Kirkland signature wine and spirits (and tons of other Kirkland brand stuff). Not necessary better, but it's so much cheaper and so close to quality that it's a bit brainer to buy it over more expensive stuff. Plus,on a lot of instances the Kirkland signature is made by big companies and rebranded as Kirkland.
If I could relocate to a state where my views aren't swamped by the overwhelming redness of the state, I would in an instant, but sadly it's not in the cards until retirement.
I think the biggest impact is that the early adopters that have left reddit are the heavy users that respected the flow and community of Reddit. So the good of Reddit has come here, but the general populace and the keyboard warriors haven't figured it out yet, fortunately.

Yup, Jerboa has been great for using Lemmy on mobile. There are some features I miss coming from Relay, but it's all minor things that don't really impact the overall useability.

I heard about that, but I find it very unlikely that they could make a noise loud enough on the carbon fiber hull, not exactly known for it's acoustic properties and the resin acts as a sound damper. I'm not a material or acoustic engineer though, so who knows. Plus, the article did say that the sounds had stopped.

Gaming on Linux has gotten much better in the recent years. Honestly with the exception of games that use anit-cheat software, most games play just fine on Linux systems. I've abandoned windows, but my PC at work has windows 11 on it. I feels snappier and definitely looks better than windows 10. I'd say upgrade, but that's going to be your preference (I'd go Linux unless you play mostly fps or competitive games)
At this point I don't even care. I'm sure I'll still buy it when it comes out, but they've lost my enthusiasm with the milking dry of Skyrim instead of developing something new.
Give Linux Mint a try. It is very similar to Windows and will make the transition very smooth. Pretty much any windows programs that you want to run you can run in a shell like Wine.

That's a pretty similar story to mine. Used Linux pretty exclusively over a decade ago, then switched back for my gaming PC. Now that I'm back on Linux though, I don't see any reason to use windows on anything but my company PC, Linux is just better IMO now.
This. They had no way to be sure that the sound they detected was from the sun imploding. From the standpoint of the search crew, it makes much more sense to continue until you can verify without a doubt that you detected the failure.

You can install the blizzard launcher from the desktop in the deck, add it as a non steam game then do the same thing for Diablo 2 once blizzard downloads it. I forget the actual steps, but I followed a guide online.

I have a community for SpacePorn and it's just me posting things and almost 100 people watching with the very rare occasional comment popping up. It's a little frustrating feeling like I have to keep entertaining everyone, when I just want others to join in 😅.
Yeah I'm easy more active here that on Reddit, though I was very active when Reddit was younger. It just got too big and lost that feeling of taking to actual people and contributing to the overall experience.

I had a few Oneplus phones, but the 7 pro was my last of theirs. the 5 and 7 pro were phenomenal phones and the 7 pro is still one of my favorites phones ever. That being said, I didn't like the direction they were going and the full merge with Oppo so that oneplus phones are basically stripped down version of Oppo phones, just soured me to them completely. Then you have their non-existent customer service reputation and they've been put on my list to avoid.
I was a huge fan of Oneplus, but will not buy any of their products again

It broke my home feed. I can't sort by anything other than local. I can still access individual committee, but not on my home feed.
I'm also in the US and the only thing I fear about the government is that they will continue to fail to put our best interests over corporate greed. It's a given at this point, but still disappointing.
