The X in XFCE doesn't stand for X11.

The name Xfce originally stood for “XForms Common Environment”, but since then Xfce has been rewritten twice and doesn't use the XForms toolkit anymore. The name survived, but it is no longer capitalized as “XFCE” and is no longer an abbreviation for anything (wiki)

Another +1 for KISS, it's such an amazing launcher. I'm actually surprised to see it mentionned so much in this thread.

I have my 5 most used app on top of the search bar and my most used apps (that get automatically sorted by usage) readily accessible. The search feature + tags is so powerful, there's no need to scroll through the apps anymore when looking for something.

I'm writing this on Infinity for Lemmy and wow, I think I found my new home.

You can add multiple tag to apps (all my games are tagged "game", all my Lemmy apps are tagged "lemmy"). You can then search by tags, just like regular searches.

I'm a big fan of fish personally.

Fuck you I won't do what you tell me 🎵

Organic Maps is so nice, thank you for all your hard work 🥰.

Cherry! So delicious!

Or Adguard Home, that I think is superior than Pi-Hole. It runs as a single instance and you can easily upgrade it from the web UI.

I sent you a DM.

This is the way.

This, but I personally use Adguard Home + Unbound instead of Pi-Hole + Unbound. Adguard Hone also open source, but it runs as a single service instead of 2. You can easily update it from the web interface when there's a new release, which makes things easier.

Yes, this fixed it for me!

Try Neo Store, I think it's the best frontend to f-droid.

Practice more and parking in reverse will become faster (and safer).

True, but if you see the lines in your mirror, you have them adjusted wrong! Try adjusting them to see your blind spot. It takes a while to get used to it but it's a game changer.

Oh, that's cool! But one should still cover the blind spots with side mirrors instead of seeing what's behind you, as you already have one that does this!

Kiss takes a while to get used to, but once the apps in your history start getting sorted correctly (mine is by "accessed frequently"), you barely need to search for apps anymore. All your most used apps accessible in 2 clicks.

Kvaesitso is really good, but I keep coming back to Kiss. Even if you put your most used apps on the bottom of the apps drawer (instead of the default, on top), they're not as easily accessible compared to Kiss.

On Kiss, the history/most used apps are easily accessible with one hand, without needing to move it.
