Then stop already. Stop mentioning the name. Stop posting articles about it. Stop sharing articles about it on other social media.

You know what's immoral? Posting ragebait articles about a platform because you know users will engage.

Yes, but now it's less accessible, costs more, and is less transparent so companies can astroturf easier.

But it's better because they're totally 100% looking at ways to share the revenue with the communities as soon as possible. Definitely one of the top priorities without a doubt.

But also, like, dancing with your friends shouldn't ruin your future because your school system imposes their religious values as a moral "code".

No 96 year old is mentally fit to perform such an essential function with long-term implications. Just retire already.

The statement that she is writing opinions just as quickly as 2018 is particularly funny when it's her clerks doing the majority of the work.

This would be an amazing game for Steam Deck, assuming it runs well. I'm in if they hit the mark.

The late fees are usually miniscule and they act as a deterrent to keep people from holding onto the same book for an extended period with zero repercussions.

OP can master that rule today, won't make a damn bit of difference with a 2 year old around.

Shouldn't it be Wapeach? Or possibly just Weach?

For real. This building would have most certainly languished for years and then been torn down to be replaced by a cookie cutter development. Instead it has been repurposed in a unique way (by the city, not Amazon) so that it can continue to be used (by many companies, not just Amazon).

It's fun to laugh at the irony, but overall this is a good thing.

Her 15 year old brother was shot dead less than two years ago over a "money dispute" (i.e. drugs). Call me crazy, but something tells me this family isn't just a misunderstood, wholesome group that the cops are targeting.

Do Israelis have no agency in your mind?

The fact that we're talking about either of these guys as viable candidates, and that they will likely be the nominations, is wild. Biden would be 86 and Trump would be 82 if they make it to the end of the term.

I'm actually impressed by how bad of a take this is. Well done.

Since you've apparently seen so many, I would love for you to link me to a sports community that is actually active. Everything out there is completely dead, usually with one person reposting content from reddit or Twitter.

Probably should have considered his special diet before he defrauded a ton of people.

Spoiler: it won't be.

As The Boys lovingly put it so many years ago, "nerds is cool now and jocks is pumping our gas."

Wasn't there an article a year or two ago of a teacher serving people baked goods made with her SO's semen? Crazy doesn't recognize the boundaries of sex and gender.

This is funny because these same ideas of him not wanting to get elected came up last time even during primary season. At this point to think something so naive you either aren't paying attention or you are being intentionally divisive. He thrives on this shit and has gained way more money than he ever would without it. Of course he wants to win again.

I have an old early 2000s mp3 player that still to this day has an inexplicable sweet orange/citrus scent that emanates from the audio jacks, even when not in use.

Mark as Read in the notification panel. How the hell is that still not an option? I've been asking for this over a decade since quick reply options became a thing (jellybean?). Options are still only Archive or Delete.

It would do absolutely nothing at all. For every billionaire that is running some seedy enterprise that you don't like, there are dozens if not hundreds of well paid people that are supporting that enterprise and would keep it going going forever.

Psyonix has always been shitty on their own. And they sold out to Epic; they didn't have to do that. Epic is a known quantity of terrible, but Psyonix is not innocent in any of this.

Utilitarian moral theory is an entire field of ethical philosophy, even if you don't agree with it. Someone who believes strongly in this could argue that we should have actually killed Mitch decades ago to prevent all of the pain, suffering, and death that he has wrought on this world.

I think what you meant to say is that you have some form of feeling morally superior.

Strange to compare the full-on movement Bernie brought with whatever peanut shells West is scraping off the floor right now.

Agreed, let's just move to checks notes iOS? Oh, they also constantly pull shady, anticonsumer bullshit. There's no winning for us.

Lemmy has been just as bad, if not worse, than reddit with the prevalence of ragebait.

Do they really, though?

It matters what part of the body the measurement is tied to for start and finish. If it has to be the same point on the body then it's a problem, but if the anchor point can change then there are greater possibilities.

I can put my hand on the door and extend my foot backwards. If my hand is the anchor point to start and my foot is the anchor point to end, then certain parts of my body have teleported more than 7", but in the aggregate at least one part of my whole body is always within a 7" distance from anchor to anchor. That would mean I could teleport my whole body through any solid item that is less than 7" thick.

They're only doing what everyone else is right now. B2B companies in particular are going nuts with it. I know several companies that pivoted their entire near-term strategy to focus on the value AI/ML can bring to their customers.

Isn't that how it works now anyway, in addition to regular ads?

I think you need to specifically elect sex clowns to get a fucking circus.

She seems insufferable after scrolling through her feed.

I think you meant to say Tomira. Thiccest herbalist on the continent.

It’s not clear why Starz, which is home to TV shows like Outlander, The Serpent Queen, and Minx, made the move

Seems pretty obvious within the sentence itself.

Not going to happen anytime soon. Lemmy seems to have mostly drawn in early tech adopters, communists, Europeans who hate cars, and not-quite-pedophiles-but-close-enough-that-it-makes-me-concerned types.

I have yet to find any decent sports discussion here or anywhere in the fediverse.

That was Alan Wake 2 for me, except they innovated one step further. I had to reinstall it on my NVME drive because my SATA SSD apparently wasn't fast enough.

There's like 5-6 possible soap smells made for men, surely you could find similar smells elsewhere?

Puerto Rico about to find out what a zone 14 is.

What a stupid fucking name. I realize they're targeting 12 year olds but damn.
