustworthy.

I didn't know if having to many posts would just be really bad if you had say 2 comments to 100 posts or something. It's just a curious question tbh

Thanks just found it

Soft of yeah, like a archived log of all things Reddit for people that might want to move over and don't want to loose what the community was before. As some communities on here seem to be that small with only like 5 posts max.

Messaged them now

It was alright I guess the first week, but really the big part that interested me was the Fediverse, and I really do hope people jump off Threads to come use other platforms.

Some might not and I wish Meta goes by there work and does Fediverise to allow those users to use the wider Fediverse

That sounds so cool, why didn't it get transferred over?

It's good to see that there are

Pretty much what I thought it was like, but what about Kbin?

That's good to know, Guess a lot of the people who write helpful information has decided to use Lemmy instead.

Yeah, I don't think it would be a huge platform with every song but it would be nice to know if they have something like that out there,

Thanks, Guess we need to grow our Gaming community more on the platform. Maybe I'll try and contribute to the current games I'm playing and find the communities for them.

Nope there isn't just the mods on it.

I pretty much agree, I find being able to flip between communities more useful than just having a feed of the same like-minded people, you explained it really well thanks.

Yeah that's fair enough, So it would have to be people that want to look up certain things or do certain things that need to sort of move first such as maybe certain games or topics.

TBH not a bad idea, might create my own menu to get to Lemmy & Mastodon. Also love the background gradient.

I'm a Lesbian hun, I only go one way lol

Yeah I seem to get a lot of quick answers on here and they seem to be very good, reddit still has good answers but are normally slower on the active answering compared to Lemmy / Kbin

Yeah 20 years worth of content helps, I really do hope we end up with it all on here and people prefer using Kbin / Lemmy in the future.

Yeah, It's good to see that people really want to push a community to grow.

Yeah that is a fair point, hopefully as it seems like people on Lemmy & Kbin are more active than Reddit users, we should hopefully see these communities grow a lot more to the point of passing Reddit numbers.

Sounds like an interesting ratio, I'll have to see if I can get it to 5.243 for a while.

Scraping the old content is not a bad idea knowing that the information can be on a place that you might feel is better for the long run makes sense, But makes sense that you wouldn't want to spend so much time moving every little bit across.

I guess the golden ratio works lol

Thanks that's good to know, I'll try and keep active as much as possible to get more and more out there over time <3
