That link is showing lemmy.world as blocked. I'm still new to all this but isn't that a reputable instance?

They're completely separate but in time it's likely one will be in favor over the other.

Also I just edited "lost" to "post" but I'm not seeing that change either. Maybe it saved, maybe it didn't..
