So fucking brazenly perverse.

The window of success for trusting reddit for product recommendations was just destroyed. What fucking idiots. They can't seek out clients instead of posting to the world that they try to manipulate their users?

They are trying to point to subs dedicated to making smart purchases as an opportunity to advertise for whoever pays? Good fucking luck. They are going to crash their whole model into the ground and they don't care. This is an IPO play to get rich and RUIN the site.

Don't use chrome

That'll be $10.

They locked their keys inside their program and had to break in.

Hey look a rational person.

You hypothetically showed them.

I bet her dad was a party clown who was hoping this would happen.

Like where the fuck do you get all of these assumptions from?

I don't know but there is a commercial property bubble right now. I've heard speculation that said investors want their commercial property loans to stay far away from default. They need commercial property to be worth more because loans are in danger of not being repaid.

Divide every bank balance by zero

My subscribed feed has top posts from days ago. Specific communities like virtual reality or mountain biking or classical guitar are basically empty.

That said I don't use reddit and consider my boutique feed a sacrifice to the internet gods until lemmy has more population.

Because we have a spine?

Why would you assume a new method would have the exact same success rate as different methods?

Holy shit my job is worthless

Source?

Metaverse might have something. Too bad their new hardware will have drm bullshit so I'll never know.

I mean this isn't far from the truth

When im desperate for information and all I'm getting are ai generated article results, I will still resort to appending to reddit to my Google searches but otherwise I've deleted everything on reddit and keep up with major current events and bad memes here on lemmy. It really could be a better experience but it's better than... well... endorsing reddits decisions.

I'm going to email these to my nephew

But why would you want to hang out at a clothing store?

The ads were terrible.

Because they made the right choice for the goals they set out to reach. The lack of agency is just a playful way of writing.

Fuck yes. Go set some precedent.

Heuristics sure are fun. Unfortunately they are often wrong and thinking things out is better. Maybe don't broadcast strong opinions for things you don't know anything about. It's a lonely life here on Lemmy but there are other ways to get attention and validation than instantiating some opinion that you've held long enough to type it out.

Phew we almost had an original comment chain there

Solution now. Better solution later.

Thank you for the data bro

The pop culture references aren't interwoven into a story. Everything revolves around the theme decided for an episode, like cryptocurrency or something.

There arent events from the universe or born of characters emotion... it's just this linear march forward where the writers have x amount of time to cram in jokes surrounding a certain topic.

It's pretty pathetic. I could write better Futurama.

For sure let us know when it's done

My wife and I make a decent amount but when she went to have an opinion on wrist pain, we have no answers and after one test we have paid nearly 2 thousand dollars after copay. The doctor says we can try the next thing if we want. It's fucking ridiculous. How can anyone afford Healthcare in the US?

When this picture was taken it was 55 degrees Fahrenheit

Microsoft usually calls me in the evenings for their maintenance fees I will ask them

The needs of body must be met and then the rest of my time is fair game. I mean being legit healthy not mainlining soylent.

ok brb

We can't know. And that's fine.

Whatever started the physical process that created us is pretty fucking crazy. I bet it's a simulation.

So many people in this thread were traumatized from church lol. God isn't inherently a bad or stupid idea... just depends on how you define God.

I was curious about this kind of idea. Isn't all reddit content owned by reddit, and isnt pasting their intellectual property onto a different platform not really super legal? (I fully support it)

Being able to extract all of the question/answer threads on reddit to boost the value of lemmy from a search index perspective seemed too good to be true as a solution.

There's nothing wrong with doing what's expected of you. At any time I can give up my career and coast at the expense of my stability but I never choose that option. That doesn't mean I'm not making the decision to continue to work.

If you have an option to keep my free time and financial stability then I'm listening.

EDIT: okay nevermind I refuse to derail such a thoughtful comment.
