They literally sold cardboard and people bought it. So you're right there.

Never said it was a success, just that people bought it.

Good Mythical Morning

At some point they got so popular that I just felt like they sold out. I felt like I was just watching 1 giant ad with all of their videos trying to get me to buy something. Also, some of their rants that they started going on got annoying. Seemed like at some point they lost the chemistry that they had together. I just enjoyed watching their banter and them doing goofy stuff.

Anthony was great, always loved how in depth they were on whatever tech they were talking about.

I like Jake's videos on networking too. I love how nonchalant he is when it comes to certain things that would just never fly where I work. Makes for good entertainment.

Other than them, I like tech linked and game linked to stay up to date on tech and game news.

Add Honda CRV fuel pumps to that. Can cause the engine to just shut off at any time. And Honda won't even have the parts available until the fall unless you are currently experiencing issues related to the fuel pump.

Doesn't matter, it's all of them. My family has had United Healthcare, Cigna, and Anthem in the past 6 years and they're all equally bad. We've had so many issues with coverage for both of my autistic children and mental health care.

The system is designed to screw you unless you have hours of time to question every bill. Luckily my wife doesn't have a job so she can make all of these calls. In most cases we got everything resolved, but after my wife basically made this her daytime job calling about the bills and learning about how billing and coding works.

After our experience, I'm confident that no one knows what they are doing. It's all guesswork. From the doctors, to their office billing people, to the insurance. It's all fucked.

I had to do the same, despite recovering from surgery. To make matters worse, after I hit the maximum out of pocket amount the medical centers continued to send bills showing I owed a balance. It took nearly a year and repeated escalation to their executive and legal departments to get them to provide refunds. Calls, faxes and certified letters were completely ignored.

Yup, we always hit our deductible within about 2-3 months due to my kid's therapy, yet we still get full bills from all of our providers even though we should be 90-100% covered at that point. You call the insurance, they say the provider billed it wrong, you call the provider's office and they refuse that they did anything wrong and tell you to call your insurance. It's a never ending cycle.

And toilet paper

Definitely a great game and gave me my chrono trigger nostalgia.

NO position should ever be for life. It's ridiculous that we have 70/80/90 year olds running things forever until they die. They should retire and let the next generation take the reins. Age and term limits. Courts should not be able to be packed like this. Nothing should.

The amount of downvotes on comments trying to help people not get price gouged and comments supporting these subscription price increases shows me just how many corporate shills are actually out there. No wonder these corps keep getting away with this bullshit.

Edit: Wow so many people took personal offense to this...almost like it they know it's true but are afraid to admit it. Everyone is hurting financially right now, some more than others. Yet year over year, the prices keep going up even with record inflation and record profits. Keep shilling folks, enjoy emptying your wallets for the millionaires while you struggle.

Anyone who did not successfully fight to keep their name out of the civil case could see their name become public -- including Epstein's victims, co-conspirators and innocent associates.

Well, this tells us that we probably won't see any notable people in the release then...

Guys guys, they're talking about us!

I'm still shocked to this day that police weren't mowing people down as they tried to force their way in. By not doing so, they basically said, "this is fine" IMO.

I say we start transplanting these fetuses into the people that don't want the women to get care. Let them deal with it. Just open them up, drop it in and close it up and send them on their way.

I'll be following this one. This was really the only game that stood out to me at TGA. But after the NMS release, I'll be waiting for reviews.

People saw how successful Netflix was and wanted the same even though it was never going to happen. By doing this they've now made Netflix shit too.

Did Fallout release at the perfect time?

I'm really surprised that someone actually had the balls to make the first well type game. On top of that, they even made it so that it was like Halo 2 meets Halo 3. Well done.

No one should be shooting at tires, that isn't as easy as they make it in the movies (in this case yes it would have been). However, you should NEVER point a gun at something you do not intend to kill.

Set phasers to love me

I work in IT and I've been against the cloud for over a decade and I always got looks like I was crazy. We still have vendors pushing us to buy into the cloud, I'll fight tooth and nail all the way. Unfortunately, a lot of vendors aren't giving much of a choice anymore by making their services cloud only. We'll have to start building custom applications soon to keep everything on-prem.

As with any service, everything can be "reasonably" priced. Things that people need every day have become predatory or straight price gouging. Funeral homes are one of those. If people want to have their naked bodies burned or put into the ground, they should be able to.

I agree with you, but you can't do it for everything.

I see so many people just throwing money away it's crazy.

Like you said, cooking for yourself and your family. Don't eat out. Bring packed lunches to work. My family might get fast food once or twice a month max, the rest is all from the grocery store. Eating out is stupid expensive now.

When it comes to your cars. Learn to change your own oil, battery, and air filter. Dealers and repair shops charge stupid prices for this stuff and it's easy enough to do that you can do it in 15-30 minutes yourself. Remember to properly dispose of your fluids.

Learn to fix your own tech, tech jobs pay a lot which means that you as the customer will pay a lot to get your shit fixed.

Learn how to fix simple plumbing in your house, repair drywall, install/repair simple electrical stuff. When I see people in my local area paying handymen $500 to install a ceiling fan (not the electrical part like running wires, just hanging the damn thing), I about lose it.
