Remote management and monitoring software. I run an msp

I'm picking a brand for a service offering HaaS. And am hoping I can find a brand that has central management.

Three PCs two different containers. I cannot get Xbox controllers to work with Linux over Bluetooth.

I don't know what that means. Mind explaining?

So, it turns out that my RMM is working fine under Wayland. Level got back with me because they couldn't reproduce the problem. So I tried to reproduce the problem. Only to find it is working just fine. Whatever was causing that problem, I have no idea. But it's gone.

That looks fun. For some reason the text fields don't work with mobile keyboards though

You're either in the industry or a big nerd. I had no idea they did that to 2d movies. Might explain some bad experiences

I actually like that. Have to put in the password on fist boot before network will connect to wifi.

Awesome, thanks for the info.

Network Manager?

No clue. But they are a pretty solid company. Small, responsive, and inexpensive.

Each pc costs $1/month, Min $20/month.

They have only terminal and file browsing for Linux now. But gui interface is on the road map.

Hope they get that soon.

Perfect, thank you!

Oh wow, good thing they caught that.

Hey, is there any centralized system I can put on a Linux box that will notify me of battery health of multiple UPSs.

I started a managed Services business and I'm trying to find a battery backup solution. That I can centrally manage.

I've never looked into Central management for UPS's before. So I'm not sure if there's anything out there like that.

Given your experience though I'm guessing you might know.

I'm just trying to avoid running into the situation where I have a dying battery at a client's location. I'm trying to be proactive.

It worth reading, because you get perspective on how anarcho capatalist view the world.

Read the whole thing. It's OK.

The worst part of the book is that stupid chapter in the last third. Which summarizes the previous 2/3.

I know they work with windows. Maybe it is the bt version.

Has bt. Linux says it's connected. But the Xbox light doesn't stop blinking. Then just goes dark...

Because it's pointless.

  • the effect wears off after the first or second scene. So then I'm just watching a regular movie where a handle occasionally comes out of the screen.
  • it's gimmicky. It just doesn't add anything of value for me.
  • it's a hassle. I don't want to wear (and eventually toss) a cheap pair of plastic glasses.

VR on the other hand. Rules.
