Yep, it feels like we're about to see the second wave of piracy, and more and more people are going to dust off their jolly Rogers. $80 was worth it for the catalog, but the price hike is completely unjustifiable. I've already canceled my sub, and I'm betting there will be plenty who do the same. A 75% increase is egregious.

There's no way to enforce an age ban on anything Internet related without serious privacy violations.

I paid $ 79.99 less than a year ago. If they hiked it from 80 to 110, then hiked it again in less than a year that makes their practice even worse. They saw no dip in users so they thought they could go back for another bend over the bar.

See my edited post to see proof.

The general sentiment is that the publisher did all the work, and the charity needs the money the most. Humble Bundle is a fantastic platform, but they are a middle man than takes a slice for bundling the products and presenting them to you. That has value, but the other two options deserve a majority of the pie.

It's already been cancelled. 🏴‍☠️

Basic first aid and CPR. Hopefully you never need it, but if you do the ability to recognize a medical situation and react accordingly can save lives.

You can buy a Lenovo X1 carbon from a couple of generations back that still kicks ass for well under $500. I grabbed a Gen 6 with an I5 in it for under $200, slapped a m.2 SSD in it, and now I have an amazing daily driver that I don't have to worry about.

Check my edit. I was billed $80 less than a year ago.

There's a lot of free models out there already, and most models are created by individual artists. I encourage you to skip your coffee for a day if there's a paid model you really want to use, as you are directly supporting members of the 3DP community, rather than some corporation.

Nalgene for life. Lifetime warranty, BPA free, and durable as all hell.

^this guy gets it.

Also absurd and unconstitutional. You can make a rudimentary gun out of plumbing parts from a hardware store that is at least as effective as a 3d printer, arguably more so if you're looking at 100% printed parts. Should we run background checks at the register at Home Depot? Should you not be able to buy plumbing if you made some bad decisions and served the time?

These are all ridiculous laws designed to restrict the liberties of the common man.

Awkward techies is my guess.

Toyota and Honda are the most depends and reliable. There's a reason they hold value the way they do. I have a Toyota Highlander and Honda Odyssey both over 250k miles, still running like champs.

That's simply not true. Paying $250 for a printer of decent quality, and a few functional repairs will pay for itself..

The fact that there are multiple people in this community that have commented that they are cancelling their sub shows the value of sharing this post. Not all pirates are pure plunderers. There's a good amount of us that pay for content that is appropriately valued to them.

Tuck the shirt a bit more, and fix that belt. Goodwill has plenty of decent options.

See my post edit.

Plastidip the handles, you can get bright blue or yellow pretty easily, and one can will last ages.

You can hook the tiny handles on things too, which is nice when going hands-free.

Jokes aside, that's a pretty good idea.

Get a Sovol SV06, it's going to be cheap, easy to use, and minimal maintenance. You won't regret it. Even if you just use it for jigs and custom clamp points, or something simple like replacing a missing end cap or something, every shop/garage/home can benefit from a 3D printer. It can be just another tool, or a hobby that consumes you, you can dive as deep as you want lol. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!

That's already an individual decision over can make, and it should stay that way.

Kitchens are always a grind, but you should be getting more time off than that. Freaking owner/operators get more time off than two days a month.

Guitar. Pedals, amps, cables, picks, more picks, straps, strings, mics, stands, clamps, etc all add up. Oh, and of course you're always enticed to upgrade, but you can't get rid of the one you've grown to love, so now you have n+1 guitars.

To be clear, you can do amazing things with a Fender Bullet, but it's a slippery slope for sure.

Pedestrians hate us too. Drivers want us off the road, pedestrians want us off the paths. We are welcome nowhere.

My post is objectively true for the year-over-year pricing. See my post edit for proof.

That's not how our democracy works unfortunately. We are a representative democracy, and regardless of the way the majority vote, our representatives can and do act against the general populace on a consistent basis.

The Switch isn't that expensive to make, the chip, memory, and storage are all budget af.

You're right, I didn't realize the lawsuit had been thrown out. The fact remains the law is completely unenforceable without serious privacy violations.

You have full control of the level of opt in. You can go always listening, only in high traffic areas, or completely opt out of the network. But if you want to use the network, you have to contribute to it.

This game was a giant part of my childhood. I fondly remember playing in the car on late night road trips as streetlights went by.

I still have my DMG, and Donkey Kong is still in the slot. It's hands down the most nostalgic piece of my past that I still have.

I actually went opposite on my Pixel 8. A matte tpu screen protector gives you a self-healing protective layer that feels like paper and doesn't have glare. A beautiful bright display with a high refresh that feels like a kindle.

They are interchangeable, my one year old uses a bunch. Thanks for tuning me onto the steel one, I'll have to check it out!!!

The handle thing was a bit of a joke, though the handles do hook on to stuff pretty well. I can hook it onto my belt when carrying the little one.

Kreacher because it alerts for no reason and doesn't do a good job at the one thing it was made for.

This is what I'm talking about. Welcome to the seven seas matey!

The comfort and convenience of TWS is hard to beat. The Pixel Buds series A are amazing for the price.

I was as anti-croc as you can get until I tried a pair on. For house slippers, yard work, and grabbing the mail, they're absolutely amazing. I won't be caught dead in public with them though. If Croc made an insole they would sell like hotcakes. They've perfected their arch support and rebound.

Just a heads up, the steam deck can run switch games, often better that the original hardware. If you own a copy of the game it's legal to emulate on your device however you'd like.

Google is rolling out their own find device network soon™ with third party trackers that are rechargeable. They're pushing it through play services too so every android phone in the world will be in the network too, so it's a much more global network if you are traveling off the beaten path.
