I always see his exact photo when i see this posted. Im pretty convinced that this isnt actually how kids are dressed, otherwise the photo would once in a while be changed up

Telling people important to you that you love them

I think its simply, at least for a while, the tech space was male dominated. And depending on the type of piracy, it requires an amount of tech skills

I graduated pharmacy school 8 years ago. This was a thing that was taught in school. This is why you should talk to your pharmacist. Guaifenisin is another 'garbage drug' that does virtually nothing; just drink more water

Been a Reddit is Fun good user for over a decade. Is by far been my most used app. Earlier editions had the little alien in the corner, and I have three phones with that logo burned into the screen. I really have been enjoying the growth of Lemmy/Fediverse, and it reminds me honestly of early Reddit. But still it's bittersweet losing RiF and how drastically the community of Reddit has changed over the last few months

On my phone I use youtube revanced and adguard dns, kiwi browser with ublock origin. On my PC I use just ublock origin. So far** I havent run into issues

I think this is the best explanation of how federation works that I've seen so far. Really appreciate it. So would it benefit us to use an account for me different website to get the benefit of both communities? Is there a way to be essentially logged into two accounts at once so that you can see separate federated communities all at once?

Anyone seen any issues with revanced for this? I haven't experienced anything but curious if anyone has ran into anything.

Through sync for lemmy, you can filter out a whole instance.

This, but primarily when someone is confounded by the idea that im not into sports. Ive had this happen with a few things, but sports are one of the weireder ones. I mean to the point of them going, nah you like sports, then continuing ro go on a rant about sone game.like i know im into a lot of stuff others arent, but if they sont want to talk about it, thats perfectly fine

I got my first virus in years this week from a 'verified' uploader on 1337x

I know a lot of the devs are trying their hands at Fediverse apps, id love to see what talklittle could do if he tried

Exactly this. Regardless if it's softcore or hardcore, porn or lewd is nsfw. I don't mind that stuff at home, but even blurred out images I don't want my coworkers walking by.

NSFL stuff I generally never want to see, at least not as someone I randomly scroll by

No issues with revanced

I met my wife through PoF, but this is exactly how Id describe dating apps. They are so designed to keep you checking the app constantly, pay for premium features and feel awful about yourself. In my situation it really was the only way I could meet anyone (was in my rotations of grad school, working 12 hour days), but the apps were like measurably depressing me

Haven't tried many, but I really enjoy Super Lemon Haze

Thank you. The title was absolute gore

Exercise is a definite one. This is actually coming from a medical side, not just a personal one. There's a lot of data there.

However I think hobbies that are 'measurable' are also really good. Ones where you can feel like you accomplished something. So things like painting, drawing, learning something, reading, where you can feel like youve finished something I feel really helps.

So a good idea might be combining the two. Maybe an exercise with a goal in mind. Or maybe take a few karate classes, with the goal of working towards your first belt. Or biking a certain distance every day to reach a total amount for a month. I personally find when i can see that my hobby has some measurable accomplishment, I personally feel more satisfied with that

Also for me social things help a lot. Im a very social person, but can get such in a rut. Finding more ways to be social can help expand and open you up to other things

Not getting into the weeds about their recent stuff - but the community of Reddit has generally given great to me.

I have found, expanded, and learned about so many interests and hobbies and information through Reddit. From computer repairs, to game help, to install guides, to home repair, even just getting some new perspectives. For years it was a community I felt happy to interact with and that in general wanted to help others

She looks great, but there is no works where I would have ever thought that was her just seeing the photos

I feel like, if you're able to grow hair evenly, you should grow a beard first then trim

It depends on the client your using, but most the time you need to fill to the communities page then block it there

Also add Sub Rehab to the 'jumpstart your subscription'. Has a bunch of subreddits and a way to submit linked subreddits/communities

At the same point though, isn't that like the ambulance crew acting like a first step of triage? Like it sounds like they're doing their job, assessing your security and prioritizing those that do need it? I mean if you have a broken arm or feeling not well and called an ambulance, i want to be taking care of the guy that came in coding and needing CPR not focusing on someone who will likely be alive in the next minute, compared to the guy who isn't breathing

This isn't what I'm referring to. I'm referring to the notification tab at the bottom with the mail icon. In that there are a few tabs, the first being replies. I want to reply on the reply page

I download almost everything using Premiumize. It essentially downloads the torrents for you, so you're only downloading things from them at drastically faster speeds, and never connecting to the actual swarm. You just send them the torrent file.

For the actual organizing, I use TVRenamer mainly. It's an extremely underrated tool that not only organizes your shows and movies, but does a great job of helping you identify what you're missing, like missing episodes or specials.

I use tdarr to reencode all my stuff to x265

Plex is mainly how I watch stuff. I like kodi a lot, but most the time Plex is a lot more streamline.

For comics I use comicrack. Best way to do comic organizing by far

Get a firetab 10 and a 500gb sd card. Prime day is next week, it'll be on sale. It's a less than $100 option and works great. It's roughly the size of a comic book, and works great for just reading comics.

I use comicrack to organize the comics, and there's a few workflows out there that people have made to organize and sort the comics. I can sync it all wirelessly from my pc to my tablet, pretty easy process.

If you do go with the furetab, Id recommend looking into the fire toolbox on xda that helps with some functionality

Did the exact same thing with the quest 2. Two weeks after getting mine they announced the quest 3. Had to wait a few months, but glad i did

Glad to share it! Thank you so much for your hard work, I cannot overstate how much I loved your app. I'm sure you've been getting this bunch but seriously the experience on Reddit is fun was what made Reddit. I have barely used it ever on a computer and have never really experienced it any other way. It is by far the number one used to have on my phone and losing access to it is losing access to Reddit for me. I'd love to know about any other projects that you're working on because the quality and simplicity of your product was what made the experience so great all these years!

Yep i use revanced on my phone and smart tube on my firestick

Good luck! Haven't had the confidence to try it yet. I have a 256gb with a decent size sd card so it isn't that necessary, but if i had more I would probably dual boot windows

I find it's very context dependent. In the 3d model/printables, a lot of people who release the pirated content so a 3-4 month embargo to allow the creator a chance to let people get it legally before it's available everywhere.

Replying, couldn't do it from the notifications though

Thats actually why I got mine as well! I just meant ive been pretty happy with just putting my games on my SSD so far, I think if I wanted to do more OS tweaking, that would be the push for me to go for the bigger drive. At the moment Im too nervous so just putting stuff onthe SD card

I wasn't sure if that was the issue or not, but I swear at one point it was working on 0.0.36 even with lemmy.world being on 0.17

Yes I have. The issue is it doesn't have very good built in scrapers. Comicrack has amazing tools for organizing your library, where Komga breaks really easy. Especially with series that have either long names or names that repeat, such as having multiple runs with the same name (such as Spider-Man). It wish was really really bad at being clear on how/what it was updating. In the end, I only read off one device, and comicrack did it better

Is there a way to block an entire instance as a user? There are some instances that seem to cater to communities that I have zero interest in, Abe instead of blocking each community, Id rather block the whole instance

I agree. I don't use Twitter and I really don't know much about Elon, but when one of the wealthiest people in the world is doing something with a major tech company, Id like to be somewhat informed

There's definitely animals missing on here. Deer kill a fair number of people a year
