I'd say its not getting coverage because Texas talks about seceding almost every year and states have been using their national guard as political tools for years now.
When the national guard was sent to DC after the insurrection, Texas pulled their national guard back because of "poor treatment". I was there, there was no poor treatment. Texas (and several more states afterwards) used their national guard as a political tool to make the other side seem bad.
Its really unfortunate. Im working on setting up my own personal instance right now. Im really grateful for all the work Lemmy.world has done, but im just getting tired of not being able to use Lemmy maybe 1/8th of the time I open the app.
Just a +1 for decentralized social media. The fact that I can just set up my own instance when im not 100% happy with the one im currently on is awesome.
Yep. 1995 here and ive got no idea.
That depends, would you consider your hands to be part of your body?
Probably "Your Microsoft account password needs reset" sadly
In the US at least, ISPs can force you to use a specific router and software restrict certain functions.
I have AT&T and they do this to me, I just have my own router behind theirs. Might be what OP needs to do.
Nah this ain't it for me. Darn tough socks for life
Yeah, but if you said this was a regurally scheduled drill, the acticle wouldn't seem as interesting!
The US does this every year too, it is critical to the concept of mutually assured destruction. Both sides have to continually demonstrate the ability to annihilate the other in order to deter each other from actually launching a strike.
This is a braindead take, I'm done with this community
I'm the gila, blood spilla, witch killa
One more reason for me to learn ELK stack, sweet!
Fantastic answer and a good question at that.
Make sure you dont buy a pixel that was purchased from Verizon. They lock the bootloader to prevent you installing anything else. They'll refuse to unlock it even if its been paid off
Former fox news anchor is going to Russia and presumably thinks he can end the war in Ukraine
Man I would love this
Money and money
Garmin makes good watches, but its for a different market I think.
Works great for me. I had it running in a snap for awhile, but now I just have it in a proxmox Debian container running a LAMP stack. I have over a terabyte of stuff saved and multiple computers syncing too, so its well used.
Good guy valve
The holocost museum in Washington DC. Its a must go for anyone that's in the area.
People say they dont notice a difference between my shokz and my phone.
Best reply, and I wasn't expecting it. They truly did revolutionize computer product marketing.
Well its way easier for them to buy the data they want than to get a warrant for it. Honestly, I dont think the government doing this is nearly as big of an issue as the fact that this data is available for purchase in the first place.
Here are two good videos I watched on the subject if youre interested.
No, but it's going to take longer for them to confirm the scene is safe for first aid and paramedics.
Mailbox.org > proton. Fite me
Ye
Damn I feel seen
UI is still a bit complicated. Plex uses its own implementation called loudness leveling rather than replaygain. I've found it to be just as good for the most part.
Its a 38 minute drive without tolls and a 33 minute drive with tolls. Ill suffer the 5 minutes to avoid $30 in tolls every month.
I actually live in a more expensive area than where I work, but I do so because the entire state is still somewhat affordable (Kansas) and the city I live in is much more progressive than the one I work in.
Im also a legal layman, but my understanding is that the 4th amendment protects you from this kind of data collection from the government, not from corporations. Shouldn't be that way IMO though
The NCR plays a big part in the show. I think that revelation is in episode 7 though.
I agree on the plot being contrived, but I still enjoyed it regardless. That could just be because I'm a huge fallout fan though.
I'm 28 too, can confirm
This was my setup for the longest time. Just a few years ago did I switch to musicbee+plex+plexamp. Also last.fm ftw
What about a 5% of your total wealth fine rounded down to the nearest $100 (if we could accurately find and report the wealth of individuals).
Houseless people would get a big fat $0 fine and that rich fucker who could usually just write the fee off as an incidental would be hurting.
This has my vote, but with your own nextcloud instance for syncing!
The best way to be miserable in life is to compare yourself to others. Just do your best, thats all that matters
