Macron? Centrist? Ahah, nice one.

Musk saying he wants his internet to be used for peaceful thing is pretty funny considering the direction of twitter, and his overall points of view, let alone his blatant disregard for the health and safety of his employees.

I guess peace is another of the words that change depending on the situation, for musk.

helloWorld : '{IO, Exception} ()
helloWorld _ = printLine "Hello World"

I wouldn't call it friendly.

So people kill animals for fun, but when someone suggests using animals to save lives it's evil?

Fix things in logical order and hopefully by then we'll have developed other solutions that do not depend on animals. But don't fight against progress when there are so many horrible and useless things that are allowed at the same time, pick your fights efficiently.

Fighting for a shit government full of crappy politicians is already a weird choice.

Going in other countries to kill random innocent people for the profit of said government is an even weirder one.

They argument is "We are evil, but we don't want to sound evil - it limits recruitments"

The military is accused of following a "woke agenda". If they don't know what it means they cannot be following it.

Doesn't take a lot of brainpower to understand that.

Who doesn't want everything you see to be recorded, all while getting an ad overlay directly over your eyes?

A calculator calculates. An AI bullshits.

The only thing ChatGPT can actually do might be marketing speeches, since they are nonsensical to start with and made by things pretending to be humans.

He ignored his employees saying that the device wasn't ready and forced them to try it on the animals

Except their parents.

There are some stupid fallacies, but this one deserves a medal.

Even though it's hard to tell what is the most stupid, the fallacy or the reasoning behind it.

Pushing a shitty launcher, selling abandoned games, selling incomplete games, putting DRMs on multiplayer, selling a lot of low quality games, not expanding their overworked team despite the profits they make, etc. It got much worse with the success of the Witcher3 and has kept on going down.

I think there's even a browser extension that is used to mark shitty games on gog, that have missing features or DRMs. Funny for a platform that has the motto of selling hand-picked, DRM-free games.

You're just proving what I said.

Also, if you think that sexual assault doesn't happen when there are witnesses, you're either delusional or living in an alternate universe.

Dilemma? What dilemma?

Never side with the victims, huh?

Edit: for people reading this, just look at the profile of this "person" and move on, don't waste your time.

Tell me you have no clue about video games without telling me you have no clue about video games.

It cannot "work". Even if it succeeded technically speaking, you cannot expect such a device to be secure (as no device is, and certainly not one made by Musk).

Now computerised cars are already an increasing risk in giving new ways to commit murder without being caught, but if you directly put a security risk in your brain, I am pretty sure that many people will jump on the occasion.

After reading your comments...

What a stupid piece of shit you are.

=> Big corps are the problem

Excuse me, but... What is this braindead piece of crap?

"Nazi" is the word

Big or not, they talked about great games, and there are many incredible open source games, however not always very popular.

I mean, technically even games like morrowind could be called open source now, with Open Morrowind.

You can be a self-center, shitty being without any empathy or knowledge, it doesn't make your opinion a valid one.

Yes but that's not what people think. They use it as a search engine, a programmer and a teacher. This is my problem, they use it as something it absolutely isn't and base their opinions, knowledge and work on that.

Unless you are a rock, your brain processes information to extract meaning from it. AIs don't.

If anything, people who like chatGPT are the ones ignorant of how it works (spoiler: it doesn't).

And kids with their understanding of technology being limited to youtube and tiktok have no clue about what an AI is. They see it, like most people, as a magic black box that is incredibly smart. Apart from being a black box, none of that is true.

Well try to talk to a few women and you'll see that sexual assault is extremely common and that assaulters don't give a shit about the place, time and situation.

And surgeons are not really known for their superior morality either.

If only these people didn't have so much money to waste, they'd be safe. Karma?

Multiplayer crack? You just need the clean files and Goldberg, why bother searching for a crack?

6 more...

Goldberg emulator. Open source, you put it to replace steam's api dll, and you can configure it for multiplayer. So you just need clean steam files of the game, and an properly configured goldberg, and the multiplayer works.

Configuration can be a bit of a hassle I guess, but less than editing the source of the game and compiling it.

Because the marketing of apple has been the one of a sect for years. Good if it's changing.

It does not work. At most it looks like it works.

A human brain is able to understand and process information. An AI simply calculates a mathematical function. There is no reasoning and no understanding of anything, all that ChatGPT does is try to look like a human. And by "try to look like a human", I mean "generate sentences that can be believable, on shape, to be written by a human".

If you ask it to calculate 2+2, and then tell it that it is equal to 5, it won't see any problem because it doesn't understand any of it. But it will give you answers that are, grammatically speaking, reasonably human.

If I ask a rock how much is 2+2 and I throw it, and it bounces 4 times, it does not mean that this rock knows how to count. ChatGPT and similar are just better illusions, but they're nothing more.

So you're a piece of shit basically?

Well the people reporting these issues don't seem to think they're irrelevant. You do sound like quite a fanboy, frankly.

If they have done that, then they didn't fix anything and didn't do their job. On the contrary, new games being published on GoG have more of the same kind of issues. You're just defending GoG irrationally.

It's a weird edge case that is between killing and assisted suicide, assuming there is consent.

Euthanasia without consent seems not so humane to me, but once again it is an edge case that is still hard to define.

There is a difference, but if you start saying that shooting an invader is humane, you have a serious problem.

You can just use port forwarding, and use the broadcast_ips (if I'm not misremembering the name) setting on your friend's config to try to connect to your public IP.

If you are on windows, the experimental version of the emulator has an overlay (a bit like steam) that allows you to see if you are detecting the other player a bit more easily, and to invite them with just a click (like on steam).

Since it is then direct connection you shouldn't have any overhead lag unlike with hamachi and the like.

I just use pamac. Almost never have to use pacman directly, except if somehow something broke with pamac, which is rare.

Your friend cannot port forward either? I guess you could try to setup a wireguard link between you and your friend too, ahould be faster than hamachi.
