The Tron-inspired Cybertruck failed in a catastrophic accident because apparently the super powered x-treem window wipers were turbo maxed to the power of RAD.

Oh yes the Chinese Communist Party, the cake and eat it too party, where it somehow is able to access global markets and benefit from international trade rules, freely able to meddle in international affairs while embellishing its own interests.

It's mind blowing how the desperation of late stage capitalism allows the CCP to operate within these frameworks.

Threats of violence, sounds like a Jordan MOB call. Guess Jimmy hasn’t changed his attitude much since helping to orchestrate January 6th for Trump, voting against election results, defending Trump during his impeachment, opposing Trumps investigations, voting to repeal the Affordable Care Act, backing Trumps ridiculous Mexican border wall, backing Trump's efforts to roll back regulations on environmental regulations, financial regulations, and labor regulations... etc etc etc

Not really a win for the casual web user - What Google will stop doing is selling web ads targeted to individual users’ browsing habits, and its Chrome browser will no longer allow cookies that collect that data for the means of selling to third party advertisers.

Meanwhile, Google will still track and target users on mobile devices, and it will still target ads to users based on their behavior on its own platforms, which make up the majority of its revenue and won’t be affected by the change.

Ad companies that rely on cookies will simply have to find another way to target users.

I'm sure there's no problem here for the company.

Step one: Overinflate the assets of the bail bond company.

Step two: Claim the assets of the company and get loans based on those inflated values.

Step three: If found to be fraudulent in said valuation, take it to court.

Step four: Go back to step one.

It blows my mind that this corrupt family is still in power.

"it’s not known whether the leak came from within the company or one of its vendors."

Isn't it time that big tech companies and their sale of private data get regulated? I see a giant class-action lawsuit in the making here.

Seems a bit rich after their last supreme leader is facing 91 felony charges across 4 criminal indictments.

Given that Googles estimated annual revenue is between 160 - 180 billion, that 74 million is only 0.04625% (if taken from the lower estimate) I'm sure they would chalk it up to just the price of doing business.

Unfucking believable, also the grift continues "Avast has been acquired by Gen Digital, a firm that contains Norton, Avast, LifeLock, Avira, AVG, CCLeaner, and ReputationDefender, among other security businesses."

I see a pattern here..

One of the primary methods Hitler employed to control the media was censorship. Upon assuming power, he established the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda.

The Ministry implemented strict censorship policies, ensuring that only content aligned with Nazi ideology was allowed to be disseminated. Any dissenting voices or information critical of the regime were met with threats of sovereign rights, property and freedom of speech suppressed, those who were found guilty were often eliminated altogether.

I also read that they only have 138 million in cash to cover the 175 mil bond, even despite being outside of the jurisdiction of NY.

I can't see anything wrong with this approach, in fact in my mind this is a giant step in the right direction.

If consumers are allowed to remove their personal data from all state-based data brokers through a single, verifiable consumer request, I can't see why this law won't snowball into other states once consumers learn about how much data we are unwittingly giving over for free.

Writing from a privacy perspective remember, browser add-ons can potentially make it easier to fingerprint or recognize an individual. But still, I can't help but love this new FF feature.

Should we all believe Trump is in dire trouble anymore? Is this just another "Big Problems" story that Trump will easily shrug off? Thanks to the media saturation, no matter how bad, it has clearly worked to boost his popularity to perfection at this point.

Come on its a walk in the park, everyone knows that Nanosheet GAA transistors behave differently than familiar FinFETs, so EDA and other tool and IP makers had to build their products from scratch. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Great governance! let's allocate more taxes offshore, meanwhile the Pentagon failed a fifth consecutive audit last November, when it could only account for 39 percent of its $3.5 trillion in assets. Nevertheless, the military received $858 billion which is only 10% increase in the last omnibus spending bill, for the record this is not a partisan issue.

https://reason.com/2023/01/18/pentagon-cant-account-for-220-billion-of-gear-given-to-contractors/

And let's not talk about the Feds 3.3 billion dollar spending spree on ridiculously expensive furniture during the pandemic.

https://nypost.com/2023/10/03/federal-agencies-spent-3-3-billion-on-new-furniture-while-employees-worked-from-home-during-covid-pandemic/

The military industrial complex is a money sponge, the Fed cries inflation worries while misappropriating funds and the border wall is simply a distraction, these multifaceted spending bills have become an absurd slush fund source for both sides of the aisle.

The wealth of data collected under the 702 program is imponderable. US intelligence agencies have repeatedly claimed there are no means by which to calculate how often Americans are wiretapped without violating procedures.

But having the means to track down 16 billion of the Sackler family's hidden assets is utterly impossible.

When Google's annual revenue from its search engine is estimated to be around $70 to $80 billion, no wonder there is great concern from big tech about the numerous A.I tools out there, that would spell an end to that fire hose of sweet sweet monetization.

WOW! They can buy a comfortable house in Terre Haute Indiana.

Nice.. I love math presented like this.

For me it's at its best when using it offline and without decent phone signal. I mostly use it off the beaten track, cycling, hiking and when needing to understand the terrain. I wouldn't use it as a substitute for Google maps or Waze though.

So much for the

I can never understand how selling one's information isn't considered a form of payment.

In my country Lemsip Max Cold and Flu Capsules contain a few other ingredients, I'm not sure if they are the same with yours. They say they contain a combination of paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride, and caffeine. I think that the combo helps with congestion as well, and obviously if it has caffeine, so it'll give you a buzz (never in a great way in my opinion) - Basic Paracetamol works for the pain and fever part. It is commonly used to alleviate symptoms such as headache, muscle aches, sore throat, and fever.

Hope you get better soon!

I'm pretty sure Android Automotive uses Google Maps as its default navigation system.

I always think of the saying "it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it", this is a simplified version.

The original quote is “It is better to remain silent at the risk of being thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt” and it is often attributed to Abraham Lincoln, but that part is debatable.

Wasn't Barron riding a fake lion and the toy limo was just that, a small toy limousine. The hot trash interior design is on another level. The portrait is talked about in snopes https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/family-photograph-of-melania-barron-and-donald-trump/
