I love spending time with myself because I have no friends. :/
A black raven migrating from Reddit.
I love spending time with myself because I have no friends. :/
Instead, You can pretend to be someone hot!
Karachi? A fellow Pakistani on Fediverse?
I'm so sorry for your loss. My wishes are with you, I'm really really sorry. The grief of losing a life partner must be utterly devastating. I hope you find peace.
Yeah, I'm with you, Open source forever over the Monopoly of Few Corporations on the Web. Thanks for the reply, Lemmy Creator.
I hate them. I fucking hate them.
Great. Love to see Fediverse working as intended. I guessed because your comment has the username tagged of the person you're replying to.
Man, me too, I want to leave Instagram so badly. Not that I'm addicted to reels or anything, I just can't seem to go through with the deletion period. Even as I am typing this, it's on deletion period, and I'm gonna reactivate it again probably. I hate Instagram because it seems fake, people flaunt their lives like trophies and I hate, hate it. And because I am against Megacorps. Fuck Musk and Zuck, and spez.
Yeah, the work that you guys have put into this platform deserves to be acknowledged and appreciated. Personally, I love it, and thank you both for doing the brilliant work. I'm been here only a month, and even I've seen it grow. All the new apps, and few of Reddit's apps transferring to Fediverse, and the new communities popping up. I'm optimistic about Lemmy, and Fediverse. Thanks for the reply.
Oh. Karachi is the biggest city in Pakistan, a country in South Asia.
I'm confused, it's on Monday, How? In my Time Zone, it's 4 hours to Monday, So, they'll start answering then? Edited: Also, I love your Username.
My family. I guess I appreciate my family the most because it is the most important thing in my life. I'm not in Western countries where there's too much focus on individualism, and unique identities, and whatnot. But, in my culture, it could be said that family is the most important part of one's life. I am Pakistani, and a Baloch after that. Hope that helps.
That's cool. I'm SiyahGuraag, btw, how's it going?
If we're going with actual names, then, I'm Rafii. I'm from Pakistan. It's so so hot here. Deathly heat.
Hey, were you replying to another comment? I don't understand the first part of your comment. Huge thanks if you explain a little bit more. Also, I want to say that the people I follow on Instagram are my friends, one who post actively. These same friends I meet everyday in my University. It feels tiresome[personally, for me], to follow them online as well since I spend a quarter of my day with them in University. I don't know If I explained correctly or not, it made sense or not. Also, I am not a huge people person, I keep to myself and would like it if people kept to themselves, too, and not display their lives online.
Me? Hot? No, not at all.
Oh. It's so great that you don't want to die anymore. Now that you explain it, it seems not as bad as before not having friends. Maybe I could tell something about me as well. When I finished College(12 Years Education) in my country, I had terrible mood swings, I had a terrible crush on one person for literally 4 years, and Since, I couldn't be with this person, I was tormented just at the sight of that person. Now that, I'm in University, I have made good friends, even though, I used to think I have social anxiety, which I've 90% Conquered now. P.S. Sorry about making this about me. Either ignore it, or tell me more about yourself.
Hey, Good luck with that. Try your best.
Dude, that's a beautiful place. Must be a peaceful place.
Beautiful and looks peaceful? Is this OC?
Do we not have flairs yet on Lemmy? There should be a OC flair.
Cool, Cool, Cool.
Hi, are you using Mastodon to reply here, my guy?
::: spoiler spoiler
::: There's a button in my Lemmy App, Summit.
I think Lemmy's Communities are shown as User Accounts on Mastodon, which you can follow. I could be wrong, though, I did read something like that on here.
Me too. I'm into open source and stuff, so much I tried 4 or 5 distros on my potato PC. Yes, seeing Reddit's behavior towards its user made me have a sour feeling toward it. I used to love reddit as it was the only social media platform I was on. Lemmy is fun, and people around here are nice. Also, in What city did your aunt teach in Pakistan?
That's a great idea. I'll try Pixelfed. Thanks.
Yeah, you should. It's great. I don't see alot of people suggesting it though. I see names of Thunder, and Voyager alot. I like Summit's UI and plus it has enough features for me. Highlight Feature: Hide Read posts.
Hey, Queermunist, you can tell me what's going on? On Lemmy, we're all friends and look after each other.
Firstly, I just have appreciation for you and nutomic for this amazing platform that you've created. This has become my favorite source of reading discussions and looking at memes. I know it's small, but I love it and want it to succeed. My question is Do you see Lemmy or any other federated platforms reaching the level of audiences that other big Social Media Platforms currently have? Do you want it to grow big like them, or remain as it is, An amazing platform hidden in one corner of the Web?
