Bought several to share through Family Beta, but the two for me were Bravely Default II and Catlateral Damage. Played the first two Bravely games on the DS, and the other game I got just looks like fun.

As for what I'm playing? Backlog ๐Ÿ˜… When I'm in the mood for story rich I'm playing Death Stranding. When I'm in the mood for just something fun I'm playing Peglin.

I have not

I'm using a pair of Corsair HS55 via Bluetooth without any issues. Got them on sale cheap-ish and I'm happy. Only used the mic when I've had it connected to my phone and been told there's no noticable difference between the headset mic and the phone mic.

Forza Horizon 4 - I had to search to the acronym

Luke Daniels and Andy Serkis both really bring that extra to the books they narrate.

I miss the $50 phones ...

Now it's a payment plan for X number of months for the phone - no interest on the amount, or a free (or reduced price, I think) of the phone if you have Y plan for Z months.

They left her waiting, knowing the baby was already dead, increasing her risk of potentially deadly complications. I see no problem here. The dead baby should have been removed.

She should not be charged with anything. There is medical neglect going on here and it's obvious to me that her life was in jeopardy the longer she carried the dead baby.

I lost my last pregnancy at 20+ weeks due to premature break of my water. I didn't even realize it had happened, the pregnancy was wanted even if it wasn't planned, and I am still dealing with the trauma (and the hospital bills). All I can think of is I'm thankful it happened when it did and my doctor didn't hesitate to induce labor - a medical induced abortion - so my life would be okay. (And I was able to get a copper IUD placed because I know my mental health could not survive the potential loss of another child.)

This poor woman... She is traumatized and our trash legal system wants to fine her and jail her. She needs support and love, not more debt and punishment. I screamed and cried in the hospital surrounded by support medical staff. She was in her bathroom...

This makes my blood boil. The government should have zero say in private medical decisions. Abortion is no one's first choice.

As a mom of a mtf child, it has been hard to reprogram my brain that they are no longer my son, but my daughter. I still love them, support them, and they will always be my baby. This internet stranger is very proud of you and wishes you the best going forward. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ

The Professor would be better cast as the guy Ruby Rod says is stone cold deaf, and who eventually rolls a billiards ball back to Bruce Willis's character (I'm drawing a blank on names this morning).

If anything, Bender would make a better Ruby Rod and could cast Roberto as the flaming bad guy entity.

Hermes would make a good Zorg.

Alrighty, I'm thinking way too much into this. ๐Ÿ˜… I'm stopping now.

This plus hypoglycemia ๐Ÿ™ƒ and that I rarely feel hungry before I'm starving... Thankfully I have my kids who tell me they're hungry so I make myself eat them.

As a woman who still has her uterus and ovaries but who has gone into the "it's dangerous to get pregnant at your age" territory: I'm scared shitless. My last pregnancy ended in a stillbirth and that in and of itself has scared me. I feel horrible for being thankful that it happened months before RvW got overturned. I'm just ready to get everything removed so there's not even an iota of a chance of pregnancy.

Clorox owns Hidden Valley Ranch brand of salad dressings. They also own Burt's Bees cosmetics. I'm unsure which cat litter they own. They also own Kingsford charcoal.

Source: I'm a retail merchandiser who has done several jobs for Clorox the past several months and I've had to run around the store from one department to another for various audits.

Forgot the kitchen sink, but otherwise very accurate.

My 3rd grade teacher recognized me when I was in 12th grade. It's crazy how they remember.

I just had parent rage remembering how my oldest's 1st grade teacher wanted to hold them back just because their handwriting was "awful", and their 2nd grade teacher decided to put all the talkative kids away in their own section so they "wouldn't disturb the good kids" because THEY ALL TALKED TO EACH OTHER! This was also the same teacher that wrote "did you even study?" on a second graders spelling test when they came home with a D (that particular week had been so hard).

Sorry for ranting, but this was prior to oldest being diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia. Sometimes the teachers just see flaws and lable the ND kids as trouble makers or lazy instead of thinking they need extra help. Occupational therapy helped so much with their handwriting, medication and psychotherapy helped with the ADHD, and blue light filters helped with the dyslexia.

I'm sorry you went through all that as a child.

On my lol ๐Ÿ˜‚

I was medicated and mostly asleep. I'm leaving my typo. Love your response. Very true. LoL

I didn't know it was a thing until my second child got it in 2012. He had recently turned 1, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been (baby danger is for those 1 and younger). It took a while, but it cleared up. He was put on an emergency inhaler to help with the symptoms. I'm convinced that the RSV infection plus the fact that he was a small child (25th percentile for height and weight, but otherwise healthy) contributed to him developing asthma. His asthma doctor told me that is a very real possibility (there's no way to know for certain). He's gotten better as he's gotten older, but I'm forever on edge with new respiratory infections.

Business Calendar (by Appgenix Software)

I have multiple Google calendars to keep track of pretty much everything; birthdays, anniversaries, bills, when school is in session (I have kids), scheduled days off, various appointments, etc. I've been using this since 2011/2012 with their first version, and moved over to the 2nd version after that came out. It gives me more control over how my calendar looks on my phone, I can easily toggle calendars and tasks on or off...

Honestly, I can't use another calendar app now. I love my color coded (you can change calendar colors in the app to any color you want) month at a glance calendar.

And I also can't recommend KWGT enough for widget making. I originally got Zooper to try to emulate Conky (from Linux), but Zooper stopped being developed. I have a lot of fun trying to get my widgets just the way I like them - even if my code is a mess.

Your spirit is there, but you have the wrong A state. It's Arkansas pulling this crap, not Alabama.

Blinkies - those small gifs that blinked to give the impression of glitter.

iframes - precursor to divs, but definitely added that "only works in IE" feel.

More contrast between font color and background image - it's too easy to read.

12pt Times New Roman font - gotta squint to read and default font for everything

Flashy gif banner at your header and footer - bonus points if they're the same image

All urls default to underlined blue and purple.

Mouse cursor with trails. The more sparkles, the better.

Clip art. Clip art everywhere.

Seeing a rainbow in the sky. I know it's just sunlight refracting through the water droplets but it is so gorgeous. I still get like the dude from the double rainbow video years ago because I still feel that way.

This is awesome!

It's a thing. It's a disgusting thing, but it's a thing. I remember, almost 30 years ago, my parents picking out a double wide trailer and they had to check a box to NOT get carpet in the bathrooms.

Task failed successfully.

Do you mean the Sound of Music instead of Gone with the Wind?

But, yes, doing something absurd to help with the spiraling really does help!

Looking at the best sellers list and I own the first 8 games... None of which I've finished...

Some have the sizes denoted as letters on them. Mine had an S for Small. Others had Ms, Ls, and a few XLs.

Same. It's why I went with the Teardown skin by dbrand. Get that see through look but with an adhesive skin instead. I've been very pleased with it.

Same here, but within the past year or so we've had to reverse course so we can stay within our grocery budget.

Oh Arkansas.... This is one of the many reasons I left my home state. I'm sadly not surprised to see this headline. This is also coming from a state that still has desegregation rulings on the books because even though the Little Rock Nine is a celebrated event - there are people who still oppose it. I am a product of that school system and am so happy my children won't be.

Anecdotal, but I remember them shipping in the white kids to my junior and senior high schools because of those rulings. It was also a running joke among us then students about where Arkansas fell in the overall education rankings for education - we were consistently in the bottom three.

The main theme from Laputa: Castle in the Sky. It's been that for the past 7 or more years. May change it to another Ghibli movie theme song.

Me, today, when my meds no longer feel like they're doing any good the second day in a row.

I also have ADHD, GAD, and MDD. My executive function is pretty non existent.

Thanks for sharing! Downloading the demo now thanks to your post. Been so excited since I saw the announcement months ago. :):):)

If you like DOS games, ScummVM has an android app for their emulator and then you could hit up abandonware sites for nostalgia games. Works for some Win95 games as well. Played Woodruff on my phone a few years ago, an ISO file inside ScummVM, and besides the aspect ratio being a bit off it was playable.

I tend to go back to mindless puzzle games on my phone and set weird challenges for myself. I like HexaMania and InBlock by AleksDev. I paid for no ads, iirc 99ยขUSD, and haven't regretted it. No freeminum b.s. in those two. (There is a HexaMania 2 by the same person, but even with paying for no ads it has a pay to keep playing mechanic that keeps me away from it.)

Flow Free is a great connect the dot series of games that you can get the full game through Google Play Pass. Hundreds of levels per game. And with it being on GPP, you get unlimited hints if you get stuck.

If you want an exploration sandbox game, there are always Minecraft and Terraria to enjoy.

Einstein Riddle by Rottz Games, also in GPP, is a good logic puzzle game.

Idk if it's my app or what, but the link to the original post takes me to yiff... I'm using Connect on Android.
