I’ll chime in! This is absolutely true in my experience. I loved RDR1 (still one of my favorite games) but with RDR2, I felt exactly the same as you. Too much fishing, hunting, and other distracting elements. RDR1 has some of that but it’s on a much smaller and easier to complete scale. I never finished the second one, about halfway through, I went back and replayed the first.

That’s basically been Rockstar’s MO since GTA4. I enjoyed GTA3 through San Andreas but GTA4 felt like bowling with cousin Roman more than a GTA game.

I’m in the south of France, and people from France, England, Dubai, Serbia, Canada and Colombia have come up to tell me they can’t believe what is happening in America… They want Trump.

Fuck this guy with every square foot of housing he is hoarding.

What does an on ice accident have to do with America?

I think a mask is your best option. If you’re trying to prevent against other people’s illness, you probably need an N95 mask, something that seals around your mouth and nose. A surgical type mask is more to control the droplets and spread of illness coming from you.

Trump, undoubtedly aware of the plan’s growing unpopularity, has claimed, “I know nothing about Project 2025” and that “some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal.”

How does he know things in it are abysmal if he has no knowledge of it?

When I was in school, there was only girls volleyball and no boy’s volleyball team so I have a question, say the person in this article wasn’t transgender but it was a boy (born with male genitalia and identifying as a male) who wanted to play volleyball. If there were no boy’s volleyball team at the school, would he be allowed to play on the girl’s team? I only ask because isn’t that how Title 9 has been interpreted?

This is anecdotal but I played hockey in high school and wrestled one year, we had a girl on our hockey team because we had no girl’s hockey team, she was a lot better than me too, I also remember one of our wrestlers wrestling a girl from another school because there was no girl’s wrestling team. There were no issues in either of those cases.

Regardless of all that, if there’s only one volleyball team at the school and it’s an all women sport, if a boy or transgender girl wants to play, it seems to me they should be allowed on that team if there’s no other opportunities for them to play.

I’ll finish this by saying: I am one person and these are my thoughts not a strong opinion that I’m going to live or die by so I don’t want to start an argument , just a discussion.

So he’s offering that money to name it after himself?

I’m not even clicking on that link, I never click on stuff with that turd’s name on the headline, just wanted to make the joke.

When a Historical Society is in fear of retaliation from law makers because they were teaching history, there’s obviously a big problem.

I absolutely want the government mandating what kind of straws we can use on public lands. The government mandates and subsidies so many things, I’d rather they do that for the benefit of everyone rather than a few babies that are afraid of change. They’ll say it’s about government overreach or the “nanny state” they are just afraid of change.

Yes it would’ve been clearer but that’s not what he said, he almost lost her to the poison that IS coming over the border (emphasis is mine). That is a lie.

I believe you’re thinking of phonetically, or spelling it how you hear it.

What about blaming the Republicans in congress, like yourself, who refused to vote on the Democrats boarder control policy this year because it would’ve “given the Democrats a win”? What about actually trying to fix problems rather than perpetuate them just to try and get elected? Seems like weird behavior to me.

Wait, this is a joke? I’m pretty sure we talked about the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl at the annual “You didn’t vote Republican so you’re part of the Deep State” meeting back in August

Oh shit, was I supposed to keep my mouth shut?

While we’re at it, can we get them to make stores include tax in the price listed as well? I’m happy to pay tax because we benefit from it but having tacked on at the end seems like a hidden fee to me.

All disputes, including territorial ones, were resolved long ago, in the middle of the 20th century.

Kinda like how the border disputes with Ukraine were solved in the late 20th century. Great example of “don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing”

You lefty’s are a contentious people.

Of course he did, one thing that actual bullies don’t like is when someone stands up to them. First they cry foul and then complain until they realize no one is listening, hopefully after that, they lose their power.

The Republican media arm (Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, etc.) and by proxy, the Republican Party, have been bullies my entire life. Forgive me that I don’t care that the Democrats are finally standing up to them.

Yes, your 100% right, that would be much better, but if Republican whine this much about gas stoves and plastic straws it’s not going to happen soon. My feeling in it is, baby steps are better than no steps.

Am I a joke to you?

WTF, this dude is only 45? I understand wanting to have a healthy body as you age but there are cheaper and easier ways to achieve that. Seems like a waste time, money, and energy being that afraid of death.

His POS daughter, Heather Bresch, also received a fraudulent MBA in college. Some higher ups just made up grades for her after a reporter found out that she didn’t have enough hours to graduate. That was seven or eight years after she supposedly graduated.

I guess it was a junk bond.

Nice! I’m a trim carpenter and I work in historic preservation. I’m a project manager now but I worked my way up from laborer.

As someone who grew up in WV, he ran as a democrat but he’ll always be just another Coal Baron, just like the current governor Jim Justice.

You can make that much but in places they don’t. I worked as a radiology aide and an OR aide at a local hospital when I was in college, thought about pursuing nursing as both of my parents are nurses. Two years there and one year of pre nursing in college and I thought “why am I going into this career? I get treated like crap by those above me and the patients, I get no support from my supervisors, I come home every day tired and complaining about work, and the stuff I bitch about is stuff my dad says has been happening since the hospital opened in the 70s” I got a degree in history and now I work as a PM for a contracting company that specializes in historic preservation, making more than I ever would as a nurse and I go to work and go home everyday in a pretty good mood.

If everyone working in the hospital wasn’t being treated like shit then I probably would be a nurse today but my time at the hospital was a huge eye opener.

Oh wait, you’re serious? Let me laugh even harder

I use Amazon for research and then purchase the product for about $5-$10 more on other websites, ideally the company selling on a Amazon has their own website. I’d rather pay a little more than give a dime to Jeff Bezos.

Couldn’t they have protested some other way, without destroying property? At least, that was the question asked by the US oligarchs during the protests in 2020.

Or maybe it’s a much more nuanced situation where both sides have been the “bad guy” and murder by one side doesn’t justify murder by the other.

The capuchin engaged in sexual activity for payment, call it what you want but that pretty much the dictionary definition of prostitution. It’s not a moral or god question it’s semantics.

If you like Rage Against the Machine, Tom Morello did a solo project called The Nightwatchman that had a lot of great protest songs. I think it’s closer to 15 years old, so not the last 10.

Ma Bell still exists in the US too, we just call it AT&T now.

They want “boarder security” not “immigration reform”. They can campaign to their base on the first but not the second.

Shit, someone gets the plague here every year, it’s even more common in New Mexico.

When I first moved to Colorado, I was definitely surprised the first time I saw something about bubonic plague in the headlines but I’ve lived here long enough that it’s just something that happens every year or so, it’s pretty much always isolated and most of the time the person recovers.

More people die hiking in this state than from plague and I don’t think that’s going to stop people from hiking anytime soon. Same with skiing and I’ll be on the slopes come winter.

Yeah, this thought is someone trying to compare apples to oranges.

Then there’s the throw away comment of how you barely know anyone there, that’s a personal thing. I work for a small company now but I used to work for a hospital with over 2,000 employees, I didn’t know most of them but I knew the 100 or so people I interacted with pretty well and did things outside of work with many of them on more than one occasion.

Who called for his death?
