Not too advocate too heavily for steam (it's your pc and I get having lines in the sand) as with all things you can disable auto start and auto updates pretty trivially as far as I know.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's because their stock data and viewing is pretty mature and a lot of people would go for that alone.
I usually don't have headphones handy and don't want the noise (or already am watching something else passively)
I pretty much bounce off any video link so a dinner is a big help (and may even get me to take the effort to watch the video)
Just bought and played through Pony Island. $.75 and 2.5 hours later, a nice little experience.
3Blue 1Brown actually explains that one in a way that makes it seem less coincidental and black magic. Totally worth a watch
I really am that dumb. Edited.
No I'm just dumb. I'll edit it
How hard is it to convert a project to Godot? I'm about a year in on one in unity but getting cold feet over their pricing changes.
I did the same, but it was helpful because I'm terrible at memorization.
I suspect the answers coming from Lemmy will be pretty skewed coming from Lemmy.
It would be nice if the poll allowed secondary answers or something too.
That's all I want anyways though it would be cool to speak another language.
In my case it's because I'm too far along in my project and would lose probably a years worth of work. My next project will be Godot or something else though
Oh thank God, I misunderstood and was shocked by the barbarism.
Too be fair, if the source is on GitHub then anyone can download it and build it without too much worry of unity's recent fuckery.
Can I unplug the night light?
What a great idea. Here's a lemon for ya 🍋
Don't lemonade it all in one place 😉
If I didn't have a beard I look like a q-tip. Not my fault I didn't have hair on the top.
That's not nothing though. Use cases like YouTube or archival work absolutely had a use case for read only
It's only kind of a rogue like from what I could tell. It doesn't really have permanent death, though the dungeons are random each time you enter so if you die in one you need to start anew in there.
It's cool though
I have sort of an inverted souls hot take. My least favorite part is the souls games are boss fights, and eldin rings open world made the game's exploration and non boss progression too easy.
It's easy to overlook because of the graphics, but Caves of Qud is a really interesting game that fits your criteria.
It's hard to explain just what it really is or what makes it great, but it has a good mixture of generated and written content that keeps it interesting.
It was in pc, so not a console game but it was called KidPix I think and it was pretty cute. Lots of funny brushes and you could even make simple sprite animations
He looks like he'd piss on something he's not supposed to. Give him lots of pats for me ok? I'm sure he's being his best self.
I had a Fisher Price pirates point and click adventure when I was... 6? I adored it so that I guess. Also there was a Muppets Treasure Island point and click adventure from back in the day. I'm sure that counts and is what you're looking for.
Chicks are baby chickens. All hens and roosters are chickens. Does that answer your question?
I didn't know it was nedroid. I love their shit
Seconding Sable.
I recommend that one too everyone though.
Everything I see from this game just looks better and better. I am so heckin stoked.
So you're saying that drinking the blood of others isn't cannibalism? Asking for a friend.
The combat far and away is the weakest portion of TotK, as it was in BotW. They did nothing to make it less tedious. The enemies are damage sponges and weapons are brittle toothpicks.
I think long term I will think back with more fondness to the much shorter open world game without combat called Sable. That game is worth playing if you're feeling burnout and want a shorter, completable experience.
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy was pretty cool too. Sad we never got a sequel for that one. Not that you really played it for the story but there is always something a little sad about a cliff hanger that never gets resolved.
My copy was bugged and just froze about half way through. Finally had to bite the bullet on that one and find a GameCube ROM to finish it.
This game is great. I don't usually play city builders and I have 80 hours in it or something. Really fun to pick up for an hour or two when you want something that is challenging but also chill.
FLT - Five Lights at Teddy's
I'm not sure I exactly agree. I feel like it would be a better game than botw if I hadn't already played botw. Still suffered from most of the same problems.
Also the combat is so bad it encouraged you to avoid it whenever possible.
It's ok, if you want to see some gameplay you can probably watch the previous game.
I like Ryujinx because it's focus on doing things the "Switch" way. In so much as it has better mod support for things that require the Switches OS and not just skin mods
I can still have fun with open world games, but I think I appreciate smaller ones more.
Long term I'm going to have much better memories of the 30 hours I put into Sable than I am the 200 or whatever it is of TotK.
Seriously, people should try sable. It's like a toned down botw in the desert without combat. Such a super chill game with an interesting world.
Hell yeah, sounds like a great idea.
It looks pretty cool, but why is it missing a numpad? That's kind of a big deal, even for people who just want to play games.
E. g. Caves of Qud is designed to move with num keys. And playing a fighting game on keyboard is way better with them too.
Consider it a brand of honor.
