"I haven't eaten in 4 hours and 41 minutes and now long for a sandwich with cheese, tomatoes and lettuce" also gets more info across than saying "I'm hungry", yet people keep using the latter.

I think the reason might be racism.

Just carry one around with you and whenever something important happens or you are about to do something risky, pull it out, press it with your finger and loudly say "Save".

Edit: Bonus points for carrying a huge cardboard mouse pointer to click with.

Edit 2: I really should read all the replies before starting to type.

In my opinion the reason it's supposedly insulting is rooted in misogyny. A woman is the property of her male relatives. When someone sleeps with her without the permission of these relatives, he uses their property without permission, demonstrating his power over them.

I do realise that many people use this insult because it's just something you say. But I think it's worth reflecting about what it actually is you are saying.

I don't really understand your description and I'm guessing that's the reason for the downvotes. What do you mean by (half) cylinder? Maybe you could try adding a sketch of what you mean?

When designing safety features like seat belts or safety harnesses: "Women have these weird anatomical quirks, seems complicated, let's just ignore it."

Sekhmet seems more appropriate, though depicted with a lion's head not a housecat's.

Sekhmet acted as the vengeful manifestation of Ra's power, the Eye of Ra. Sekhmet is said to breathe fire, and the hot winds of the desert were likened to her breath. She is also believed to cause plagues. (Wikipedia)

She would sort that shit out.

Community. Won't chang my interactions that much.

I already have a ticket for regional public transport in all of Germany. Some trains going to train stations just over the border in neighbouring countries are covered as well. So I'll just take one of them. 0€.

If you count the ticket it's 49€.

"LGTM"

Nice, done for today.

In Germany there is no official limit for how long it can take to form a new government. If there is no clear winner and the coalition talks are complicated, it can easily take a month or more. After the election in 2017 it took almost half a year before Merkel was elected as Chancellor and the government was formed. That was uncommonly long though.

For the time between the first sitting of the newly elected parliament (30 days after the election iirc) and the formation of a new government the previous government acts as caretaker government.

I would never paste code into a Word document. I use Notepad++ for that.

I can't think of any.

But I'm a bit sad that the French-originating Bonmot is already taken in German (meaning a witty one-liner). It would have been a nice allusion to Bonbon (candy), like words that taste nice.

You don't get it, they are only sluts when they are giving other men attention. When they are giving OP attention, they are graceful, heavenly creatures (who should also give him some sex).

Many instances are mixed language. Feddit.org for example is mainly German communities for now but is officially a German/English instance and one of the largest communities is c/Europe, which is in English. Blocking whole instances will block many English communities as well. Though I get that that might be an acceptable trade-off to get rid of a flood of posts you don't understand.

It's a shame the language selection doesn't work on many apps.

How? I get to another country and then live there for basically the same amount of money I live on here. Do I have to count that too? Or the price for buying new furniture and opening a new bank account? It's very unclear from the post, what would you consider expenses that should be counted?

Edit: Okay, after reading the post again a few times – is the question how much money does the debt need to be to make you want to leave the country? I still find it very unclear.
