"The fediverse isn’t ready to take over yet." and I think that it doesn't matter that much. You need to form a community, big or small, but a healthy one, and then make your way from there. Some platforms are, yes, still in early stages, but I think the communities are actually helping developers because they can give the developerse feedbacks about new features, bugs etc. etc.

Well, uhh, these requirements. But idk.

Yeah I've heard Arch is lightweight, but that might happen in like 5 years :D

use MiXplorer or ZArchiver, they are good.
MiXplorer (and it's addons): Google Drive / Beta (mixplorer.com/beta) (or, if you want to support the developer; Google Play Store (includes addons))
ZArchiver: Google Play Store

edit: corrected the layout.

Well, there is Florisboard but it hasn't received an update for about 10 months. (Edit: found out its still developing but I think its sloooooowww)
Openboard is ok.
AnySoftKeyboard is ok.
Simple Keyboard looks too simple.
Eh, i use florisboard. it doesnt exactly suit my needs, but it gets the job done.

Well uhhh, kinda late, but the "original" openboard project hasn't got an update in like, 12 months. There are forks, though.

Fork with glide typing - Haven't received an update in 11 months https://github.com/erkserkserks/openboard

"New" fork: https://github.com/Helium314/openboard

I joined kbin because of the upcoming "death" of Infinity for Reddit. Infinity still works for now, (for free, I mean. But after a while it will be subscription-based) but I joined kbin before the "death" of Infinity because WHY NOT :D

Well uhhhhhhh, when my "laptop"s plug is pulled out or the power goes out, it's dead :D. might need a battery change or an ups...

Linux Mint is the easiest one from the list, but all of them except Solus are fine. I personally recommend Mint or Debian, Debian Sid if you want latest kernel.

No, I don't really need it.

KDE should work fine, maybe with a bit of tweaking?

I thought about that too. If that doesn't work out, Xfce/LXDE/LXQT it is.
