PopOS handles nvidia drivers perfectly.

Also, this graph does not take into account kbin which is essentially the same kind of software as lemmy but tracked seperately. Better data can be found here: https://fedidb.org/current-events/threadiverse

Also, instance hopping and users registering on multiple instances before picking only one/being active on only once may be an explanation.

Do you aim for Lemmy to become GDPR-compatible in the future ( see https://gdpr-info.eu/ for details)?

Consider becoming a patron of the lemmy developer, this will benefit all instances:

Will you implement an sorting algorithm that would show more content from small, neglected, unknown communities/instances on the main /all/ timeline so that they are more discoverable and will be seen rather than only showing the most-liked posts from huge communities/instances?

I've noticed that some instances, including lemmy.world, are getting more aggressive with blocking other instances (also due to assumed "spam"). At the same time, the /all/ feed is only populated by the communities that other users of your instance are subscribing to. I'd look in some newcommunities communities to subscribe to more interesting communities so that they pop up in your /all/ feed. Another reason is probably also that many people are moving away from lemmy.world to smaller instances.

Install PopOS, comes with nvidia drivers, and no extra hassle. Boots your GTX right up like a baby.

Here are some hallucination examples: https://github.com/giuven95/chatgpt-failures

I guess thats what happens when the quality userbase migrates.

That was the status quo when I tried Linux ~5 years ago. Nowadays, Linux is much more plug and play (and I'm specifically referring to Pop OS).

I suspect the problem is that AI copies whole sentences that were originally published by authors - not that it just "learns" from it.

Why not use pixelfed to upload and then to link it here?

If people thought that, lemmy wouldnt exist. Try it first :)

From what I read, Mint is better for lower-end PC specs, but otherwise, I'd strongly recommend PopOS.

PopOS has a good nvidia card support, try it out! It made me dump windows last October.

Thunder because it's sleek.

I personally requested it because this particular bot also mirrors comments, not just posts. And the two super niche communities it posts in are completely dead on lemmy, so im trying to revive them by having at least some updates, also so people dont have to go back to reddit just to get that niche content. https://communick.news/u/rglullis set it up.

Can't sign up - 400 Bad Request: rate_limit_error

The admin banned the whole communities! I first have to find an instance that would be okay with your software. Do you have any suggestions as to how to find one? Also, in case you didnt see, real lemmy users engaged in discussions based on the reddit comments many times already, making your idea a success!

Peertube might be a fediverse-friendly place to archive such content.

Well, the current state is... nice https://lemmy.world/post/1867777

Cannot find kbin.social instances - how do I join those from endlesstalk?

Just enter https://lemmy.ml/post/2920188 in die search function top right and you'll get shown https://feddit.de/post/2248439

Cut 50% of paid staff to save costs. Then the subreddits have free reign to post NSFW or whatnot without consequences.

Theres another possibility. That gene flow leads to making all other rice varieties inedible similar to what happens to "self-harvested/cross-pollinated" pumpkin/cucumber/zucchini seeds. Genes dont 100% copy over due to the process of recombination, which can cause quite unexpected outcomes. The GMO scientists never tested these quasi-infinite possibilities yet.

Sounds good.

Good luck finishing to set up the instances.

I also did a gaki post: https://feddit.de/post/4701709

Can you see RedditMigration@kbin.social ? I can't, no matter how I search.

On old.endlesstalk.org, /home/ seems to link to the same feed as /all/, and the own subscriptions don't show up in the top bar. Is that a bug?

8 more...

Thanks, that I had to use settings was not immediately obvious. Also, a lot of subscriptions show as "pending", which may be why they don't show up in the topbar.

Where do you use it? In the search field, it doesn't seem to work.

Maybe it's the ones where the content hasn't been federated over to endlesstalk.org yet.

Its not kbin but feddit.de instances. For example pflanzen@feddit.de or manga@feddit.de.

Would be happy if you could look into this issue as well.

@feddit.de if possible :) There is also @pathofexile-discuss.com for poe

Oh and please also add /r/manga
