Bit of a hot take, but I'm really hoping for china to go windows-free. Even if it's OrwellOS and sends ungoldy amounts of data to the government (pretty sure they already do that on windows too), just make it linux-based.
Compnaies would finally start taking linux in serious consideration to not being left out of the chinese market, we would start seeing laptops sold with linux and all the good stuff.
Last but not least, yes, we are in development on the next chapter β The Elder Scrolls VI. Even now, returning to Tamriel and playing early builds has us filled with the same joy, excitement, and promises of adventure.
So still no updates on TES6 then. Saved you a click I guess
What the fuck
Only worth if you want to support telegram financially imo
Absolute power move.
Surely a good exercise for the person who does it and a good way for those who work(or want to work) in the field to see how other designers tackle these kind of projects, even if for fun.
Wouldn't really call it meaningless
I love what valve is handling the whole steam deck project
Can't really help with your request, just wanted to let you know you're amazing OP

All the major lemmy instances are heavily lgbtq friendly, and a big part of lemmy's userbase is pro lgbtq
I fucking hate US
I've been using it for a couple years with two accounts. It's great imo, highly recommended

He totally did it just because he wanted to and he thought there wouldn't have been any repercussions. Now shit's hitting the fan, as it should
It's definitely quieter than it was back in june but Lemmy/Kbin are very much alive at this point.
I've been able to not come back to reddit since then, and I'm not really missing it tbh
Eternity for lemmy is peak user experience imo
Linux can be used to play commercial games > more people daily drive to linux > more companies port their software to linux > even more people switch to linux > Windows/macOS duopoly breaks, losing to open source alternatives
I'm not saying playing call of duty on the deck will make windows fall, but it's a start
The steam deck is fire
*Ublock Origin, an extension for firefox and Ublock origin Lite, an extension for chrome and derivatives
Not trying to be pedantic, people who never heard of it could straight up download the wrong software
Is it just me or very few games support FSR3? Which is a shame, it looks amazing on paper
Recommending ubuntu to newbies is the product of either incompetence or malice when Mint, zorin and nobara exist
It's from the same dev. You could see it as the natural evolution of newpipe. So far the only difference it's the possibility to submit sponsorblock segments with tubular.
There's literally a black mirror episode (season 1) where this concept is explored. Circumstances are a bit different though
Absolutely agree. It's counterintuitive, but waking up earlier than you need to and start your day slowly actually makes you feel more rested and calm (provided you've still slept sufficiently)
Fuck fast foods (and fast fashion and everything related)
Currently entering the herculean effort phase, wish me luck

I don't know anything besides the fact that it has drm-free games and that it's owned by CDPR (the guys who developed the witcher series and cyberpunk)
I personally purchase my games on steam, since I think their contribution to linux gaming is crucial for linux to go mainstream
