Yes but that one guy is an idiot as people have died from drinking less than a quart. https://www.forbes.com/sites/matthewherper/2015/03/27/no-its-not-safe-to-drink-weed-killer-on-camera-but-who-cares/

The biggest consequence was a settlement payment to those mistreated. Which didn't come out of the police budget or pension so basically they got to force the taxpayer to bail them out for their incompetence after the government already paid over a billion dollars for extra security.

I keep a light up plastic sword beside my bed for this very reason. The same fun for a tenth of the cost and it hangs nicely on my towel rack while I pee.

I haven't gagged this hard at a picture on the internet since my last look at the original rotten.com over 20 years ago. Good job OP!

The mask is just there to hide that we're a vassal state of the USA.

This simply isn't true at all and I have no idea why you would even make that up. Pine is the most diverse family of conifers with over 800 different species, many of which are used in a variety of cuisine and teas. I've been chewing on white pine needles all my life as they're known to be rich in vitamins and help reduce dehydration.

Then there's the fact that almost all species of pine produce edible nuts. The species that produce the largest nuts are cultivated for commercial sale which is why you can find pine nuts in high end grocery stores and fine cuisine.

Swimming, cooking, and self defense are the big ones I always bring up. All three will likely be really useful throughout your life.

You may not feel the need to learn to defend yourself depending on how safe your area is, but I still think its more important than people realize. Learning the physical skills as well as deescalation techniques taught in martial arts can easily save your life as well as others.

This is really disappointing. The game does give off GOTY vibes until you realize big issues like only having one save file you can fully control, intentially vague dialogue for key quest details, and bad AI. All of which just happens to encourage mistakes that can only be fixed using items which are very limited without microtransactions. Its like an MBA took over in the final phase of development and made it a sleazy moneygrab. The fact that it is a hit means we can expect more developers to adopt this tactic and take it further. Capcom has become EA.

Thankfully I was able to get a refund on Dragons Dogma and used that money to buy Rise of the Ronin. Was not disappointed. They are very similar games but Rise of the Ronin has all the QoL features gamers have come to expect like unlimitted fast travel and saves.

Dating apps work fine if you know how to date. Met my wife on PoF. Never had any issues getting dates on any of the programs and I'm a 5/10 at best.

If you have a very unique profile and provide thoughtful engagement to potential dates, you will find a partner eventually. I know it can feel like a slog sometimes, but it's still a lot less bullshit than you'd get dating random strangers the old way.

I would love to see this happen, but only if the wall was built exclusively through the labour of the people who proposed it. The Canada-USA border is the largest unguarded land border on the planet for reasons beyond the goodwill between our nations. Features along it like the Great Lakes and the Rocky Mountains make building a wall impossible. Thankfully reality doesn't matter to Republicans so they could be convinced to try.

Pretty sure The Most Unwanted Song takes the cake on that front. It has bagpipes and opera rap! Good luck listening all the way through. https://youtu.be/-gPuH1yeZ08?si=NRXK7GH9qnDbGt3H

Nike for the win!

I think you're confusing the hemlock tree https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsuga

With poison hemlock https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conium_maculatum

The tree makes the best bedtime tea I've ever had. The herb is a common poison notorious for killing Socrates. You're still technically accurate, but they're very different plants.

Last time I saw it was on 5g of mushrooms and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

If you enjoy turn based rpgs, you really should give them a try. Infinite Wealth is especially good and you don't need to have played previous games to enjoy it. Not only do they do an amazing job of being funny or dramatic in all the right places, but there is such a wealth of content that you'll regularly get lost in side quests and minigames on your way to completing story tasks.

Not sure about a decrease, but you can easily get it fully refunded if they fuck up. I tip really well because I used to be a food courier myself. Every few months some idiot delivers my pizza upside down or leaves my order outside my building and I get my tip refunded with ease. I have no idea if that money is refunded from the dasher's pay though.

I appreciate the reasoned response. Maybe by the end of the game the pay items don't feel limited, but they did in the first 20 hours I played before returning it.

If I was disappointed solely at the sales compared to my dislike then you're right to think its nonsense. What I'm disappointed in is a business I have loyally and regularly purchased from for over 30 years compromising their product and making it worse to try and fleece more money. I also worry deeply that the game selling well despite the flak means every major developer will find their own way to follow suit and refine the tactic until it becomes the norm.

Didn't know you can get Battahl in 2 hours. You may be a speedrunner, but don't assume others are too.

Sure if 20 hours in isn't far. I was at Battahl when I returned the game

I was pointing out the idiocy of your petty assumption by stating I was at Battahl. Pretty sure its impossible to get there in only two hours.

It absolutely is. Wakestones are limited without microtransactions and there are plenty of poorly explained quests where one could easily kill something they shouldn't. It happened to me. I even saved right before to try and be safe only for the game to autosave over the second the npc attacked me. The only save you have full control over is your second save tied to the inns, which are expensive and inferior to camping due to the buffs camping provides.
