I mean yeah, that's where the Palestinians are, who did they think was the target of a military attack on a city?

It's getting hard for people to pretend that this isn't a genocide when the people doing it aren't even bothering to pretend it isn't.

This is the problem with the kind of disinformation the right wing media pushes. If you describe something in as objective truthful a way as possible, suddenly none of this shit is controversial.

I've seen people totally on board with a description of public health turn around and just rail against how Obama care is Communist.

So much of this just depends entirely on ignorance. Kinda why these people are homeschooling in the first place.

What were they expecting when the government stopped paying for it? We already know the normal American healthcare system is garbage, this is the result of that.

It cost me $400 to get my gf and her son vaccinated, that'll get reimbursed by insurance... eventually, probably. That's going to be a barrier for a lot of people, just like always.

So, like, are they going to vote for the guy that literally has "banning Muslims" as a platform?

For the same reason they oppose public health, public school, trans rights, diversity, equity, and inclusion. They literally don't know what they are.

This implies that your food won't arrive cold if you do tip, and that hasn't been my experience at all.

It's hilarious watching Trumpers briefly turn into socialists when they try to argue that crimes against banks aren't real crimes.

That's exactly what Hamas wants to see because that's what gets Israeli to lose international support and prompts Arab nations to invade.

They don't give a shit about the Palestinian people.

Wait, his OWN TEAM didn't have questions for him, their own client? It's a civil trial, they could have asked him anything, he could have had the whole court room listening to aIl the stupid bullshit he was trying to say in answer to the state. No questions?

I... can't fathom taking the stand in your own defense and then not having any questions from your own attorneys. How about: "did you do it?" "No, I did not." Or "why is the da trying to railroad you." "Magamagamaga".

No questions is unfathomable.

Honestly, the association with Yahoo just makes the platform look like a joke. Like, the first time you do a search and it pops up as Yahoo your first instinct is thinking you're using the wrong thing.

Good, even if you are supportive of gun rights there has to be a better option than contributing to a Russian fascist propaganda outlet.

It's impossible to say what anything is worth to a person who can lose 44 billion dollars and still have so much money left that the next 10 generations of their lineage won't ever have to work again.

It's insane to think of that as a trivial amount of money, but musk could literally lose 99% of his money and it wouldn't impact his life at all, except for his hobby of bankrupting corporations.

We let people get so fucking rich that everything they do is newsworthy because it actually impacts a ton of people.

The real problem is that we don't actually need rich people in the first place.

That's exactly it, and this is also why the media CONSTANTLY "discovering" that Trump is a Nazi is just signal boosting his campaign content.

Maybe in another eight years they will move on from "dae notice that Trump is a racist fascist Nazi?" And instead start saying "don't vote for racist fascist Nazis, do this instead."

It's just "what Trump tells me to hate", there i defined it.

It's funny how much conservatives struggle with finding people who aren't criminals and frauds. Almost like there is something fundamental about them that attracts horrible people and repels everyone else.

Like with every single thing that humans try to do to help each other, corporations have figured out how to exploit it for themselves.

We feel like tipping helps people because literally handing money to someone SHOULD help them. Except what actually happens is that corporations, with the full support of the government that they own, simply use that social convention to offset the wages that they have to pay their staff.

That, that's the exact problem he is pointing out.

The bulk of the US economy is based on taking money from working people and then consolidating it to billionaires that run defense corporations. So "paying for" it's basically just an engine for making rich Americans more rich.

Good thing Biden is here to be the spokesperson for Israel for some reason. Show us the evidence or fuck off, and stop buying bullets to kill children while you're at it.

Lab meat = woke

No further understanding needed.

Right? He wants all the unofficial but traditional perks and benefits of being a president without being bound by all the traditional obligations and expectations of the office.

It's like he thinks being rich gives him an exception to all this shit, but he's to stupid to realize that MOST American Presidents are rich, many of them more than he'll ever be.

That's Trump's whole life. He thinks being rich cures him of rules and obligations, but then he wants into "high society" because of the access and authority that it provides. But that price of admission to that circle isn't JUST about being rich, it's about following the very rules that Trump doesn't feel bound by.

It's why the only thing he can think to do with the office of the president is trying to find cool stuff to show people to make people fonally like him.

This is America, even rich people can be trash.

The whole point of having communities is to establish a focus of discussion. You wouldn't come in here to talk about flower arranging.

Their understanding of feminism comes from right wing media.

Seriously. If one more Democrat leans out of his ivory tower to shout down at me to tell me that I'm totally rich and safe now while I'm paying three hundred bucks for a weeks groceries for my family on the same money I made five years ago I'm going to lose my goddamned mind.

Substantially better. It actually has a theme and internal morality that makes sense.

Zack Snyder has a real talent for totally abandoning the actual meaning of comics in favor of capturing an aesthetic and this is no exception.

Sadly, while abortion is a losing issue for them, their racist politicians are often winning in the same ballots that abortion is being protected on. Conservative women will protect their right to abortions but still happily vote for racism at the same time.

That's what these guys are missing. They are losing on abortion because enough Republicans care more about their own rights than about racism. Lucky for them, the ballot measures mean they don't have to choose. They can protect abortion back home and keep on sending fascists to Washington.

Hamas is literally the elected government of Palestine. They are the authority in Gaza that releases these numbers.

Correction: Hamas is the government body of Gaza, not of all Palestine, which includes the West Bank.

Fair enough, so who is getting executed for this one?

Canada does not have a great history, given the (shockingly recent) sterilization of indigenous women.

Also, worth noting that assisted suicide had been around in Canada for awhile, and not without it's problems that seem quite like those described by the person you were replying to, including some specific cases:

There's a lot more if you look into it.

And his whole defense is that he isn't literally a murderer and that he totally didn't need to steal.

And given the chance to elaborate on that position, his own attorneys had no questions at all.

The legal team that didn't bother to cross examine their own client after he testified for the prosecutor? I think they know.

Consider that for a moment. Trump himself just testified ONLY for the plaintiff. His own lawyers had nothing for him to answer at all.

They could have asked him anything like: "explain how it's someone else that's responsible for this" or "explain in detail how this is a witch hunt." Literally anything.

The problem is that women and men who vote to protect abortion are ALSO voting for the same fascists as always. These abortion votes aren't impacting the down ballot races like they should.

There seems to be a pretty big group of folks that are okay with fascism as long as it doesn't directly impact them.

Must be nice living in countries where the government works for humans instead of corporations.

What feed? What the fuck are you even talking about? Did you get a script for the wrong platform or something?
