Apparently they are working on a part 2. Peter stormare is confirmed to return as well.

I talked to someone working at a game store (gamemania in the Netherlands). The stores also buy and sell second hand games. I commented on the amount of fifa games on the shelves and they told me the storage in the back just has massive stacks of every fifa game of the last 10 years or so. Apparently they will literally buy every functioning game you want to sell them.

The chain is also close to bankruptcy, probably not related. But it's a shame because I really do like walking through them and looking through the games they have. They actually have xbox360, wii and ps3 games on shelves.

I've been done with school for a hot minute now but here (Netherlands) they started in the last years at elementary school, around age 11. And then some more later in highschool roughly age 14.

Elementary was taught by a cop. Mostly sensible stuff and the risks. Nothing weird but like "weed isn't physically addictive but it can be mentally addictive, also you're probably smoking it and that ain't great." or how xtc is not that dangerous on its own but often there's junk mixed in. They also told us you can get your xtc tested by the government, anonymously. And yeah you actually don't get in trouble believe it or not.

I think it worked because they made it so unexciting that most people I know stay away from anything but weed and even then lots of people try it and never do it again.

And something like a time capsule to burry the camera in.

I'm reading this while laying on my right side in my bed. So I suppose I bounce on the bed then. Seems fun!

I had a taxi driver once who's last name was snel. Which is Dutch for fast or quick or speed.

Alive by Pearl Jam is about a guy who's dad ended up not being his dad because his real dad died. The guy looks a lot like his dad and his mom misses his dad so the mom tries to have sex with the guy.

Most people just hear the "I'm still alive" and think it's a victorious song. But the I'm still alive part is meant as a sad statement.

I heard about the knee inflation thing on a podcast. They looked into it and it just seemed to be one guy on the entire internet with that fetish. Which is impressive on its own.

My dad has a 65+ year old tube radio that still works great. Sounds amazing too. It was my grandfather's radio and it's older than my dad is we're not sure how old it is exactly.

Yeah! Where are those good old-fashioned values?

So using the Dunning-Krueger effect to prove how smart you are is an example of the Dunning-Krueger effect?

Well I didn't expect to survive anyways

We know, the EU also told meta to behave. Meta then threatened to leave and everyone was like "ok, when?". Because we'll just switch to the next best thing. So meta behaved. Sort of, it's an ongoing thing.

Captain Holt in brooklyn 99. He's both black and gay but the most standout thing about him is how he is extremely precise and organised and how he shows very little emotion.

He's portrayed by Andre Braugher who sadly enough past away last year.

More positivity. Or more positivity upvoated maybe. Basically it seems like complaining and negative posts get way more attention than positive ones.

For example I keep seeing a lot of posts from the Linux community that aren't about cool Linux things but about how bad Microsoft/Windows is. Note that I don't follow said community so I only see the stuff that reaches the frontpage.

More posts and communities about just genuinely cool stuff would make lemmy a lot more fun to browse.

I looked it up through the link somebody shared on the comments here and the admin is a neonazi.

I'm also Dutch and honestly I think part of it is the amount of subtitled English tv I watched when I was young. I tried the same with German struggled finding things to watch.

If you look at Germany or France they often dub over stuff while we subtitle everything.

My dad found a OG gameboy in a train when I was a kid so when I actually played tetris lol. Close my eyes and see the bricks fall. (which is what the tetris effect is.)

Then I had it with Mario Kart, close my eyes and see the track move.

And the weirdest thing is when I finally got properly used to vr and played 3 hours of half-life: Alyx straight. I had to physically touch a wall to convince a part of my mind that this was real life, and not vr.

I use an MX and I have arthritis. It's one of the few mice I can use for a long time without my hands hurting.

Also play borderlands, get weapon that shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger, set fire to scroll wheel and blast your way through hordes of enemies with free scroll lol.

Do I look like i mind get fridged?

Honestly I'm engaging more on lemmy in comments but if you manage to create a nice list of fun subs to follow on reddit a lot of complaints about bots and stuff are less problematic. Then again I also follow some Dutch subs and they seem to have less bots with the language barrier and all.

Lemmy does seem to be more negative though. A lot of doom and gloom here. I'm not really into Linux but I'll admit that windows and Microsoft ain't great. However the amount of complaining about how shit Microsoft is on stead of being enthusiastic about Linux baffles me. And you see these things in other communities too. The reddit helldivers community seems to be a bunch of memes and the lemmy oke a bunch of complaints.

Then again my comments seem to actually reach people on Lemmy so I am more active here.

I had the same problem with the 2018 tomb raider. Lara Crofts dad spends years surviving in a cave on an island and has perfect fucking teeth.

There are bow trials being done with legally grown weed. Meaning it's a government run weed farm.

Was this added for the shrek 4D movie thing? I saw that in an amusement park once. The dragon sneezes in your face.

I quite like stromae on occasion. And I'm a fan of rammstein, but while I don't speak German I do understand it reasonably well so I'm not sure that counts

His brother (Jezza) is a great artist and while I don't know much about him I don't think he's anything like shad. I regularly see him cooperate on a warhammer channel called tabletop time and they have videos about women in the warhammer scene (made by one of their female members). So I highly doubt those two have much in common.
