I made an account on both kbin.social and Lemmy and use jerboa to browse Lemmy on mobile.

I haven't been on reddit in a week, and have deleted my account so on the occasions that I do end up there I won't be adding to their content or participating.

I think it's mainly about introducing new users to the fediverse and making it easier to understand, I'm glad I found out about this stuff and am happy to learn more.

Settled on kbin for now, but I'm having trouble getting my head around finding communities.

Is there a place where I can browse existing communities and subscribe to the ones that interest me?

I know you can search but that's only if you know what you're looking for.
